  • This video will also work on the GMC Sierra, Yukon or Suburan of the same years 1992,1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998. It will work on the 1999 GMC Suburban, Yukon and Chevy Tahoe. They didnt change until the 2000 model year. Hope you liked the video. The link to the lights is below. Enjoy. If you can hit that like button and subscribe. Not a sponsored Video. The sealight product has held up for a week since this was filmed with no issues. If I run into an issue I will update this and make a new video.

Great video and so clear. Your little partner did a great job for a kid👍. I did my high beam with leds but had to adjust them downward to use as low beam until I got the low beam 2006. Once I install the low beam this week I will have to adjust the light height so it will be normal again. Yes, led upgrades are amazing. Just be cautious on which leds you use because I've heard and seen for myself how the back of the leds get extremely HOT 🔥. These of course were dodge vehicles I heard and seen where it started to melt the back of the housings a little to where the bulb was loose. On newer vehicles don't forget to use canbus and load resistors to prevent flickering or possibly overload to the leds. I have noticed this on dodge vehicles and also newer vehicles. You can find led headlights with the box like shown here that have all of that included so an easy install. Hope this helps. Remember, you get what you pay for when it comes to leds. Do the research and you should be fine. Happy upgrading everyone.

I replaced my yellowed headlight housings/lenses with some jazzy prismatic housings and ordered a set of LED bulbs. Wow, what a difference. This week I'm going to install a relay and set up the wiring so that when the high beams are turned on the regular low beams stay lit. I don't know why they made it so that the high & low beam lights alternate but want all 4 lights on when I hit the brights.

How are the LEDs and drivers holding up? I feel like a lot of times, especially with AC LEDs the ac/dc converter is what actually dies.
And these are so bright you probably won't even have to clean the UV haze off. And will spend less time and not much more money!
Interesting I never thought of that storage compartment being a location for a second battery. Which I'm guessing some diesels might have? I use it for my tie down straps to have handy and half way clean if I need them.
