I like it. It looks good and is very practical, even if you don’t plan on going on gravel, when your traveling there’s often a lot of construction and you end up on it for miles. Like the channel,keep it up. 🤘
I really like your setup. Used to own an XT600. Which is not very high , seatwise. Though I'm rather tall , I prefer low seat height in Offroad bikes. Modern Adventure bikes are uncomfortably high.
So question for you..I have my setup done on my 890 exactly like yours..the Givi crash bars..did you do research to see if the TRex would fit with the crash bars at all? In other words would you have to modify the TRex skid plate ?
It's actually cheaper to buy it from the German website than ebay. Next pay check I'll be ordering it. Also ordered the tall ergo seat and puig windshield. Same as yours. After a 7hr ride yesterday that stock seat gas to go. And I'm sure the windscreen will help alot.
@@pavechaser it's 212$ us dollar. Not sure for canadian. It's all in German like you said. But when I went through PayPal it converted it to the US dollar amount.
It’s made of a pretty thick gauge aluminum, and braced pretty good. I would definitely say it is more to keep stones and mud from hitting and building up on your intake and engine. It could take light impacts from below for sure but I wouldn’t want to be bottoming out on large boulders.
Yeah I can understand that. I believe they make a black one, or if you paint the orange black it would definitely give it a more subtle look. But like anything, looks are very subjective based on the opinion of each person! :)

The trex was not an option for me as they were out of stock with no eta so I didn’t do any further research on them

Nice video. This does look better than TRex one but looks like this one did not give consideration to oil changes. The TRex has a window with one bolt
Yes, this one has to be removed (four bolts) for oil changes

Lower fairing would be different and made of plastic - this is essentially an aluminum version of that! 😅
For me, it's too big. When I look at the bike I just see the orange plate it's taken away the beautiful line of the bike.
