Idk if this is correct but does it feels like Zaku Melee deals damage in addition to the 85 damage if you hit a target with the axe directly because it looks like it counting that as separate hit?

Ik this is unrelated but I just got melee and as soon as I was messing around with him I got chars zaku to spawn in practice on accident

As someone who has played Melee Zaku almost exclusively since I got the capital for him, I love the game of chicken that ensues when you dive Turn A. 99 times out of 100 they panic and try to throw you immediately, which you can easily punish with a Survive that you cancel early to get another hit or two in before their grapple animation finishes, but better Turn A players will save the throw, and the matchup is more fun that way.

Can you test this? Twice i thought i killed zaku melee but he won't die at 1 more bar. He was in rage mode and using his ulti, is his final bar indestructible at rage ulti?

@@Ming1975 Rage and/or ult does not make him indestructible in any way. Gundam Evolution has questionable netcode and if you're getting hit by melee zaku ult then you're probably getting tossed around and it's throwing off your aim; a number of things could be happening, but I can guarantee you that Melee Zaku is not invincible at any point when using Rage + ult

in lower ranks saz 100% counters zaku melee they think they are unstoppable but my axe says otherwise , plus i can dish more dmg up close than he can, they always pull up i take half their health they go blue i wait and axe right as they come out. also saz has an amazing movement ability to avoid zaku ult

I used to spam melee zaku and stomp most of my games. Till I played against people who know how melee zaku works, (they stun when I ult) pretty sucks tbh when I get those. Now I look at ppl with stuns and play carefully
