I really wish folks would talk about the guys shooting 60/65 pounds
good luck. try searching for low poundage info for wifes bow set up. got to be 40 lbs. what if she cant get there now what. give up?
ADD 50 grains of Brass + an 18 grain insert, to a TOUGH, well Spined Arrow with, 3 ( THREE ), 2.7" AAE Max Stealth's, 2.88" VaneTec, Swifts or, the New X-3, 3" Bohning Vanes at, 3 Degrees of, Helical, USE, a SHARP, 100- 125 grain, 3 Bladed, G-5 Striker / Montec, Muzzy Trocar, Shuttle T or, a 125 grain, Grim Reaper, Micro Hades, DONE !
Such Arrows, will shoot Great and Hit, HARD,.. WITHOUT Excessive arrow, drops,.. in 45 to 60 Pound Bows ! Shoot for, a 400 to 460 grain, Max weight, Arrow.
Love where the content has been going lately. Can you make a video on if anything was wrong with your RIP TKOs since, you used FMJs and Axis forever, then switched to RIP TKOs, but then we didn't hear about how they really performed for you.

I don't ever post to videos etc but wanted to send high praise this one time for Valkyrie. I switched last year and built out my arrows myself. I run the 210 grain Jagger's with the 53 grain sleeves. This year I shot 2 through an elk, both were buried in the the rocks 30 yards past the exit. Then later in the year I shot a doe at 51 yards with the arrow going through both front shoulders, heart, and buried in the dirt 40 yards past.
As he mentions in this video, sharpening can be difficult unless you use the wheel. I built a system myself simply by gluing leather together until I had about a 1.5" thick "pad" of leather. I cut it perfectly round, and attached it to my bench grinder. If you add the green buffing compound, all three broadheads I shot were razor sharp in a matter of 5-10 minutes.
Lastly, the thing I think gets missed is how quiet this system is. I have had a struggle with animals jumping the shot until I switched. The first shot I took at a target, it was apparent how quite these arrows fly. The doe I shot this year, I assumed she would duck which is why I aimed slightly low. At 51 yards, she didn't move which is why it went through her heart rather than both lungs.
I can't say enough good things about this product and will be hard pressed to switch in the future.

Brent is a great guy. 2 years ago, I purchased the complete arrow system he called me up personally to double-check my setup he changed a few things and I can not say enough good things about the system last year I shot a bull at 45 yards forward quartering the arrow went all the way through the elk. Arrow entered in front of his left front leg and exited through his right rear leg. Ran 20 yards and dropped.
I've listened to the podcast twice and now watched the video portion. Good stuff! I met Brent at a NW Mountain Challenge event and had him build me a dozen arrows, six with broadheads and six with field tips. They were amazing! I'm getting ready to build up some more. After all my tinkering, I've settled on two arrow set ups for this year. One is the Easton Axis 4mm with the Iron Will Snyder Core system and the other is the Black Eagle X-Impact with the Valkyrie Jagger system. ABT!
Love it!! I am 100% one of the guys that emails him all the time, I always try to tweak his recommendation just a bit by using the blood eagles.. next time I'm finally going to full jagger system and 180s!!

I’m sold. Shooting the 180s (fixed and expandable so mixed quiver). The whole system is thought through. Expensive, yes. But the time I save by not tinkering anymore is well worth it

I can't vouch for the rest of the system, but I recently picked up some 175 grain Valkyrie Bloodeagle heads and they fly amazingly well! They may end up being my go-to head for elk next year.
Hey Brother. Great stuff. The more I watch, the more I learn, and want to learn more. I hunt mainly midwest whitetails with GT Hunter XT's. And this year I'm thinking of going with 125gr Buzzcut 4 blade broadheads. I've been a mechanical broadhead guy for the longest time. Because I've mostly had longer shots. Luckily, I haven't had any issues with them. This year I'm hunting my own property and the longest shot will be less than 20 yards, so I'll feel very confident that the fixed blades will impact where I'm aiming.

Awesome stuff here with Brent! What I think is really awesome is they fletch with AAE Pro Max! I have been testing these short but fairly tall lil' guys for over a year now and the perform spectacular with fixed heads in 3 and 4 fletch configurations. I kinda prefer the 4 fletch because it gives me even more clearance on the bottom of my scope at longer distances. Dan you need to test these compared to your Hybrid HP's with fixed heads at long range. You will be surprised how well they shoot, they are only 1.7" long but are .46" tall...give them an ABT!
A diamond jewel stick works really well. The rounded shape allows you to get into the concave shape.
Pretty interesting and informative interview from a clip of your podcast. I was introduced to this system a few years back by Brian Call. If I hunted more especially out west or even had more opportunities to hunt big whitetail here in the east or midwest I would be more interested since they are $120-$130 for a 3 pack.
They also make a really heavy 180 and 200 grain hybrid mech head called the DeathSwitch that you could try out as well.
One day I realized how much stuff in our society needs sharpening. I also realized that there are people who sharpen. I have a guy here in my community who sharpens restaurant knives, barber scissors, farming equipment, medical supplies etc. So much stuff gets sent out to be sharpened. I personally wouldn't mess around with too much sharpening stuff when you can find a professional sharpener. Then again, I'm not really an ABT guy. Good luck everybody!!
Best system on the market made .
I love these set-ups with .166 arrows.. ( I like the 250 spine victory VAPS) The problem I have with them is the G NOCK issue. My setup is 31-1/2" draw length and approx 70lbs of draw weight , I had all sorts of flight issues, narrowed it down to nocks and can ONLY USE FIRENOCKS. All other G nocks I have tried are too weak. What nocks are this system using ?

Shots these for couple years great penetration but when he says you can shoot threw a small branch and still be good i first hand experience that is not the case you hit a small branch it will deflect! But otherwise great broadhead🏹🦌
I’m a traditional shooter & have never been able to shoot anything but Douglas Fir with a 125 grain glue on Bear Razor Head. I’ve spent hundreds on heads & arrows & always end up where I started. This has been going on for over 36 years.

Get a simple strong arrow(axis) that shoots perfect for you with a proven broadhead. Then buy 5-6 dozen and shut social media off and just work on your shooting and shot placement. The end.
Deeper is always better hahaha
