OMG! i love your video of Sydney! can't wait to catch your Sydney to Wollongong video!!!
I've used the cycplus as2 pro max for about a month. really easy to pump two 29inch mtb tire to 60psi.
Glad that you enjoyed using as2 pro max too!
Welcome to sydney and glad you liked centennial park my local bike riding spot everyday. You should ride from centennial to la perouse and back. Nice early morning ride and only 22km return from centennial.
Thank you!! Sydney is a beautiful city! Would love to try that route next time I am in town again🥳
NIce!
For any cyclists visiting Sydney. I have lived and raced and trained in Sydney for over 30 years. It is not a cycle friendly city. It is busy and drivers are aggressive and not cycle friendly. It is a large, spread out City like LA with a lot of traffic congestion. Sydney is beautiful, but as a place to cycle it is very challenging. Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra are far more cycle friendly cities. Melbourne is the cycling city of Australia. Come and visit and enjoy but the best cycling is away from Sydney.
Yeah even compared to Asia (which is way more crowded) riding in Sydney is not so fun. But I have noticed the drivers are much less aggressive if you follow the rules and also no.1 DON'T push to the front of the queue at lights (by going up kerbside) This majority pisses drivers off. Happy and safe riding, also be careful on the descent into the Royal as it is fast compared to any descents in Singapore (and big potholes too)!
7 days trip; landed in Sydney
Day 1 : city tour on foot for breakfast coffee and gelato, assembly of bikes and did the city riding tour to all the key attractions featured in the above video
*for someone living in a denser city compared to Sydney, riding in your city was a brezze. drivers were kind and more patient compared to where we are from. we also choose to do this sightseeing tour on our bicycles on a sunday over the rest of the week
Day 2 : Sydney - Wollongong (Helensburgh - Bald Hill - Sea Cliff Bridge - Wollongong)
Day 3 : Wollongong - Mt.Keira - Mt.Kembla - Wollongong + worlds city loop
Day 4 : Wollongong - Lake Illawarra - Jamberoo - Kiama
Day 5 : Wollongong - Shellharbour - Albion Park - Macquarie Pass - Southern Highlands (including Robertson Pie Shop, Manning Lookout, Fitzroy Falls, Mt.Gibraltar before heading to a lush hotel for the night)
Day 6 : were supposed to do a small cafe ride around Bowral in the morning but due to an early flight, we did an early transfer back to Sydney Airport for breakfast instead
Wrong place! You should have gone to Melbourne. That’s the Australian cycling capital.
Definitely one of my bucket list! Would love to ride in Melbourne next time!
