- In this episode we make our first stop at the South Dakota Badlands for some dispersed camping. We visit the famous Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota and find out how it all got started. We meet new friends along the way, including stars of the TH-cam channel 1anchoredfam.
We talk about some of the struggles that come with living on the road full time - Harvest Hosts, Walmarts and fairground stays that never happened. Come along for the ride!

On my honor I will do my best ( to always buy popcorn from the Boy Scouts). I always ask the scout what the two stars on the Boy Scout Badge mean and if they know I’ll but the popcorn. You can look it up but I’ll save you the time, the stars on badge represent Truth and Knowledge. Your gonna look it up anyway to see if I’m right😎. Rewatched this Vid as we are heading to the Black Hills in two days. Leaving Iowa and heading across Southern SD and entering the Hills thru Hot Springs, love it out there.

Who knew the Bellagio was in South Dakota??LOL! The Badlands was our first grown up boondocking spot when we went full time in 2020. LOVED it! Wall Drug was tourist fly paper for us--right up there with South of the Border in South Carolina.😉 and yes...I say the slide prayer on the regular too. Y'all are fun to watch....subbing!👍

I hope you guys didn't try Sheridan to Greybull. You'd run out of gas if there's wind. Great drive though. Loved the video and loved how much my Geo Pro and Jeep were featured in it.
Hey Peter. We were pretty wind free. Thank God! We like your rig better than our own, so it only makes sense.
That dispersed camping area is magical. We did five nights there early September. Had the bighorn sheep walking right by every evening.
Surprised at how many people only stayed a night or two.
Yes. It really grew on us. The only issue was the wind.
