Thank you very much for the information!! Yes…lots of info on TH-cam…just have to make sure it’s correct / vetted. Getting ready to order a rear track bar from SuperSteer…cannot wait to see how it improves the drive ability! Keep up the great video! Thank you!!

Just replaced my rear super steer track bar and order a new steering stabilizer from Super Steer this week. Be running with their products since 2007. Great company to work with, super knowledgeable. Tommy Henderson and the rest of the family have great products and wonderful customer service.

I've said this over and over on IRV2 and been told by their local "expert" that I was wrong. Thanks for corroborating what I was saying. BTW this is the same guy that said that F53 chassis don't have bump steer. Maybe you could do a video on the advisability of putting a pan hard bar on an F-53. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

Unfortunately, a lot of F53 owners swear by the CHF as a solution. You never hear from the ones where the links broke off, or worse.

May be a reason for that... Perhaps none have broke?

So why did SuperSteer create a larger diameter swaybar and still put two holes in to each end?

The second hole is for a bracket to better connect the end link to the bar, used in the stock F53 in some cases.

"Theoretically" you are trying to sell your product and scare people away from saving money. A better public service announcement would be showing the thousands of people that have done the CHF and successfully solved the F53 sway issue.

We can’t do that, I’m sorry. Not at the expense of safety.

@Patrick Foley you are so right. I could not watch the whole video as it was repetitive , BUT he says "There are 2 holes in the front sway bar and your thought well that looks like an adjustment maybe i could create a better stability. " I did not hear him say what those other holes are for. I would assume if they where not there to use and was SO dangerous then the manufacture would post a big warning not to use that hole ! My RV book has all kinds of warnings about all kinds of things you should not do. To me also they are just trying to sell their product.

Proper geometry is not trying to sell a product. It’s a safety issue. Upgrade is better and safer hands down. I drove tractor trailer for many years and I never would have settled for the cheap fix.

I agree that the basic "CHF" is misguided, but the concept is something that can be worked out. Of course Henderson's wants you to buy a new anti-roll bar, they don't make any money on the tightwad mod. That's fine and all, but there's no reason the CHF can't work with something done to improve the geometry. If I were to do the modification, I would get some extended links from one of the companies that sell them for the off-roading market. The spring rate provided by the F53's anti-roll bar really isn't that great, so the pickup truck parts are plenty strong enough. I recently sold my F53, and actually never felt the need to change the suspension outside of replacing things that wear out, like bushings and dampers. I wouldn't say my unit had great ride and handling, I just tempered my expectations. It takes some experience to be comfortable behind the wheel of these machines, and then we just have to play in their league. It will never ride like a Caddy or handle like a Vette.

Extending the end link could improve the angle between the bar end and the end link, but the force on the end link would still not be vertical so the whole geometry would still be wrong. If the upper mount of the end link to the frame were moved the same distance as the lower link is moved on the bar then the geometry would work, but that's a substantial structural bracket modification on the frame which would make a new anti-roll bar look cheap.

Before you do anything put heavy springs in sway bars are still cheating spring then bars forget air bags
