Elephant figurines placed inside the front door, near the home's entrance, have two meanings. An elephant statue in the foyer facing away from the door brings luck into the home. An elephant facing toward protects the house. It guards your home against all sorts of negative energy.
@@DevonBumpkin I had to look it up because I always put mine facing away from the front door to bring good luck in =) I have warding spells for the negative spirits... LOL
Did I miss you yesterday? Hell yes, I did! Was I upset? Only that I missed out on your sense of humor to help me through the day. You deserve to have personal time whenever you want. It just makes people want to see your next video even more!
10:56 my landlords wife once broke my window with a brick and they tried to deduct it from my security deposit when I moved out 16:23-16:36 whyyyyy do the sims sound so creepy. Why are they echoing like that noooooo
A suggestion for the kids' room, maybe use the nightlight "regular ol' night light" from Parenthood, since it has a moon and clouds, and for the lamp on the dresser why not the Cute Critter Light since it has a fox and I feel like it would add more to the whole nature aspect for the room. But those are just ideas, overall I love the houses all having their own character/personality of the people who live there.
A little over a year ago I moved to the US. My husband and I had to go furniture shopping and I finally understood the absurdity of Sims bedside tables. They are enormous in real life here! I don't understand why! Those awful sets of bedroom furniture always include bedside tables the size of small apartments. We still haven't found ones for our bedroom because we literally don't have enough space.
Very cozy house! I love it! I'm happy to hear you could recharge a little yesterday, and I hope you have a good week! See you tomorrow 😘 P.S. Where I live, having an elephant near the door is also a thing! My grandma's house is full of them. She always says it's to bring luck and good fortune.
hiya babes not sure if you know this but the moon lamp from werewolves also works as a ‘keep monsters away light’ for kids! not for this build obvi but just incase you didn’t know :) i also love this build so much
Lovely house. The kids room reminds me of using tester pots and painting dinosaurs on my son Aiden's bedroom walls when he was little. Thank you for that trip fown memory lane ❤
In terms of "facing the door", I vaguely recall reading it's bad feng shui to have your bed positioned so that your feet point directly at the door in your bedroom. That sticks with me, as I did that once, and I had nightmares every night until I repositioned my bed.
Hi! I’ve been watching your videos for a wile now, everyday :) every-time before I go te sleep. It always makes my day! I’ve been wondering if u would consider playing the game, do challenges like rags to riches. I think that your gameplay would be sooo fun to watch 🥰 you’re awesome x thank you for making my day, everyday
@@DevonBumpkin you might tear your hair out before you could finish playing. I know how much you love the sims 😁! Lol! It would be fun to watch though...

I knew I read this somewhere! Thank you for reminding me 😊

Maybe behind the bakery if there is a room for a small laundromat for the sims since you weren't able to have room in the kitchens for them.
This is SUCH a good idea!
I’m in love with this!!
Aaron this is GENIUS!

You forgot a toddler potty. Otherwise, fantastic as always.
Oh I did! Flopping one in post-haste
I'm glad your spring cleaning day proved restorative. Loving this build!

Haha! They were echoing because of the recording, I only noticed it in editing 😂

Did you get a potty for the toddler? I think I missed it if you did.
The house is so filled with character. I absolutely adore this series of builds

So lovely to see an upload from you this morning. I love your vision and the way it comes together. I would love to live here…

this is true... feet should not face doors, windows or closets.... =) also bad feng shui to have a mirror where you can see yourself in bed
Thank you for inspiring me to build on a bad day ❤

Your videos are so soothing to watch and listen too!
Aden I think you’d laugh your tits off at the Aunty Donna Real Estate Agents skit after that rant. They are an Australian comedy group. It’s on TH-cam
Bahahaha! I just watched it 🤣 They are indeed that C word
@@DevonBumpkin haha glad you enjoyed
Do you practice feng shui in real life?
I try to!
