Mike Armstrong, a rookie reporter at the time of the killing, explores the impact this murder had on Lalonde’s wife and two children, and the questions that continue to haunt investigators in their search to find his killer.

Heartbreaking. So sad when people die so close to retirement. Being murdered makes it even sadder.
Hope the murderer has been haunted every single day since. Someone knows who did this and need to come forward.

Somehow, these new episodes aren't as good as the older ones. A lot of these new ones are unresolved.
While I do realize that it's important to cover these cases, they're just not as satisfying to watch. I prefer to watch closed cases. I hope they go back to the older type cases.

I think it's important to speak on behalf of victims & their families cases closed or not. Maybe somesome somewhere watching can shed light on an unsolved case. It happens.

I'm glad a found this episode. I went to mac high which is just next door and have spent loads of time in senneville in off time and even skipping school. Ive heard this story before. This show doesn't do justice to just how small this borough (technically) is there's no businesses, schools just a city a hall and a couple streets with some of the richest people in the province. It makes you think why the hell would this wacko even be there. I'm pretty sure he was going to or coming from one of the few residents in Senneville.i think somebody who does or did reside there knows this sick bastard

I remember my uncle was set to retire on a Friday last year in July. His retirement party was set for Saturday evening. He went into the hospital Friday morning, fatigued. Did testing for a week. He was dead the following Wednesday from Liver, bile duct and Pancreatic cancer. No idea how he kept working but so heartbreaking he didn't get to enjoy a day of his much earned retirement. Bad enough to lose him from a disease, cannot imagine what it was like to lose your husband and father because of some punk.

It happens so often, that someone dies just after retiring or very close to it (I lost someone close to that too). And so many of these people work hard, and put off plans of travels of enjoying life to their retirement. We have to live life while we still can and not put it off. You can't take your savings when you go with you. Have a safety saving but don't just work for your savings and think 'oh I'll enjoy that money when I retire' you might not get the chance. And sorry for your loss.

Sadly it doesn't surprise me they didn't find the killers of the 2 officers,I've watched a lot of these Canadian police shows and I don't think much of the way Canadian police do their jobs. They don't seem to make the right enquiries and they're no where near aggressive enough when looking for murderers, they seem to look for the easy way instead of doing the hard work.
