Hi, was just wondering what the part number was for the oil cooler that allows for the remote mount oil filter? I have had nothing but bad experiences with the terrible plastic spin on filters with my Foton Tunland ISF2.8
I appreciate the videos . Good to know what the limits are and what requirements are . Its always interesting what engineering thinks . Is there a way to add a by pass filer to the lubrication or is that not necessary . Your thoughts on full synthetic diesel oil . I run that in my TDI vw . I never used the full synthetic in my 5.9 as it will last a long time just by using a good air filter and changing the oil as required or sooner
It’s 2019 and people still think a big filter means longer drain intervals, maybe try an engine bypass oil filter as well as a full flow, then you won’t see rebuilds at 200,000 because of the damage cause by the carbon from egr and high oil temps
Certainly can mate, if you look up a company called ‘filter technology Australia’, they provide cartridge paper style engine fuel and oil bypass systems with a range of products to suit sump capacity, I am an owner of a heavy diesel mechanic Workshop myself, and I’ve seen jist about every bypass filter option there is, and I’ve not seen one as simple or effective as these systems, I personally use them on Kenworth trucks with cummins engines and they stay pristine inside, that said I still change filters and oil at 20,000, but I also see life out of my engine at over 2 million kilometres which is about 1.25 million miles, I rebuild at this point as prevention but they could go further, also we change fuel injectors every 650,000, fuel is where the problems start, but definitely get a bypass oil filter if you want engine life
Are you aware of a anyone installing this engine in a US/Canadian Ford Ranger? Also love that the oil capacity is an even 5L! Small conveniences like that are really appreciated!
антон тисленко she said it’s not the permanent location, it’s temporarily installed on that bracket, you have to take if off and mount it somewhere on your chassis.

How did you make this look like it was filmed in the early 2000's

What is the Brand and Part Number of the Oil Filter that comes with the engine?
At 3:45 you can see it's a 16045 Fleetguard

China made R2.8 has different oil filters. Where to can I shop for that kind of remote mount?

That would be cool to take an early 00's ranger and put one of these in there.
А зачем фильтр так далеко отводить ? Есть же риск разрыва шланга от постоянной вибрации !

terrible motor terrible company when their terrible motor fails
Are these really made in china???? Hard pass.
hi! I am wondering will this R2.8 turbo charge fit in an 2005 ford escape?
Thank You
Will a 2008 six speed manual handle the power? In theory.
Patrick Washington 2008 six speed manual from what?
What transmission? You’d want to select a transmission that was originally mated to an engine with a similar or higher torque rating.
