Nice video thank you so much for the advice I will use this for my lifestream you are a truly an amazing guy thank you so much for the help that you’re giving out to everyone I appreciate it a lot
@@sslickzz3574 I've definitely made this mistake, Not even 30 days in. Feeling like the rush to hit affiliate. Now it's taking those steps to build and not rush.
I’m loving these videos, they’re super helpful! The main tip I can think of is definitely: keep viewers engaged, talk to them, and stuff. This is how I got my first viewer to stick around and join my discord server and now I am up to 10 followers which I am very happy with.
A tip that I picked up from my mum that she used in her business (albeit this probably works best for small streamers), is to keep a little notebook on my desk, and if there are regulars that come in, or a new follower that's come in a couple of times, but maybe they mentioned their birthday or a family trip they were taking, etc. I write it down and ask them about their trip, wish them a happy birthday, etc. at the relevant date. I found that it's made people feel 1. really happy that I remembered and care about them as an important and valued member of the community, and 2. more likely to come back because now there's a more personal connection, which I love :) Thanks for another great video!
Since my first day of having an actual streaming schedule, I've applied as many of your tips and pieces of advice to my brand and channel. Now I'm sitting comfortably with nearly 200 followers, 45 subscribers, and around 8-12 average viewers per day..... And I started on December 1st. You and your team are geniuses and I can't thank you guys enough for how you've changed my life, and my outlook on streaming and content creation as a whole. Thank you
This video? Hey, if your self esteem feels better thats you having a better outlook :) These videos don't do anything special, that's all you smashing it!
My tip: don’t measure your success by factors you cannot control. Of course follower & sub goals can be something you strive for, but my tip is to focus on what you can control and to take pride in your improvement as a streamer instead of focusing too heavily on the numbers.
Exactly, this is true for anything. It's not about the NUMBERS. It's about what GETS you the numbers. Control that and the numbers will happen on it's own.
Got my notepad ready. Let's do some learning! My tip is turn OFF viewer count. Keeping an eye it will only psych yourself out. Stream the same you would to 3 people as you would 300 people :)
@@orangephoenixmedia I did the same thing! Depending on what streaming Software you are using you should be able to toggle it off. On OBS on the twitch stats you can click the viewerr number and it'll hide it. On the Twitch streaming manager you can hide it as well, or remove it from the dashboard. I don't know about streamlabs, but it should be similar. Hope that helps!
Something that I figured out for both recording and streaming was do not procrastinate. I waited for various reasons to either stream or record content and I used those reasons as excuses not to and as a result, it took a while for me to get started. Such excuses included me thinking my voice was lame. Ty again for your videos.
My advice: find a small thing that makes you a streamer, and not just a guy playing games. Have that talk with a few of the kids I teach. They have hard time figuring out why they cant get viewer. Then I ask what they do, their respons is: "I play minecraft with friends" I ask them if they entertain the chat or have anything to offer them? They goes blank.
My tip is to think whenever a viewer doesnt stay, or you loose viewers, subs or followers, I just say "it was never ment to be", that relationship was never ment to be, it wasnt your fault, it was just never ment to be yenno
My tip: Don't look at others to measures your success or lack thereof. The only way to really measure your success is to compare yourself from today to where you were yesterday.
I've been following your videos bro. Your help has actually been unique and straight forward. I don't like when people try to sugar coat their tips. Your just chatting tip on the other video had me at the most viewers this month. I can't thank you enough
My tip is to be active in chats of other small streamers. That has helped me a lot because we go to each others streams and gets those few inital viewers. Also loved the video! Must have been tricky to think of this many tips! Way to go!
Thanks for the kind words! I think you gain more value learning how those chats interact and change than from people checking you out. Seeing other streams and how their communities work then making notes can be very valuable!
The "create a narrative" tip has really helped me recently! One tip I can offer: If there's some dead air, hum a tune or make silly sound effects to go with what you're doing in the game. Whatever you do, don't stop talking. Sometimes it becomes a fun inside joke, like in Subnautica whenever I use my grappling hook I sing the old Spiderman theme song and my chat turned it into a drinking game 😅
These tips actually work. I have people watching in the same country as me and I also have people that are watching my stream very early in the morning in their time consistently. Thank you so much for all of the advice!!!
Double down on Awkwardness and Goofiness. One of my regulars was in chat for community day on her birthday, and I was gonna sing happy birthday for her. Was stopped because of DMCA. So instead I improvised a freestyle birthday rap for her. I don't rap, and it was terrible. Everyone still loved it, and thought it was hilarious. Good luck on all of your journeys!
I make primarily TH-cam content, but you've been immensely helpful in expanding content to streaming. Building a community is essential at lower levels of TH-cam, and livestreams are a great way to do that. Thank you for all you do!
Great to hear it! I have a video about TH-cam growth as well that might be helpful! I've done Video SEO as a job for a few years now and worked on multiple channels, let me know if it helps as well!
Hey, just wanted to say thank you so much for all the support I started on TH-cam years ago and moved over to twitch around a week ago so its been amazing seeing all the videos and all the help that you have provided. Also a tip for people seeing this is when you realize you aren't talking and that its been a little bit since you've spoke just say random things that come on your mind. This way if someone is in your chat they can/will reply, conversations will start and inside jokes can be made!
Another tip is, a lot of streaming tips can be summed up by being a good person. That’s something that you have to figure out on your own time (Reframing self-destructive ways of thinking, etc). Because if you genuinely love what you do and appreciate your viewers, it will show.
Wow, I just stumbled across this via a recommendation, and it makes me even happier - I've done pretty much all of these tips (except the TH-cam ones gotta work on that!) and I've found my Twitch channel to be growing steadily. I'm SO glad that the "not streaming" everyday tip came up, because I know so many streamers that burn themselves out by streaming 7 days a week, then look down on me for not doing the same. Streaming everyday PREVENTS your growth. If you're not networking outside of streams, then it's going to cost you in the long run.
man your videos, no lie, have helped me grow in the last 3-4 weeks. already hit affiliate an averaging around 10 viewers a stream! Also, my chat interaction streams have become the most fun. Honestly can't thank you enough!
Between this, Harris Heller, and Nutty, I've completely turned around my Twitch stream. Really can't thank you enough man! Each channel has their own strengths and this is my go-to for any and all marketing, ideas, tips, and everything in between. I can't recommend you to enough people! I've watched probably 40 of your videos in the last month. At least. Next is to turn my YT around.
for someone who is completely new to everything pc/tech to stream related things, these videos have been super helpful! I wanted to say thank you! I feel much better starting my streaming journey:)
I love the videos that you do. The only my tip I can think of consider starting a twitch account with a friend who has similar interests in starting their own twitch journey. You both help motivate each other and it feels like a bigger community.
My tip is to not be afraid of things that might not happen! I was a bit anxious to get started but once I did I realised how much I enjoyed it and the chance to make someone else laugh or to feel less lonely is mindblowing! Honestly, don’t hold yourself back , you have nothing to lose!!
i play a ton of multiple player games so if i have a dead chat, the dead air is filled up with our conversations! its been super helpful. last night i even had my friend stream him and the others play apex to discord, i window captured it and showed that while i went on a food break for 10 mins or so (he knew lol) - that helped a TON with keeping people watching instead of going to a pause screen
Was able to launch my first stream because I binged all of your educational videos. Also the Cherry Blossom overlay was a big hit with chat. It really went well with the pokemon nuzlock. Thanks man I appreciate you and everything you do!!!!
Dude I love all of your videos I’ve taken everything to heart started last week 4th stream and already 20 follows with average of 3 viewers! Can’t wait to hit affiliate and grow with all you twitch streamers out here ☺️
@@StreamScheme thanks man I really appreciate it can’t wait for more videos I’ll make sure to share with my friends and followers that want to grow on twitch 😁
Your videos have been helping me out recently with my channel. Ive become an affiliate last summer and just past 100 followers before the new year. Idk how people get all them viewers so quickly but I try not to worry about it and have fun.
my biggest tip is try your best to remember things about all of your chatters. if they have to leave your stream to go do a soccer game, ask them about it next time they're in chat! just little stuff like that has really boosted the number of true regulars i have.
My tip is to have a clear vision of what you want your stream to be like before you even start. Having a vision and knowing what you want to do helps so much. It helps you pick what type(s) of content you want to make and what kinds of people you want to appeal to and it helps you quickly get involved in the community around that content.
Another good one. Alot of information to digest so I may have to watch this one a few times. I stopped at number 15 to take notes. For real man, I think this is THE best channel as I've learned things on this one that I have NOT on others.
@@Hi-sc1zs just try to experiment different games that people enjoy you streaming. There isn't a best game. All you need is to find the genre your chat wants to see
Recently started streaming and your videos were a massive help in getting the ball rolling! Think my tip I need to keep telling myself is how can it improve and to keep on going regardless how difficult it can sometimes be. Excited for more content dude!
My tip would be to keep a physical bullet journal or notebook where to write what you're gonna stream in the next days, to have some general input of what you're trying to achieve and talk about that day :> Of this video the most useful tips for me were the ones on the community building part, I don't think I'll have trouble coming up with goals and how to get them, but I still find a bit hard to believe the idea that someone would actually watch me and talk with me xD as you said numbers are people, and thinking of someone actually sitting in front of their pc/phone and choosing to spend their time with me makes me a bit nervous haha
I love all the tips man, but where i differ, I've been streaming every night for the past few months, i stream for about 2-3 hours each night and ive been going so well on it, thanks so much for the tips man, you deserve alot more recognition
Hey Stream Scheme, thanks for replying man, i really appreciate it, My twitch name is ItzRektifyed, but please dont feel you have to check my stream out bro, i appreciate the tips and im here for your content man :)
My main tip is that gear doesn't really matter when you start out. I started streaming on a gaming laptop and with my headset mic, I still use them both today but will be upgrading to a pc this summer. I got affiliate in 3 months of streaming a couple days a week. That, and consistency really is key. I hit my 50 followers and got affiliate in March 2018, life got busy and I made excuses to stop streaming (though at one point I wasn't able to stream at all due to poor internet) its only the past few months I've gotten consistent again and started gaining 1 to 3 new followers every stream. Though again iys just my luck that once I'm finally consistent that my laptop fans give out on me and im stuck unable to use my laptop at all for 2 to 3 weeks while I wait for replacement parts. In the meantime I found your videos and im just itching even more to get back to streaming and to implement these tips! I love how you dont just use the same old tips everyone hears all the time, you have examples and you can tell that you genuinely care about this topic. Keep it up! You've earned my sub and I cant wait for new content.
I must say. Your TH-cam channel is my favorite channel for streaming tips. You have a very positive (‘glass half full’) mindset and you’re good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. You may have only 17k subs but your videos mean the world to me.
My Tip would have to be to play something you enjoy and that you really care about. Chat will know if you're having fun or not and that energy will lead to chat having the same energy as you. Find a game that has decent discoverability that you really enjoy and go for it!
I couldn’t agree more! I know it’s extremely obvious when someone is playing a game to only grow viewers. It’s really obvious and it makes it less fun to watch.
im still a very small streamer but yesterday i got my first non school friend follower because of game selection. i played resident evil and it seems like thats a good game to get people to check you out. so if you like this game or games like it then you just might find a few people. i also had a bunch of people stopping by but not following but just the fact that everyone is stopping by is a good sign if you cant tell im pretty exited about this. Its the start to my growth
Some you might've heard already if you watch the channel hahaha It's a wrap up with as many as I could think of while recording! It's why I start at 62ish then say 64ish but its actually 65 hahahaha
@@StreamScheme hahahah i noticed that but it's all good stuff. and hearing it again just means it might stick a little more. which is important because sometimes our skulls are pretty thick and our egos a bit impenetrable.
I only found your channel really recently but I've been legitimately really enjoying the content and you give some great advice. Will make sure to stop by a stream soon :D
My tip is to have fun. I only started streaming in November. I watched and played with other streamers and build friendships with them that they raided me and i got affiliate very quick maybe before i was ready Im planning the streams for next year using all the tips from these vids. Now to setup a youtube what was that vid i needed to check out again lol
Yeah. I'm hoping that when I start my mc server with some of the people in eljayem's discord, then it will help me grow and have fun a lot more. Still waiting to see though.
@@crimson9641 I really think the MC server play at the size you and everyone else is won't help you grow honestly. You're also all VERY different streamers so your content most likely won't mesh perfectly. If you're doing the server for fun, go for it, if its for growth I'd say it won't work too great. I would've mentioned it sooner but I didn't realise it was a growth tactic.
You kind sir, are building a wonderful and positive community here! My tip: Learn from your mistakes, after a stream I take time to look over what I did right and wrong and how to improve and make a positive vibe that multiple viewers enjoy.
Take 10-20 minutes out of your day to participate in other communities, be it on discord, Twitter, WhatsApp etc. The more active you are in other communities the more willing people from said communities will be to watch or review your stream or video when it’s time. ⚠️Do not link dump⚠️
The biggest takeaway is you’ll also learn a lot about how communities grow, rather than hoping they come watch it’s more of a “oh neat this is what people do”
7:28 this has actually helped me last few recent streams. I started doing this when I was at zero or even 1 viewer. Then someone would randomly say something in chat! So I try to keep this momentum going since I mainly do IRL just chatting streams. I do occasional gaming...
I actually stream on a different platform named Spoon but still 90% of your tips help and now for my tip is don't over edit and what I mean by this is don't edit your thumbnail to much to the point where it just looks cluttered
You are by far the most helpful guy to talk to about any of this stuff! Really appreciate your efforts man to help us out, hopefully one day we will achieve many big goals too, all thanks to your help :)
How can I improve talking to an empty stream? A lot of the time no one is in my stream but ik I get a lot of views after my stream is done and in my library so any tips on talking to an empty stream would help!
You most likely aren't getting views on your VoDs on your stream, the views on the vods are calculated by how many individual accounts went through your stream in 10 minute intervals, so if a bot checks the stream, or even if you are logged in yourself it counts the view and adds it to the streams recording on your channel after the fact. I'd say if you want to improve while talking to an empty stream, check out my streaming to 0 viewers video as well as planning out content, plan out stories, jokes, talking points, etc!
This has helped a load. Thanks. I think the most important ting for me is to remember different users. Ask questions and be engaged and try to not have dead air.
So whenever I start my stream, about 2 minutes later I get like 10 new viewers and then it goes back down to 3-4. I am doing all of the chat engaging things and I have a good stream setup. How do I get those people to stay on the stream for a little bit?
I stopped doing that after hitting affiliate. I used to have Stream Manager open in the browser while streaming and checking off and on, look at viewer count and if the stream was shown fluently there. Now, I keep it off and I don't know how many people were watching until I get the summary later.
A tip that i use is i started journaling more and highlighting specific events that I want to talk about in my streams. I jot them down in my iPad and have it beside me when I'm streaming. If there's ever a time where I'm not talking about anything, I will look at my iPad and read out one of the things that had happened to me that week. I have a very bad memory so it helps to just jot my whole life down LOL. Another quick tip is I learned how to be more descriptive with my words, like how you would when you had a word count on your school essays.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year dude. I would recommend not to pursue streaming if you are studying a degree. Your schedule goes down the toilet when deadlines and exams get closer.
A tip from myself personally, I have been streaming for around 10 months now and I can say is to interact and ask follow up questions when engaging to your audience, this has proven to me that this specific person comes back as I am giving them attention and also my other fellow watchers! :D
Hey dude I had my first stream the other day and using about 10 of your tips I got a top of 5 viewers! It isn’t a lot but for a beginner I personally think it’s amazing! Thanks so much. You’re the best with tips :D
I'm a beginning VR and sometimes desktop game streamer. My tip for people who want to get into VR while streaming get the right headset and set-up and test it 5 times before you start streaming it can really make sure everything works and you get al the notification
I’m about 90% through your video and your material and numbers are absolutely awesome ! It was very very very helpful for a starter out , or even a seasoned person . I’ve been personally streaming for about 90 days I’ve been doing a lot of stuff the wrong way !! Thank you for making the video !!!
Hey just wanted to say how useful your channel is and I really appreciate all the effort you put in when creating your content! I discovered you on youtube but I'd love to come watch your stream (unfortunately different time zones makes it harder). I often find myself coming back to your videos that i already watched because of tips and stuff i remember watching! Keep up with the amazing work, and again thank you for your content ^^
I appreciate that! Very very kind of you to say! Don't worry at all about making it to stream! Just hope the videos can continue to help you and anyone who needs them! Good luck!
a few week backs i was haven’t it so hard but now i did some things such as hiding my view count and working towards streaming the same no matter who is there! Still working on how i can contribute to the community and bring my own custom spice to it
Laughter is both contagious and good medicine, I will stick around longer in a stream where they are smiling and laughing as opposed to blank or rbf. Also, us neurodivergent types have the bonus of being used to talking to ourselves, explaining why we are doing what we are doing, cracking jokes into thin air, and just carrying a completely one sided convo when there's no one to chat with lol
I am a beginner affiliate streamer and I am a bit confused at points but your videos help me so much! I hope to grow and learn from each one I watch. Thank you so much, I couldn't say it enough.
You've been a great help in starting up my twitch and making me more confident as a streamer! Thanks for the information and educating people like me who don't know it all just yet. Let's get this man a million subs because HE DESERVES IT!!
Not sure about deserving it! Maybe after another couple hundred videos and by providing a lot more value to everyone! But I really appreciate the kind words and support my man!
These tips are fantastic and have boosted my own confidence immensely. I've reached a slight stagnation on Twitch and now I've got something to go back with to help keep pushing that growth forward! Thank you! 🙂
Loving the content man! I had no idea there were websites that could let you use more emotes! As for tip, here’s one I’ve learned: use games like “Marbles on Stream” or “One Troll Army” on steam to give your chat something to look forward to and do in game! The two I mentioned are FREE on steam and link to your Twitch. Super fun to play and chat while doing a “Chat vs Me” game night
Awesome video as always, you have really helped me out with learning some of the ropes! My tip would be "Just be yourself! People want to see the real you, and trying to keep up a character when streaming all the time will be extremely draining and people will be able to tell you are not being genuine."
My tip is keep searching and studying technics for your stream! I have started making streams now, and seeing videos and reading things about streaming keep my engaged!
I started streaming and creating recently. I definitely saved money by utilizing my Rockband USB microphone, and used my old ps4 cam holder to hold my mic. Definitely a difference in audio quality. My tip is to fine tune and check and recheck your own footage, and research keywords before you publish a video to see where your video appears compared to others in the same topic.
It’s nice to see some achievable tips. I’m just starting out on Twitch, I made affiliate and mainly stream Warzone because I love the game (a no no I know) but am considering going back to old school RuneScape as soon as I get my updated pc next month. I’m told I’m funny and have natural charisma, I just hope I can translate that into my stream. Thank you so much for the info, and will be jotting down notes when it’s time to get serious :)
My tip: Play what you find fun or find enjoyable. (with the exception of overpopulated games, for growth anyway) In my early stream days I've been committed to streaming one game and one game only. 2 weeks after of not having fun, I've swapped to variety, started applying your tips and my channel literally doubled in average viewers and I've reached affiliate on Christmas Day. Have to say a big thank you to your guides, there's always something new to learn. On a different note, how do you combat pre-roll ads? Do you run a 90s ad every 30min to ensure no pre-roll ads are shown for newcomers? (finally managed to catch your stream today for the first time for a little bit so I don't really know how you do) Thank you
Well I do not have any tips I am just beginning in this streaming world and I might add that starting my layout really did discourage me at first (it still does a little) but these that you have been giving and the other videos that I have watched , have really helped me so far and I cannot wait to get started with this journey!!!
Im loving the videos, they have really helped me gain confidence in my stream. I'm now working on my stream to be the best i can make it, thank you for the vids!
I stream a lot of Persona 5 Royal (a JRPG that has a lot of lines from the characters that are read-only) and I read the lines out loud, sometimes in funny voices that sound nothing like the character is meant to sound. It really entertains my viewers, and I went from 1 viewer to 11 concurrent viewers within a few minutes just from doing this!
A tip I've found to be very useful is raiding on twitch. I'm not sure if it works in the same way on youtube, but raiding is a pretty nice way of putting yourself out there. It's mutually beneficial as the streamer you raid gets exposure to your community, and you are exposed to their community. Sometimes people follow you from raids and end up coming to your stream too. I feel as though it's definitely a way to network, promote yourself and others, without having that 'hey check me out' annoying tone, which (rightfully so) a lot of people do not appreciate. Take some time to find a nice community to raid and overtime, it'll show results :D. Good luck!
Gosh I do need to raid more! I really struggle to raid due to having a lot of anxiety and some raid experiences in the past! Glad to hear you've had good raids though!
I have found that being active and supportive on other streams creates interest in you as a person. I don't mean go and self promote but chat with others about the stream you are watching.

Absolutely! I constantly have to tell people that being a gamer is different to being a content creator!
My tip is to think whenever a viewer doesnt stay, or you loose viewers, subs or followers, I just say "it was never ment to be", that relationship was never ment to be, it wasnt your fault, it was just never ment to be yenno
My new year resolves to start streaming and to reach at least 50 followers so I've been binging your videos. Thank you for existing.
You got this! Good luck! :)
How is it gping ?
Dude, you ALWAYS manage to come in clutch with these videos. You’re killing it! 👏👏👏
Just glad they help :) Thanks for the kind words though!
My tip: Don't look at others to measures your success or lack thereof.
The only way to really measure your success is to compare yourself from today to where you were yesterday.
Absolutely! :)
THIS!
I've been following your videos bro. Your help has actually been unique and straight forward. I don't like when people try to sugar coat their tips. Your just chatting tip on the other video had me at the most viewers this month. I can't thank you enough
Smashing it mate! Keep it up!
THIS! 100% this is how you do it! Keep up the hard work! Love hearing it!
This is a good tip. I've been doing it subtly, but haven't been thinking about this. Thanks
I am using this tip thank you!!
Same I have been scripting my content now I have a gameplan if it doesn't work I would adjust easier
YEESS i hum the mii tune from the wii when im waiting for something to load if my chat or friends im playing with aren’t talking lol
These tips actually work. I have people watching in the same country as me and I also have people that are watching my stream very early in the morning in their time consistently. Thank you so much for all of the advice!!!
Smashing it man! Keep up the hard work!
You can still sing happy birthday, you just can't use the backing track.
And absolutely just play to your style :)
Hey just glad to help! Keep up the hard work!
Another tip is, a lot of streaming tips can be summed up by being a good person. That’s something that you have to figure out on your own time (Reframing self-destructive ways of thinking, etc). Because if you genuinely love what you do and appreciate your viewers, it will show.
Very true! Keeping it positive and being the best you can be! Loving your comments!
Honestly these are amazing, I’ve been streaming for two weeks and managed to hit all the criteria for affiliate yesterday!
Nice work! Smashing it!
@@StreamScheme it just took me an hour to fill out the form 😂
@@EKTapstar what games do you Stream and on what console. I've been trying to build a community, but my games aren't getting attention.
@@crimson9641 I am part of a minecraft smp on pc that I stream. But I spent about a week before hand setting up overlays etc
@@EKTapstar k. Thats cool 😎
man your videos, no lie, have helped me grow in the last 3-4 weeks. already hit affiliate an averaging around 10 viewers a stream! Also, my chat interaction streams have become the most fun. Honestly can't thank you enough!
Great to hear! Keep up the hard work man! Chat interaction is always a blast!
fantastic video. i've binged all your videos and keep coming back to them to study them for Twitch. thankyou for everything!!
Glad to be able to help! Let me know if you need certain topics covered!
Glad I could help! Thanks for the kind words!
I love the videos that you do.
The only my tip I can think of consider starting a twitch account with a friend who has similar interests in starting their own twitch journey. You both help motivate each other and it feels like a bigger community.
Growing with a friend or "rival" the Pokemon method! I love it!
My tip is to not be afraid of things that might not happen! I was a bit anxious to get started but once I did I realised how much I enjoyed it and the chance to make someone else laugh or to feel less lonely is mindblowing! Honestly, don’t hold yourself back , you have nothing to lose!!
Absolutely! Great tip mate!
i play a ton of multiple player games so if i have a dead chat, the dead air is filled up with our conversations! its been super helpful. last night i even had my friend stream him and the others play apex to discord, i window captured it and showed that while i went on a food break for 10 mins or so (he knew lol) - that helped a TON with keeping people watching instead of going to a pause screen
Was able to launch my first stream because I binged all of your educational videos. Also the Cherry Blossom overlay was a big hit with chat. It really went well with the pokemon nuzlock. Thanks man I appreciate you and everything you do!!!!
Nice work! I replied to your other comment as well, but keep it up! :)
I love how interactive you are with your comments, plus you’ve helped me a ton with my streams. Much appreciated good sir!!!
Dude I love all of your videos I’ve taken everything to heart started last week 4th stream and already 20 follows with average of 3 viewers! Can’t wait to hit affiliate and grow with all you twitch streamers out here ☺️
Keep up the good work! Glad to hear the videos have helped, it’s your hard work that’s allowed the growth though!
@@StreamScheme thanks man I really appreciate it can’t wait for more videos I’ll make sure to share with my friends and followers that want to grow on twitch 😁
Which advices did you find most useful? Your growth in one week sounds amazing!
Your videos have been helping me out recently with my channel. Ive become an affiliate last summer and just past 100 followers before the new year. Idk how people get all them viewers so quickly but I try not to worry about it and have fun.
Everyone has their own path and journey :)
my biggest tip is try your best to remember things about all of your chatters. if they have to leave your stream to go do a soccer game, ask them about it next time they're in chat! just little stuff like that has really boosted the number of true regulars i have.
That personal connection! I love it!
My tip is to have a clear vision of what you want your stream to be like before you even start. Having a vision and knowing what you want to do helps so much. It helps you pick what type(s) of content you want to make and what kinds of people you want to appeal to and it helps you quickly get involved in the community around that content.
When your feeling down, don't give up, just keep going, play something you really love and turn off your viewer count
Another good one. Alot of information to digest so I may have to watch this one a few times. I stopped at number 15 to take notes. For real man, I think this is THE best channel as I've learned things on this one that I have NOT on others.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for all the kind words!
Your the absolute best, and thanks for answering all of my questions lol!
No worries :) Just working through them as I go!
@@StreamScheme What’s the best free game to stream with 0 viewers on Nintendo Switch or on PC? Sorry for another question...
Great tip! And thanks for the kind words, really just glad I can be helpful!
Actually engaging and communicating with your chat, don't just read a comment you should try talking to the people
Absolutely!
You're a bit of a legend mate. Thanks for the tips. I wish you all the success you deserve in the future :)
Much appreciated! Same back to you, I'm not special! Just doing my best! :)
My tip would be to keep a physical bullet journal or notebook where to write what you're gonna stream in the next days, to have some general input of what you're trying to achieve and talk about that day :>
Of this video the most useful tips for me were the ones on the community building part, I don't think I'll have trouble coming up with goals and how to get them, but I still find a bit hard to believe the idea that someone would actually watch me and talk with me xD as you said numbers are people, and thinking of someone actually sitting in front of their pc/phone and choosing to spend their time with me makes me a bit nervous haha
The nerves never go away but they get easier with time and practice :) Absolutely planning out your streams is crucial as well! Keep it up!
I love all the tips man, but where i differ, I've been streaming every night for the past few months, i stream for about 2-3 hours each night and ive been going so well on it, thanks so much for the tips man, you deserve alot more recognition
Always an exception to the rule, just don't burn yourself out! What's your Twitch name?
Good luck man!
Hey Stream Scheme, thanks for replying man, i really appreciate it, My twitch name is ItzRektifyed, but please dont feel you have to check my stream out bro, i appreciate the tips and im here for your content man :)
I just love the fact that you say 63 at the beginning, wrote 65 and actually got 64. :D
As well great and informative video.
So there are 65! Just the way I said it at the end made it sound like the last tip was 64th hahahaha
This was probably on of the BEST and informative videos on learning how to make a good stream.... so comprehensive and thorough
tip:watch more of this guys videos they are really helping me
Awww mate! Thank you! hahaha
Glad the content has been helpful! Sorry to hear about the tech troubles! They can really be the worst!
Always raid at the end. Drop 10 bits everywhere you hang out when you can.
Solid advice on the raids! Not sure about the 10 bits, never heard that advice but if it helps it helps!
It’s just something I can do within my control
I must say. Your TH-cam channel is my favorite channel for streaming tips. You have a very positive (‘glass half full’) mindset and you’re good at explaining things in a way that makes sense. You may have only 17k subs but your videos mean the world to me.
Wow! Thanks so much! We've only been uploading for a few months so we're excited to get so much feedback! Glad to hear they've made an impact! :)
My Tip would have to be to play something you enjoy and that you really care about. Chat will know if you're having fun or not and that energy will lead to chat having the same energy as you. Find a game that has decent discoverability that you really enjoy and go for it!
Being positive and enjoying yourself will go A LONG way, especially in a category that is discoverable!
I couldn’t agree more! I know it’s extremely obvious when someone is playing a game to only grow viewers. It’s really obvious and it makes it less fun to watch.
im still a very small streamer but yesterday i got my first non school friend follower because of game selection. i played resident evil and it seems like thats a good game to get people to check you out. so if you like this game or games like it then you just might find a few people. i also had a bunch of people stopping by but not following but just the fact that everyone is stopping by is a good sign
if you cant tell im pretty exited about this. Its the start to my growth
Starting out is an exciting time! Good luck! Enjoy it!
65??? dude you gotta chill i gotta make some dinner eventually
thank you for the content, excellent as always, but would expect no less from you!
I’m really glad the channel has helped! Thanks for the kind words!
0-1000 TH-cam subs! It’s on the channel!
Great tips! Enjoying it is just as important as anything else!
@@StreamScheme it's not primarily a growth tactic. It's mainly for fun, but can also help us all grow
You kind sir, are building a wonderful and positive community here! My tip: Learn from your mistakes, after a stream I take time to look over what I did right and wrong and how to improve and make a positive vibe that multiple viewers enjoy.
Reviewing your vod is a great tip! Seriously, it is so important!
How did this video get any thumbs down?!? Awesome video as always!
There is always room for improvement :)
I feel like this is one of very few channels that's actually helpful with all the info, short, useful and a bit of humor. Keep it up my guy.
There’s a lot of great creators out there! You should look up NuttyLmao as well! Fantastic stream educator!
Take 10-20 minutes out of your day to participate in other communities, be it on discord, Twitter, WhatsApp etc. The more active you are in other communities the more willing people from said communities will be to watch or review your stream or video when it’s time. ⚠️Do not link dump⚠️
The biggest takeaway is you’ll also learn a lot about how communities grow, rather than hoping they come watch it’s more of a “oh neat this is what people do”
Thanks for the advice.
@@moh4197 no problem dude! Wishing you success in the future :D
What’s a good community so I can join
You’re videos are awesome! This year I’m trying to make an honest effort towards streaming and your content is unbelievably helpful
Best of luck! Hope I can keep being helpful!
I'm super new to streaming but this video is so helpful! Thank you to everyone leaving tips in the comments too! ☺
I know the commenters are absolute legends!
There ya go! Glad it converts to other platforms!
You are by far the most helpful guy to talk to about any of this stuff! Really appreciate your efforts man to help us out, hopefully one day we will achieve many big goals too, all thanks to your help :)
I appreciate that! Good luck! I hope you have an awesome 2021!
100% It goes such a long way to remember people when they come back!
Here before 1k views 😎
Welcome in early gang!
Thank you for these! I love this channel!
KEEP YOUR HEAD UP STREAMER!!❤️
So whenever I start my stream, about 2 minutes later I get like 10 new viewers and then it goes back down to 3-4. I am doing all of the chat engaging things and I have a good stream setup. How do I get those people to stay on the stream for a little bit?
Just have to keep working hard to be engaging honestly!
Awesome tips! My top tip would be turn off your view counter. Always stream like people are watching.
Good call! Good content should be the focus no matter what!
Yes absolutely! I push this so often! It is so gosh darn important!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year dude.
I would recommend not to pursue streaming if you are studying a degree. Your schedule goes down the toilet when deadlines and exams get closer.
100% Spot On! If Scheduling is like that you're better off doing TH-cam content and growing a base there instead, easier to be consistent!
A tip from myself personally, I have been streaming for around 10 months now and I can say is to interact and ask follow up questions when engaging to your audience, this has proven to me that this specific person comes back as I am giving them attention and also my other fellow watchers! :D
I feel like "you should speak all the time" should be the number 1 tip - like 50% who stream do not follow it it feels like
Absolutely! So often it is just silent when I drop by!
Hey dude I had my first stream the other day and using about 10 of your tips I got a top of 5 viewers! It isn’t a lot but for a beginner I personally think it’s amazing! Thanks so much. You’re the best with tips :D
im jus trying to get 5 avg veiwers:(
I have videos on streaming to 0 and growing, and a video on growing to 25 average viewers with a direct example :)
@@StreamScheme thank you hopefully i can go somewhere with this
I'm a beginning VR and sometimes desktop game streamer.
Good luck!
Your videos are so great and they really help me learn what to do with my content and I can't wait to try some of these tips
Glad you like them, Tyler! It means a lot mate!
I'm starting streaming in July and i'm really excited, I've been watching all your videos and its helped a bunch with everything
a few week backs i was haven’t it so hard but now i did some things such as hiding my view count and working towards streaming the same no matter who is there! Still working on how i can contribute to the community and bring my own custom spice to it
Sounds like you’ve got a plan! Good luck!
Good luck! Thanks for dropping by stream last night as well! Glad the videos have been helpful!
Thank you! 🙂
Good luck! Glad to hear I could help even a tiny bit!
Go on his discord. Any questions you have, his great community always answers. It's incredible
You can use words on stream and Gartic on stream as well!
Awesome video as always, you have really helped me out with learning some of the ropes! My tip would be "Just be yourself! People want to see the real you, and trying to keep up a character when streaming all the time will be extremely draining and people will be able to tell you are not being genuine."
Love that! Thanks for the tip and the kind words!
This has been the best small streamers like myself . Really good stuff keep it up.
Glad to hear it!
My tip is keep searching and studying technics for your stream! I have started making streams now, and seeing videos and reading things about streaming keep my engaged!
Keep it up! Great advice!
That is one way to do it! Absolutely on the TH-cam keywords and 100% for the recheck your own footage!
(with the exception of overpopulated games, for growth anyway)
In my early stream days I've been committed to streaming one game and one game only.
(finally managed to catch your stream today for the first time for a little bit so I don't really know how you do)
Thank you
Love the advice and the balance of growth/enjoyment!
To beat prerolls, yeah I just run ads when I can. Mostly when I do bathroom breaks :)
Well I do not have any tips I am just beginning in this streaming world and I might add that starting my layout really did discourage me at first (it still does a little) but these that you have been giving and the other videos that I have watched , have really helped me so far and I cannot wait to get started with this journey!!!
Hey I am glad the videos have helped!
I love your positive attitude! Thanks for sharing your information
Im loving the videos, they have really helped me gain confidence in my stream. I'm now working on my stream to be the best i can make it, thank you for the vids!
Glad to hear it! Keep it up mate! :)
They love the funny voices don't they! I do it too!
@@StreamScheme it really works! And they come back because it's funny!
Love it. My tip is always think about ways to surprise the chat. I dyed my beard white for Christmas and people loved it
Love it! Solid Tip!
