I am a BLM Park Ranger, on BLM Land it's a 14 day limit in a 45 day period, after 14 days you have to move at least 20 miles (as the crow flies). Please do not leave anything trash or otherwise, do not "improve sites" by cutting down trees, moving rocks, removing travel management signs or parking on non-durable surfaces (grass or vegetation). Obey all signs they are there for your information and safety and to protect wildlife and natural resources. If an area is marked with a sign that says "Restoration Area" please do not camp there. While camping keep your site clean and free from trash and litter, this is for your protection from wildlife. Hanging your trash bag in a tree is not bear resistant, fire pits are not trash pits, aluminum cans do not burn, cigarette butts are litter. The beverage of choice for people who litter is bud light. Please, help your local public land managers keep our public lands clean and free from resource damage, we can't do it alone we need everyone's help.
Currently Boondocking on the East Rim near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We are in a campsite just off FR 611 right on the edge of the East Rim. The views are spectactular and the camping is free... The sunrise this morning was unbelievably beautiful. This is what we bought our camper for...
We just missed being at the same time. We stayed at the campground in the park which is dry camping. We almost got run over by a buffalo about a mile from your campsite. For you seniors out there. Get your senior pass to federal parks. Free entrance to the park and usually 1/2 off on the camping. Saved us a lot of money on our travels.
I stayed just a few pullouts down from there last summer and loved it. Stayed two nights. I was sitting in a lawn chair a few feet from the rim with my dog on my lap when six or more bighorn sheep scrambled over the bank right in front of us. Don’t know who was more surprised. They moved over a few fewer then just stopped and eyed us for awhile until they got bored.
The same thing happened to my wife this summer. She was sitting in front of the camper when one bighorn sheep came over the rim right at her, not 20 feet away. I think it startled both of them equally.
That’s one of my favourite things about boondocking or camping in the boonies lol the things you see or encounter while on your journey. 2 summers ago my grandson (5yld) and I camped for about 10 days near a lake. The very first night a deer (doe) walked along the edge of camp sniffing the air. In the morning my grandson noticed that same doe sleeping under our travel trailer lol. From then on every night the doe would come to camp, wander around a bit then go under the trailer. I finally figured out why the doe slept in the exact same place every night. Warmth/Heat. My trailer is a true 4 season trailer so the underside is completely sealed and there are heating ducts to prevent freezing. Well the doe found a spot where the radiant heat could be felt if she lay directly underneath it. Cheers mate and happy trails
If you haven't seen the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky, you need to come visit. Especially in the fall when the foliage is turning. Climbing up to the Natural Bridge and seeing the view is an awesome experience.

In Colorado, we stayed on a large pullout on top of Red Mountain Pass on 550 just south of Ouray, it was great and we built a large firepit there for others to enjoy. We always do this if there's not one there already. And also stayed on top of Wolf Creek Pass right on a creek, both spots in late June and only needed a little A/C in the afternoon, elevation is near 11K ft so its really cool there in June.

You know, one of the many things I enjoy about your destination interests is the fact you emphasis is on the wilderness, the mountains and forests, and the wildlife. So many channels and docudramas are loaded with tales from the beach. Although I happen to be a beach guy, I'm captivated by your accounts in the midwest. I can't wait to spend extended time discovering states like Montana and South Dakota as an example. With that in mind as as you make your way west, I'd like to give you a heads-up on a remote and absolutely beautiful beachfront campground in Northern California to consider. It's called Anchor Bay Campground, 2-1/2 hours north of San Francisco on RT1. I recommend you ask for a site as close to the seawall as might be available. There are limited spaces for rigs your size, but you'll be 30 seconds away from the sand in most instances. You'll find the area extremely quiet, the view is incredible, and you can walk the rustic path a short distance up the hill to a general store or Mexican restaurant or a Thai restaurant to just to grab a cup of coffee to sip on as you stand on the cliff to catch a spectacular coastal view. Something I appreciate, and I think you will too, is just how remote the place is. There isn't much at all for miles north or south. You can get gas o catch a Post office miles south and you can drive 40 minutes north to Mendocino. BUT.... there is ONE SPECIAL PLACE you must go for dinner and I guarantee you'll remember it forever- St. Orres. It's a old Russian-inspired resort. Very rustic, excellent farm-to-table veggies, Boar and some other exotic main dishes on the menu. THey have a good wine menu too. Again, the views are terrific and the rustic setting is memorable. Often times you'll meet the owner and chef. She's a doll and loves to chat it up. Anyway, Ii have 2 or 3 other gems I can fill you in on if you want something to research before you make reservations. In the meantime, happy travels! Love your channel!
@@nancybuehlerreid, take a peek at Jalama Beach too. It's north of Santa Barbara about an hour or so and almost totally off the grid. No cell reception, a pay phone on a electrical pole, a great rustic general store and limited grille, and beautiful beaches. Will you be full-timing?

Hey everybody! I want to share an idea I have for all fans of the Long Long Honeymoon channel. My idea is for a group of us fans to pick a spot in our area of the country and then get together there for a few days of camping and fun. It’s really just an excuse to meet other like minded people lol and enjoy the great outdoors together. Anyone who thinks that would be fun let me know and we can start planning. I happen to be in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) so I know quite a few really cool places that are free of charge here. Of course there are lots of regular campgrounds with different levels of amenities from just vault toilets all the way to full hookups but they do have a cost per day. I'm in for a. RV rally of sorts. We live in the Boise area so we could make that happen in Oregon. How about the Bend area in spring of summer? Or anywhere on the coast or Columbia Gorge.
My wife and I like boondocking around Flagstaff, AZ. Usually we get off of I-17 at the Kelly Canyon exit (about 10 miles north of Munds Park). We camp on the east side of I-17. There is plenty of trees, plus roads and trails for off-road vehicles. I have seen elk and deer in the area, but they are pretty shy.
I love to camp this way the majority of the people don't camp this way so it is very quiet and hardly anyone around you. Great video keep up the good work
The only thing you should take are photos and the only thing you should leave are memories. Dad and I did a lot of camping/fishing at Woods Canyon Lake on the Mogollon Rim in Northern Arizona. We used to camp at the 'unimproved' areas on the Old Rim Road...talk about some vistas!
I try to only leave footprints, that’s what I was taught growing up. “Take nothing but pictures, and Leave nothing but footprints”. As for memories well I like to take those with me. Cheers mate and happy trails
In 1986 my fiancee & I had gone to Denver to see her oldest sister graduate from law school. We then went to Casper, Wyoming to visit an old friend of her's. We stopped at Wall Drug for lunch on the way back home to Minneapolis and went through the badlands from the West entrance. A large lightning, rain storm was approaching from the Southwest, no smartphone or video cameras back then, so I did my best to snap pictures of the lightning & mostly failed. We drove on through the Badlands in the dark of the storm with the landscape jumping out at us when a bolt of lighning would flash. Thanks for sharing.
For us back a couple weeks ago in Theodore Rosevelt NP it was Bison wandering around the campsite and bedding down next to the trailer for the night. If you have never been up close and personal with a Bison ..... the smell is "unique" :)
Wednesday before Labor Day we went for a ride along Utah Highway 150. There are many campgrounds along there but also many overflow/dispersed sites. It has gotten popular enough the Forest Service charges a $6.00 fee if you are pulled off the road at all. The pass is good for 5 days though, so just a little over a buck a day. Unlike the area in the video this loop isn't really along a main path to somewhere else though. We followed the road on up into Wyoming to buy a meal in Evanston. I remembered you saying you were heading for Yellowstone area but I would guess since you were far enough north to go near Badlands you crossed Wyoming more to the north as well. Hope your travels have been and will be enjoyable.
Love dispersed camping. Just spent a few days outside of Steamboat Springs. Found the spot on Campendium. This is one of the reasons I bought my trailer. I couldn’t have talked my girls into this type of camping without our own toilet.
Wife and I just got back from a week long boondocking trip. Luckily tanks were large enough to sustain us for 5 days. Now that we know that it’s time to get out and find some more free camping spots.
Love dispersed camping. Went 3+ months with $38 in total camping fees. :) Free is always good and feeling free is good too. Nice place ya got there thanks for sharing.
Wow! We camped in that exact spot in July of 2017! In view of the two radio towers. It was surreal looking out the camper windows at the view. We walked out the road (toward the park) and there were several goats hanging around on the cliff ledges. Just an awesome area to boondock...
We just came back from Grand Teton. We didn't go into any campground: just east of Mormon Row is a forest service campground you can boondock in for free and it has the best view over Mormon Row and the Tetons. Yes, they limit dispersed camping in popular areas like 20 feet outside Grand Teton to 5 days in designated spots (which essentially is just a marker in the woods where a campsite is - usually a stick with a number on it). Come early, those places are in demand.
Hope you went to visit Kelly, the former County Seat until the creation of "Slide Lake". Had a wonderful summer in 1962 identifing Indian Paintbrush, lapidary, learning to shoot, rope & ride horses, hike to the saddle of the Grand Teton (found Bayer Aspirin Tins) .. . quite a camp for a pre-teen.
Wish dispersed camping wasn't so limited On the east coast. Trying to find a way to do Yellowstone and Grand Teton with some marathon driving shared between my wife and I. Probably take 15 hrs a day traveling.
Looking forward to our last few nights of camping for the season. Heading to Killbear Provincial Park next week to celebrate our anniversary. In our favourite campsite in Harold's Point Campground.

That's another thing, used to be just 1 ad and now it's 2 ads back to back. Longer videos get interrupted a few times with ads. Before you just needed to wait thru 30 seconds of an ad for them to get credit for it, now I don't how it works.

We had the privilege of living in Rapid City for 4 years and loved it there (except the winters were pretty bad). Wall Drug and the Bad Lands were two of our favorite places to take company when they came to visit. That was back in the '80s. Went back recently and enjoyed it but things have changed a bit. Still a great place to visit. Glad you got to be there. When we travel, we watch for your camper (and others that we follow on You Tube). No luck so far, but maybe one of these days...Keep enjoying the journey!
We spent a night at the Badlands, two spots to the left of where the Airstream was parked. The bighorn sheep greeted us and we met several fellow boondockers. During the night of August 14th there was a storm of epic proportions. The muddy places on the road in were now huge mud holes. We made it out in our class B but some thought they might be there awhile. Had to have breakfast at Wall Drug to calm down. We did check the weather radar.
Great advise. We stayed there twice. The second time it rained and it was really, really muddy. We sleep in our pick up truck so we got out but there were others with huge RVs...we wondered how they would. But it has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever camped.
The location looks GREAT! This was our second boon docking place ever. We were there over 4th of July. Had a GREAT time with our grandson of 12 and our dog COCO. We'll keep looking for you in a camp site near us!
I love the National Forest campgrounds in far northern Wisconsin, Michigan and its Upper Peninsula, Northern Minnesota, etcetera. The campsites are very isolated so that you are as alone as you want to be. They have privy toilets which keeps solid waste out of my black tank. They have no dump station but nearby (about ten miles or so) businesses know that and allow you to dump and refill your water tank. The National Forest does charge but the fee is minimal. Even when my late wife was still here, we just loved going to these places!!
Timing, timing, timing..... Sure wish we had seen this before we were there last year. Loved the Bad Lands and the Black Hills but didn't have a clue about this location. It is definitely going on the list for the next westward excursion. Many Thanks!!!
That's awesome. I camped at the Badlands many years ago, and it's one of the places I want to take my family to camp and show them the park. In Arizona, way up in the White Mountain, dispersed camping in the Big Lake area is awesome. We usually stay at Rainbow campground, but I want to try the dispersed camping next. I called and asked a ranger on the where, and they said pretty much anywhere you want. Just park it.
How cool, I was at that badlands boondocking spot 2 months ago for 3 days. Loved it there! I found this site called Mexican Hat north of Monument Valley that was awesome and recommend
The Elk are beginning to bugle in the park,as well as other areas. Find a nice quiet place and I am sure you will hear the music of the forest. We were treated to a concert at Bridge Bay campground by several bulls in the area.
Same 3 bulls been hanging around the campground for the past couple of weeks. They were even brave enough to bed down behind the bathroom in the electric loop for a couple of hours in the mid-morning on August 26th. Enjoy you stay sorry we missed you, maybe next time.
Traveled to this area many times over the years on my Harley to attend the motorcycle rally in Sturgis. I am looking froward to visiting again in our motorhome after our planned retirement next March. Great video with some very helpful tips on how to make the best of the area
Excellent video and information. We've Boondocked at Cracker Barrel and Texas Highway Safety Rest Stops Overnight but a little apprehensive to Disperse Camp in the middle of no where. I've always like the idea of free camp sites. At an average cost of $35.00 a night, this gets to be the most expensive part of RV camping. Thank you for the recon mission to places I want to go next.
What a incredible place! We are planning to go to the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore next Summer after we make it back from Florida. I can't wait, so beautiful. I think to see the Area in person will just take our breath away. I'm excited to cruise Florida but I think I'm even more excited to see the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore. We did Badlands & Rushmore in 2017. Badlands was awesome! We went early to Rushmore and stayed for the evening lighting ceremony. Daytime was dramatic... Exactly like pictures show. Night viewing was a waste... The lighting was horrible. Also, a little to touristo and crowded for us. That's why we love boondocking! No hordes of tourists!

We had some dispersion in Newfoundland that was just amazing in every way. The feeling that you get using your camper in this way makes it all worth while. Great video, as always!!

Hi guys. We were excited to hear you were heading for Gros Ventre at the same time we were. We've been here about a week. We're next door in loop D. We'd love to meet you but don't want to come knocking on your door and disturb you. Anything going on where you'll be out and about? (Those moose were all laying around the amphitheater all afternoon. You got in at the perfect time for them heading to the river apparently.)
We are really looking forward to the trip. We are going to Elkhart, Grand Tetons, then following Mike's 7 day adventure in Utah. After that we are going to Grand Canyon, and Sedona By the time we get home to NJ we will have been gone 8 weeks. Also visiting family along the way
The bull moose were an awesome start to your campsite arrival, and the Buffalo Gap National Grassland was an incredible sight from your vantage point. The drone footage was as always, over the top. I live a couple of hours west of the Tetons in Idaho, had planned on going camping over there this week. The weather sure has changed! May wait a week.
Now that we have left full time rving the thing I miss most is Boondocking. We had solar, aqua hot and 41 feet... The place I would recommend is Borrego Springs.

We can’t wait to try dispersed camping. Just got our Airstream, trying to get it ready for boondocking and Badlands would be one of the places we want to go. Just waiting on a longer school break 😄 we’re just living the daydream, one weekend at a time 😀

With that in mind as as you make your way west, I'd like to give you a heads-up on a remote and absolutely beautiful beachfront campground in Northern California to consider. It's called Anchor Bay Campground, 2-1/2 hours north of San Francisco on RT1. I recommend you ask for a site as close to the seawall as might be available. There are limited spaces for rigs your size, but you'll be 30 seconds away from the sand in most instances. You'll find the area extremely quiet, the view is incredible, and you can walk the rustic path a short distance up the hill to a general store or Mexican restaurant or a Thai restaurant to just to grab a cup of coffee to sip on as you stand on the cliff to catch a spectacular coastal view. Something I appreciate, and I think you will too, is just how remote the place is. There isn't much at all for miles north or south. You can get gas o catch a Post office miles south and you can drive 40 minutes north to Mendocino. BUT.... there is ONE SPECIAL PLACE you must go for dinner and I guarantee you'll remember it forever- St. Orres. It's a old Russian-inspired resort. Very rustic, excellent farm-to-table veggies, Boar and some other exotic main dishes on the menu. THey have a good wine menu too. Again, the views are terrific and the rustic setting is memorable. Often times you'll meet the owner and chef. She's a doll and loves to chat it up. Anyway, Ii have 2 or 3 other gems I can fill you in on if you want something to research before you make reservations. In the meantime, happy travels! Love your channel!

@@nancybuehlerreid, take a peek at Jalama Beach too. It's north of Santa Barbara about an hour or so and almost totally off the grid. No cell reception, a pay phone on a electrical pole, a great rustic general store and limited grille, and beautiful beaches. Will you be full-timing?

Long Long Honeymoon channel.
My idea is for a group of us fans to pick a spot in our area of the country and then get together there for a few days of camping and fun.
It’s really just an excuse to meet other like minded people lol and enjoy the great outdoors together.
Anyone who thinks that would be fun let me know and we can start planning. I happen to be in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) so I know quite a few really cool places that are free of charge here. Of course there are lots of regular campgrounds with different levels of amenities from just vault toilets all the way to full hookups but they do have a cost per day.
Ok that’s my idea now it’s up to all of you lol

That's awesome Idea, I am looking at buying an rv, like class b plus to a class c so I can easily do things like this cause I'm going to be traveling alone. How is internt and cell phone coverage in these boon docking type sitations?
I'm in for a. RV rally of sorts. We live in the Boise area so we could make that happen in Oregon. How about the Bend area in spring of summer? Or anywhere on the coast or Columbia Gorge.
My wife and I like boondocking around Flagstaff, AZ. Usually we get off of I-17 at the Kelly Canyon exit (about 10 miles north of Munds Park). We camp on the east side of I-17. There is plenty of trees, plus roads and trails for off-road vehicles. I have seen elk and deer in the area, but they are pretty shy.
I love to camp this way the majority of the people don't camp this way so it is very quiet and hardly anyone around you. Great video keep up the good work
The only thing you should take are photos and the only thing you should leave are memories. Dad and I did a lot of camping/fishing at Woods Canyon Lake on the Mogollon Rim in Northern Arizona. We used to camp at the 'unimproved' areas on the Old Rim Road...talk about some vistas!
I try to only leave footprints, that’s what I was taught growing up.

In 1986 my fiancee & I had gone to Denver to see her oldest sister graduate from law school. We then went to Casper, Wyoming to visit an old friend of her's. We stopped at Wall Drug for lunch on the way back home to Minneapolis and went through the badlands from the West entrance. A large lightning, rain storm was approaching from the Southwest, no smartphone or video cameras back then, so I did my best to snap pictures of the lightning & mostly failed. We drove on through the Badlands in the dark of the storm with the landscape jumping out at us when a bolt of lighning would flash. Thanks for sharing.
For us back a couple weeks ago in Theodore Rosevelt NP it was Bison wandering around the campsite and bedding down next to the trailer for the night. If you have never been up close and personal with a Bison ..... the smell is "unique" :)
Wednesday before Labor Day we went for a ride along Utah Highway 150. There are many campgrounds along there but also many overflow/dispersed sites. It has gotten popular enough the Forest Service charges a $6.00 fee if you are pulled off the road at all. The pass is good for 5 days though, so just a little over a buck a day. Unlike the area in the video this loop isn't really along a main path to somewhere else though. We followed the road on up into Wyoming to buy a meal in Evanston. I remembered you saying you were heading for Yellowstone area but I would guess since you were far enough north to go near Badlands you crossed Wyoming more to the north as well. Hope your travels have been and will be enjoyable.

Love dispersed camping. Just spent a few days outside of Steamboat Springs. Found the spot on Campendium.
This is one of the reasons I bought my trailer. I couldn’t have talked my girls into this type of camping without our own toilet.

Wow! We camped in that exact spot in July of 2017! In view of the two radio towers. It was surreal looking out the camper windows at the view. We walked out the road (toward the park) and there were several goats hanging around on the cliff ledges. Just an awesome area to boondock...

There's also a great dispersed camping location just outside of Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat. park.
We just came back from Grand Teton. We didn't go into any campground: just east of Mormon Row is a forest service campground you can boondock in for free and it has the best view over Mormon Row and the Tetons.
Yes, they limit dispersed camping in popular areas like 20 feet outside Grand Teton to 5 days in designated spots (which essentially is just a marker in the woods where a campsite is - usually a stick with a number on it). Come early, those places are in demand.
Hope you went to visit Kelly, the former County Seat until the creation of "Slide Lake". Had a wonderful summer in 1962 identifing Indian Paintbrush, lapidary, learning to shoot, rope & ride horses, hike to the saddle of the Grand Teton (found Bayer Aspirin Tins) .. . quite a camp for a pre-teen.

We used to live in Wall! Beautiful area. But when you stop, don't forget to go to Wall Drug and get your freshly made donut.

Wish dispersed camping wasn't so limited On the east coast. Trying to find a way to do Yellowstone and Grand Teton with some marathon driving shared between my wife and I. Probably take 15 hrs a day traveling.
Be careful. Driving so long is really dangerous. I hurt my back years ago driving too long. Took a long time to heal. Never really the same.

@@prepperjonpnw6482 It varies each time I watch a video. Sometimes it's shorter times like just now I had two 30 second ads to wait for. That's another thing, used to be just 1 ad and now it's 2 ads back to back. Longer videos get interrupted a few times with ads. Before you just needed to wait thru 30 seconds of an ad for them to get credit for it, now I don't how it works.

We had the privilege of living in Rapid City for 4 years and loved it there (except the winters were pretty bad). Wall Drug and the Bad Lands were two of our favorite places to take company when they came to visit. That was back in the '80s. Went back recently and enjoyed it but things have changed a bit. Still a great place to visit. Glad you got to be there. When we travel, we watch for your camper (and others that we follow on You Tube). No luck so far, but maybe one of these days...Keep enjoying the journey!
We stayed at the Buffalo Gap National Grasslands in June it was an amazing place.
We spent a night at the Badlands, two spots to the left of where the Airstream was parked. The bighorn sheep greeted us and we met several fellow boondockers. During the night of August 14th there was a storm of epic proportions. The muddy places on the road in were now huge mud holes. We made it out in our class B but some thought they might be there awhile. Had to have breakfast at Wall Drug to calm down. We did check the weather radar.
Great advise. We stayed there twice. The second time it rained and it was really, really muddy. We sleep in our pick up truck so we got out but there were others with huge RVs...we wondered how they would. But it has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever camped.

The location looks GREAT! This was our second boon docking place ever. We were there over 4th of July. Had a GREAT time with our grandson of 12 and our dog COCO. We'll keep looking for you in a camp site near us!

I love the National Forest campgrounds in far northern Wisconsin, Michigan and its Upper Peninsula, Northern Minnesota, etcetera. The campsites are very isolated so that you are as alone as you want to be. They have privy toilets which keeps solid waste out of my black tank. They have no dump station but nearby (about ten miles or so) businesses know that and allow you to dump and refill your water tank. The National Forest does charge but the fee is minimal. Even when my late wife was still here, we just loved going to these places!!
Timing, timing, timing..... Sure wish we had seen this before we were there last year. Loved the Bad Lands and the Black Hills but didn't have a clue about this location. It is definitely going on the list for the next westward excursion. Many Thanks!!!
That's awesome. I camped at the Badlands many years ago, and it's one of the places I want to take my family to camp and show them the park. In Arizona, way up in the White Mountain, dispersed camping in the Big Lake area is awesome. We usually stay at Rainbow campground, but I want to try the dispersed camping next. I called and asked a ranger on the where, and they said pretty much anywhere you want. Just park it.
How cool, I was at that badlands boondocking spot 2 months ago for 3 days. Loved it there!

The Elk are beginning to bugle in the park,as well as other areas. Find a nice quiet place and I am sure you will hear the music of the forest. We were treated to a concert at Bridge Bay campground by several bulls in the area.
Same 3 bulls been hanging around the campground for the past couple of weeks. They were even brave enough to bed down behind the bathroom in the electric loop for a couple of hours in the mid-morning on August 26th. Enjoy you stay sorry we missed you, maybe next time.
Traveled to this area many times over the years on my Harley to attend the motorcycle rally in Sturgis. I am looking froward to visiting again in our motorhome after our planned retirement next March. Great video with some very helpful tips on how to make the best of the area
Excellent video and information. We've Boondocked at Cracker Barrel and Texas Highway Safety Rest Stops Overnight but a little apprehensive to Disperse Camp in the middle of no where. I've always like the idea of free camp sites. At an average cost of $35.00 a night, this gets to be the most expensive part of RV camping. Thank you for the recon mission to places I want to go next.

What a incredible place! We are planning to go to the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore next Summer after we make it back from Florida. I can't wait, so beautiful. I think to see the Area in person will just take our breath away. I'm excited to cruise Florida but I think I'm even more excited to see the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore. We did Badlands & Rushmore in 2017. Badlands was awesome! We went early to Rushmore and stayed for the evening lighting ceremony. Daytime was dramatic... Exactly like pictures show. Night viewing was a waste... The lighting was horrible. Also, a little to touristo and crowded for us. That's why we love boondocking! No hordes of tourists!
Be careful not to go there the first half of August. Harley rally in Sturgis has bikers all over the area.
Incredible view! Going out west is our plan for next year and we hope to enjoy some of these experiences.

Hi Sean and Christy. We took your advice and stayed at Gros Ventre, site#5 on Sept 5-7 with our 25FB airstream. It was an awesome site, we were thrill to see those 3 big bulls at the amphitheater and enjoy the beautiful back yard. Too bad we didn’t have chance to meet you guys. Happy camping.

I live a couple of hours west of the Tetons in Idaho, had planned on going camping over there this week. The weather sure has changed! May wait a week.
Now that we have left full time rving the thing I miss most is Boondocking. We had solar, aqua hot and 41 feet... The place I would recommend is Borrego Springs.

Check out the old time film museum in Lone Pine, CA along with the Alabama Hills between Lone Pine and Mt. Whitney where over 300 movies have been filmed including old time westerns, Tremors and the desert scenes from Iron Man.
