@@Dunmuir every time you say something I'm trying to learn new tips. Are you saying that there are voice line cancels? (The only one I know is Reaper loudly announcing his location. You can cancel that apparently. But I have never tried it)

Hidden tech: Try to get most damage dealt in game by focusing the enemy tank. Any girls in your game will think you're a 7 ft alpha with big rizz!

The corner window thing will come in handy! I've always wondered what is the best position and angle for it.
Fun fact:
On controller/console,using both triggers will make bap shoot 2 bursts and 1 healing grenade automatically,so you don't need to learn the tempo at all.
Unless you need more healing than dps, it's better to hold pressed both triggers at the same time for the tech to do itself.

You shouldn't force the heal -> shoot rhythm into games but you should definitely practice it from time to time since it's an important thing to get better at I'd you care about improving
Also I'm pretty sure your ult affects your healings too

I love baptiste and these tips are great. But my biggest problem is I can’t aim with him LOL
Try slowing your movement down a bit. A lot of people focus on making their strafing so sporadic that they just mess up their aim more than they help themselves be hard to hit

just remember that when deploying bap’s window, his device can be physically seen by the enemy team as it pokes out of his character’s ‘thingamajigs’
so if you’re gonna use your window, then don’t give it up once you’ve planned the position
also don’t save it, it doesn’t last long but is very effect at choke points like on king’s row
Here is one for brand new overwatch players, you can hold crouch and press jump to launch yourself. I know this is super basic but I had 3 friends in the last week who have over 100 hours on the game who didn't know. Im new too so it came as a shock for me too.

i’m a noob. i didn’t know you could shoot through his ult both ways 😂
So I will say you gotta be careful putting your lamp on corners and hiding it in general. It needs line of sight to work so positioning it an inch off that close to objects, it can be blocked suddenly and you or your team will die even though you're in the radius because there's a small lip on the wall etc.
It’s fine to put it a few feet back from the wall
Another tech, if you press ult button twice it rotates the window 90 degree

I knew these too so here's another tip as promised
In Baptiste personal settings, you can turn off auto compensation if you find yourself trying to compensate for his recoil yourself. This will significantly increase your accuracy on him as when you try to compensate while the game is also auto compensating, you will under shoot and miss.
FYI if you're hiding lamp around corners and stuff just know being in the field's circle won't matter if you're line of sighting it, it doesn't go through walls
Damn remember when Bap released and you could heal and shoot at the same time. Good times.
Wait he can't?? I know Kiriko and Moira can't do that but Baptiste feels much more flexible than them
@@RacingSnails64 no you can either heal or shoot now. It used to be you could hold Dow left and right click/trigger and both shots would come out.

Bap main here. Literally got 90% of my playtime in OW on Bap.
Tips that i got for yall: His healgrenade is hard to hit at longrange, so get behind bridges and try to exoboost jump up, making the aiming for the healgrenade way easier, since you see more from above. Against a Hanzo, Genji or Pharah jumpspam since Pharah has to be in the air to not get shat on by you. The high jumps make you hard to hit and then just spray that bird down. Same against the japanese brothers. The Hanzo has got to have very good aim to track and calculate the trajectory of his arrow to hit you midair. Close up with a Genji, slowly jump away towards spawn in case your team died (which shouldnt happen btw when you are still alive) and prepare to fight together.
Also dont be affraid to solo ult a tank. In rolecomp his ult is amongst the most effective against ults when combined right. As bap himself you can literally 4 burst a fullhp orisa lol
Be careful jumping too much! Makes your movement predictable and easier to hit

Okay I'ven using the 2nd trick for a while now but turns out im dislexic so now I heal the enemy and shoot my teammate

immortality field prevents you from dropping below 20hp until it either expires or gets destroyed. so yes, as long as you're inside of the field, you cannot die

As a bap main. You forgot t9 say. Its faster to heal-shoot-heal compared to heal-heal-heal. But does less damage then shoot-shoot-heal
I am trying to learn heal-shoot-heal but it messes with my aim too much. I find shoot-shoot-heal or heal-shoot-shoot easier but sometimes I can get off heal-shoot-heal in situations like a chokepoint being stormed.
It’s not faster, the ways I said are the highest damage and highest healing you can do

Baptiste's ultimate is surprisingly op if the Baptiste player can aim. I've pulled off multiple POTG popping on myself in an off-angle to kill alot of their team, while keeping my own alive
pretty sure top level its used purely on yourself to get a flank kill lol
