Cheap Handling Fix otherwise known as CHF. Applies to Ford V10 class A motorhomes with the F53 chassis. It mainly looks at the sway bars and there initial factory soft configuration. This was performed on my 2008 Winnebago Sightseer 30B.
Tools you'll need:
15mm wrench
18mm socket
rubber mallet
torque wrench
Torque specifications 66 ft/lbs
What I recommend is that while you are working there to replace the front rubber factory bushings to polyurethane if your coach is older.
I'm not a mechanic so it took me longer to do. No power tools or jack is needed as some are saying and you only need a 15mm and 18mm sockets. The rear is a lot harder to do and not many videos show that, they only show the front that is rather easy. I haven't had it on the road yet and can't wait to give it a try....
Thanks for the video .
Ps: Where did you purchased the polyurethane bushings .
Duma nice Ngo!
And what exactly does this mod do? Just got a class A Winnebago and went on our first trip. What does this mod do? Versus a steering stabilizer?
You probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my girlfriend for the last months xD
@Reid Axel Definitely, been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D
did you have to jack the motorhome up to change the bolt?
You don't necessary jack the entire motorhome up, but rather use the jack to situate the bolt point
not recommended but you can just use your levelers or drive up some blocks
do you know the torque specs?
2:30 66 ft/lb
What the hell am i looking at.
