- Today i install the latest headlights on the market for the 88-98 gmt400 obs headlights by Movotor. and yes i did completely mess up the channel name in the intro

I have these same headlights! Wish I would have had em years ago! What a difference at night!!! Not false advertising at all in the ad on Amazon. Got mine for $240 earlier this year
I have these as well and live in Alaska! I sealed them first and then installed. Work awesome especially at night! Huge difference! Only complaint I have is the DRL's eventually fade in different spots. But the main headlights and brights still work great.

i get no perks from the manufacture, or freebies, i did pay for my lights, and i was just wanting to share something new for an old truck.
I bought these and had basically the same experience, sticker fell off one of the headlights, extremely tight fitting, adjusting them kinda sucks since you have to take the grille off and the fit is super tight.
Overall it's still worth it.
Damn those are better than I thought they would be add the less mess since the high low mod is already installed makes it a win

I thought you had the left and right turn signal upside down but I looked them up on Amazon and the two turn signals can be installed three different ways. Its cool it will fit both ways if you like the look better. I am going to get a set as soon as pay day comes around. Thanks for posting!!!!
I haven't seen any reviews on these yet I think you guys are the first. Its great that it has a sharp cutoff not to blind other drivers. The only problem is if the led fails you have to change the entire unit.
well ideally they out last the vehicle but im working with someone in the company so they have some feedback
Thanks to your review I bought a set for my '96 Tahoe and installed them last week. Made a huge difference over the halogens. I found it hard to put the grill back on and seems like theres little room for alignment. But overall i think they are aimed pretty good.
@@johnford8369 i had to adjust them far one way put on the grille then adjust them back if i remember.
Now why did i have to run across this video? 🤦♂️ I just replaced my headlights and park lights last year. Converted to LEDs, and my headlights are actually glass. But I'm loving the whole look of the lights, top and bottom. Guess I'll be putting my order in as well..😊

Great explanation in video, was wondering if the original side marker lights were deleted or used by the DRL ?
Just put a set of these in my 98 silverado. They seem fine the clear lens is super fragile i put scuff marks in it just from my rough man hands. I may take them to work and spray some clear on them.
i didnt have that issue, but its something i will let the company know about see about getting harder material
How do we get in contact with the manufacturer? Also I love these headlights I just wish they didn’t have the DRL stripe on them. I love the projector style.
I got mine put on my 94 gmc Sierra with a chevy front cap. And need help on how to adjust them without having to take the grill off if possible. Was a super tight fit
if you see where the adjusters are, there is a spiked wheel. that will interface with a Philips screwdriver, if i remember you can absolutely get to one of them. the second one takes a little fussing
Why can't we have stock looking headlights with upgraded technology? These headlights look like a city person got a hold of them.
i hear ya, but when these companys are making these things they have to make something unique to make it worth mass numbers of them in hopes they will sell

I have a 97 sierra. What i dont like is when i turn my brights on the headlights go off, so with this replacement do these do the same as factory does, or will the headlights stay on when you hit your brights? Or do special wiring done with a relay kit on your vehicle besides the headlights replacement?

I got into a accident recently in my 99 Tahoe & plan on upgrading the entire front end(cosmetics) .
I absolutely love these lights. I was wondering if anyone has any dope grilles / bumper kits they would suggest. My Tahoe is lowered already and on Rims with Radial Tires & a Blue Silver-Ish paint. Let me know please!
there is trickd toys for some bumper stuff, and billet thrills that makes a phantom grilles
Do the halos automatically turn on by turning on the truck with your headlights off or when you turn on your running lights. I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to be completely dark in the front or if the halos are forced to be on when your truck is on
no they do not turn on till you have parking lights on
Quick question does this fit on a 1990 Chevy truck and i don’t know for the bottom headlight that comes with the wires that connect with something like the Adapter
yes it should fit just fine, these fit 88-98 obs chevy trucks. the lights come with the adapters to plug right into the factory light bulb sockets.
any idea why these dont fit a 1999? Looking at picking up a 50k original mile 1999 Yukon and don't know the difference between 98 and 99. to me they look the same.
my suburban is a 99, tahoe is the same will fit just fine
How they holding up? Bought a set of headlights a few months ago and they got moisture in them and turned brown hoping these don’t have the same problem. Supposedly many aftermarket headlights have this problem

thats the great thing about these you do not need drl function, these run off the parking light circuit.

Change the side markers to clear and add yellow led bulbs
i wanna do something with the corners, but i dont really like the clears. but something is in the works

Hello I recently got the head light and I'm having a slight issue, what works is the welcome lights and low beams but what doesn't work is the high beams and turn signals, what could be the issue?
thats an interesting one. im not sure right off the top of my head. so just so im clear the welcome lights and low beams but the high beams and turn signals dont work at all? when i did mine i did find that some of the socket adapters were a very snug fit so i would first check that, and i would also check to make sure those sockets still have power so if your stock bulbs still work and the leds dont work. as i said could be a not seated plug or something is wrong. i will let customer service know about your issues.
Nice are the leds replaceable or is it a fixed unit if it goes bad
They aren't replaceable as its a sealed unit. if mine ever fail I'll try to crack them open and get to the insides. The failure would happen either in the led diode itself or the driver circuitry.
they are not replaceable. thats the only thing i dont like but i keep my other lights around just in case. but i have had them on my daily with no issues.
what about the 99 tahoe with the 5.7 will these fit?

I have a 1999 chevy suburban k1500 and can’t get the grill to go on over the new movotor headlights. I was thinking about returning the headlights but it seems that the grill might be the problem. Popped the old headlights back in and the grill went right on. Any way to solve this issue?
I had the same issue installing them yesterday. The GMC grill seems to be way more snug than expected. I ended up having a buddy push one side while i did the other to flex it enough for the clips to clear. They sit against the grill but whatever. Just hoping they last. Definitely expected a better fitting product for the price.
i had to adjust the headlight adjusters so the headlights aimed towards the outside more slide the grille over then adjust them back.
You've had them for a few months, could you do a review as far as quality, likes and dislikes, wanna hear your opinion before I buy these myself. Some people report water getting in the headlights and fogging them up. Did you experience this?
Silicone around them before installing is what I did no issue yet
life has been super busy, but i am planning on getting a night video and i will do a review on them. so far so good, no complaints.

Have you had any condensation issues on yours? I took mines to the car wash and within a few hours it was all fogged up.
Did they address the issue? I'm still on the fence...
i havc had no issues with mine yet. but they do have moisture vents so hopefully they dried up on yours

Has anybody have the issue of light not turning on? I have an issue where it takes down all my lighting system I have a 93 chevy OBS do I need a different part number? any help will be appreciated.
Everything on mine works but my right and left side amber turn signal don’t work anymore and they worked before. Any ideas? It’s all factory just plug and play on the front led headlights and the side turns don’t work?
i have not had an issue with mine, if you unplug the DRL/turn lights do they work once again? ive been working with the manufacture on issues that i hear about, so if you unplug the DRL/turn lights and they work again let me know, if not maybe check bulbs. let me know
@@2toolsandabox I tried to unplug and replug it and they don’t change. The top and bottom leds work but my oem side markers don’t now and worked before. I’m beginning to think I might have had them wired up incorrectly lol. Would be awesome if you can take your grille back off and show us a in depth close up of how to wire them/hook them up like show us all how yours are ran and if any bulbs/wires aren’t needed. Folks like us need that small tid bit of info that you edited out haha. The instructions that came with the headlights were fairly vague though and I think that’s the issue most of us are having lol. mine is a 1996 k1500

Yep
the animated drl does not come on unless you turn on parking lights. and the factory DRL mode on the truck turns the headlights on at what i would call 1/4 brightness
What blinker lights did you use??
well the DRL/turn lights as well as the headlights are all integrated , as for the marker lights there just LED bulbs that fit in the stock location that just are a direct replacement. got them on amazon

How do you get the markers to work?
the plug fitment was really tight for the main bulb plugs. as far as the DRL those turn on with the markers
Did the bulbs come with the kit ?
yes they are integrated into the housing.

I just installed the headlights. I only bought the top headlights. The halo doesn’t come on. Do you know how to make the halo come on without buying the bottom turn signals?
i had no idea you could just buy the headlights and not the markers. there should be a two wire pigtail that requires power for the DRL.
