@Robin Corprew I would never recommend using an uncured bar of soap because the cured soap will just be much better in so many ways. In addition to water evaporation the soap also goes through a crystallization and acidification process during the cure. This is a big reason why the soap becomes milder, harder, longer lasting and starts forming better lather after the cure time.
Woah in the tropical climate here in Singapore coconut oil definitely can't be sold in blocks like you have there .. They're 100% liquid at room temperature. I've never seem coconut oil sold in any other form besides in jars!! Beautiful bars too, so white 🤍

I adore the video it’s so pleasing. I love making 100% coconut oil myself, but adding citric acid is not needed. When super fatting you can either keep lye constant and add excess oil, or keep amount of oil constant and add less lye. The only benefit to adding citric acid is maybe that it creates sodium citrate salt which will cause the bar to harden even faster.

This is beautiful and simple soap and I LOVE it! I just made my first small batch of 100% coconut oil soap with 20% superfat. I hope it turns out. My mixture was verrrrrry watery and I even added fragrance oil, mica powder, and poppy seeds. I"m not used to dealing with soap at just emulsion because being new, I most of the times end up with it either seizing on me, or me having to rush because it gets thick fast. I used the river stone molds and it's in my oven right now for an hour at the lowest temperature so we'll see if it is a success or a fail. Still learning so I'm fine with it if it doesn't turn out perfectly. It's still soap, right? ;-P
