Wow Troy, amazing what you have achieved! Beautiful greenhouse design. Quite an operation. I always have the question: What happens to those well developed plants, as basil, lettuces, that look so good on the towers? Your harvesting rhythms must be specific, as to not lose them. And then, do you package, and sell to your local stores? Thanks.
We are constantly harvesting our produce for our CSA program, for our Market & we supply fresh produce to many local restaurants.

How do you prevent algae blooms on your towers?
If you compare how much water each tower uses in a day compared to how much water you actually deliver to each tower per day you`ll conclude its not very energy efficient.

@@Workingclass_ indeed. I just keep checking out uTube video’s to get an idea. Cost and durability. Two main factors. Of course it’s going to make a big difference on where you live.
What I’m finding now is regardless of how hot it gets (Arizona , Nevada and California) or how cold it gets ( -0 in many areas). It makes sense to dig down and run pipes for ground control temperature equalization . Around 64* summer or winter. Plus a foundation several feet below the surface. One could save a lot on heating and air conditioning. Plus if you push the dug up earth against the sides that would protect against high winds and flooding. More earth = less building material.
Even dig below that and put in cisterns for rain water catchment and root cellar for food storage to save on refrigeration.
