I use that last tip a lot, it's also great for grappling into the air and getting a few shots into somebody before you piledrive them

Loool double hits tend to be as much as you can reasonably get tho lololol
Be aware slam goes in the direction you are looking not the direction hammond is facing/moving.
More people need to be aware of this lol, ive seen a couple wb that just piledrive in the wrong direction
Does direction matter? I always thought it was just a radius thing. Or are you just referring to how ball moves forward slightly to prevent environmental deaths?
@@RealEllenDeGeneres the damage is a radius as well the knock up effect but ball slightly moves forward the direction looking towards so it's to keep in mind when doing on ledges.

Another good tip is the ability to jump on people and piledrive them, and another would be to Use both vertical and horizontal movements

Go to spawn, press h, pick a different tank.

Great ball tips, I’ve just started my wrecking ball phase
Its worth noting you need to have hold to crouch instead of toggle for the pile-driver to activate instantly
Damn solid info. I'd probably never hold it down for the example that he gave, but that will help getting off piledrivers in the very small windows you have sometimes instead of spamming the crouch key and missing still
ball needing 80 techs to be sub viable
This is the most useful hampter tip: don't play him

Best Hammond tip: when you’re in spawn press H and go Orisa
the most useful and easiest ball tech if you just learning ball is bunny hoop
Simply to keep your speed momentum after fireball just keep spamming jump after you let go of the grapple, that will keep your speed longer and can save you when you ran away or get to a spot quicker than the other
Also you will always piledriver to the spot where your camera facing

You should've said a jump scare warning! That Jump scare gave my grandma a heart attack, she was trying to learn how to play Wrecking Ball! (Don't ask why)
Number one wrecking ball tip is switch off wrecking ball
useful for the 3 people that use ball
very useful for a 60 second guide man: you can also launch yourself very high by fireballing & jumping into sloped objects to reach some highgrounds faster. Especially cars. I love cars.

I always wondered how do you do the fire ball again the opposite direction after hitting a wall
You just have to push the opposite direction right after hitting it to maintain a bit of momentum and then release right at the max range of your grapple
They need to add a little damage to his primary.
So if I may ask, how the hell do you figure this stuff out? Trial and error? From others?

I don't understand the 2nd tip. How do you get fireball?
Moving
Just by moving while grappled it starts building more speed until you're a fireball
Practice using the grapple on pillars and letting go of it after one or two seconds and that's it
Once you have the practice on how much time you need to be grappled to be a fireball you can do it at will at any time

@@Dunmuir I tried it but I didn’t get enough height.. I let go of W when I’m about to hit a wall and it just knocked me back slightly. I also tried jumping as I’m about to hit the wall, and it still didn’t give me enough height. Did I miss anything, or am I doing it wrong? (Although it might be a skill issue lol…)
