2004 Honda CRV AC Compressor Condensor Evaporator TXV Expansion Valve Replacement
Repaired my mother's 2004 Honda CRV AC system that had a leak when purchased many years ago but I never got around to it. Should apply to other similar years. Added note is that you will need to evacuate the system to negative pressure to ensure no leaks after you are done. Otherwise I recommend bringing to an AC specialist to check and recharge the system.

Awesome video. Keep making more videos, you're great 👍😊
Thanks, looking forward to doing this for my Step-Dad's gen2 So glad the dash stays in (small consolation - hehe)
GREAT video
I think I have the same rear end. Do you know which axle it is? Thanks. Is it a Ford axle or a Dana? I'm having trouble identifying mine because I have a 2019 Winnebago on an f53 chassis
👍👍good,one question?can I do with a tablet?
Does the Lexus 2 have 2 Aros games with 8 sensors configured?
Thanks much appreciated 🛠️🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦
How long did this job take?
This is the worst how to on TH-cam. So much needed information is missing and too much information that's not needed and constantly repeats himself.
Thank you so much for the simple guided explanation.
Where sale ligh
thanks man. i have a 2012 4.7L and you showed me the low pressure port. i have a thermostat that i bought years ago when i worked at industrial HVACR . it clips right in the vent & you can monitor your system year around. i seen one for $10 just yesterday. also there should be an info sticker that states the amount of R134A that is req.'ed for your system. but as a general rule, dont add over 12oz's & dont get the low side pressure under 44 or over 54. & 64 is danger ☠️
How do I get the id code?
Great video what’s the part number? Please
Dude, you gotta machine you're rotors first. They black and magnetised. You're new pads won't have much grip on them ...
"Do you like challenges" 😅😅
where do i get the code??
HOW DID YOU GET THE CODE?
TPMS code reading tool. It is bout as much as taking it to a shop or even cheaper.
Any link ?😊
Hello, thanks for sharing the video. Could you please give me the link for the version 17.00 that you are using? I have the 18.00 and the ID registration is not the same, it requests all 4 IDs at the same time and the registration fails. It says to connect the TC and CG terminals of the DLC3 for 30 seconds but it doesn't work
Did you find a fix? I have ver 12.20.024 and I get the same errors
I am also not using a module with my 2011 Dodge ram install. thx for the help
Finished my install... working perfectly NO module needed for my 2011 Ram model. I got a toggle switch for my alpine so I can connect bluetooth... there were too many wires at the park brake for me. This video REALLY REALLY helped me a lot. My yellow wire from the truck was constant power so I needed the ACC-on which I took from the left lighter plug. Thanks AGAIN!
Hi what tool is it and what software - where to get it? What adapter do you use? also which tire is ID1 vs ID4 etc?
What OBDII cable are you using? I keep on getting lost connection to vehicle every time I try to register new TPMS ID. I can change location of each wheel but can't register new one.
Great information, dont forget to place a touch of aluminum grease on the pad springs and pivot pin next time otherwise a really good informational video. Nice job! By the way, you can use one of the old worn brake pads and a C clamp to more easily reset the brake cylinders. 👍.
if you use a c clamp like that, do you have to bleed the fluid after the caliper's back on like he says??
Hi, great video. Is there a way to program out the TPMS light all together? Can I just turn off the TPMS light so it never comes up using this software ? Also what USB/OBD2 reader did u use?
Hello, did you find a solution for that ? I’m looking for the same. Turn off permanently the TPMS light
What if the TPMS warning light is still on? I did have a full size spare for my RAV4, but I want to store it and use a donut for my spare tire. I registered 0000000 for the 5th TPMS ID, but the TPMS light is still on. Did I do something wrong?
Thats probably because 0000000 is not a actual ID number, you'll need to inflate the spare tire remove the Tpm sensor, write down the actual tpm sensor id number, then replace 0000000 with the actual ID number then the tpm light will go away. Note: Anytime a spare tire is being use the tpm sensor light will be on. Theres no way around that.
where did u get the techstream sw from?
This is a great video. Going through similar issues and I think it's my evap core. I like the idea of being sure everything has leaked out so there is no pressure to deal with.
You showed 5 on the driver's side and 3 on passenger side, that is 8. There are 9 points to grease. Also you need to take weight off axle to grease the king pins then grease the king pins with weight on.
Curious, where did you tie the brown wire into from the unit back to the truck? My aftermarket stereo wiring diagram says it's the "Key" and has a picture of the steering wheel.
key, acc or remote on are typically the same.
This video was my fix to the red wire!
Great video. I'm having the same problem. Colossal dissassemble. Thanks again
11:01 in this point of the video. I don't know what you're talking about
Agreed, what part was he talking about do you know?
Dude doesn't even know what an A pillar is called. Rambles on about things no one needs to know.
I think the 4.7 with the starter under the intake plenum is easier.
Thanks for explaining the yellow and red wire situation. I was installing a new radio in my 2010 Ram and couldn't find an explanation
Yellow is always +12v constant with car stereos, red is always switched (key on). It's the vehicles that it's all different. Best off buying a Metra wiring harness made specifically for the vehicle...
You didn't do a damn thing but talk. Waste my time.
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I need to do this and was wondering where these points are located.
Thanks for the video . Ps: Where did you purchased the polyurethane bushings .
Du ma
You did not say the size
You wasted time on your brake pads! You do not have to take them out. Just take the whole assembly out together a lot less hassle and time..
Good video I appreciate your time ...very helpful thanks lot God bless you and your family
Did you have to remove the wheel? Thanks
Thk’s ❗️❗️❗️📞but horrible film quality
Bad job. He never put grease ,never metal grease aluminium or cooper grease. He only changed the pads. No lubricación nothing.
Do you need to put some silicon paste on the guide pins bolt before tightening the caliper? To avoid the guide pins rubber from the heat of the breaks
Whats the exact name of the part, for a 2000 prerunner 4x2
Thanks for the vid brother. Its very informative and inspire. 👏
The words are in the way of a true view.
You say nine but only show 8. Where is 9?
You do it so great bro
It’s not 4x4
Thank u soo much, I was going to access the fog lights from the fender.. going from underneath is soo much better
