That was one of the most scenic cycling trip ever!
Loved the amazing views. I like how you've edited this. What camera did you use to record?
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!! I used my iPhone camera (iPhone 14 Pro) 😊
a wonderful trip, love your video😍
Thank you ☺️
here before 1k subs, keep it up, love your content
Thank you so much for this lovely comment 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video!
Thank you!!
Seems like a lot of fun to take it slow. We did the whole thing in 1 day (about 7 hrs of cycling) but would definitely have appreciated more breaks to take in the view exploring more
We found that two days would’ve been ideal! But taking it slowly allowed us to rest and fully enjoy the surroundings 😍
good vibes only ✨
Great bicycle route and can’t wait to do it. I have skied in Hakuba and Hokkaido, but this bike path is next. Hope it inspires you to get into riding and touring. You were smart to just take it slow and enjoy! We pound out miles of dirt riding and go completely unsupported through the wilderness of Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon. It is hard riding and you have your tent, food and everything you need packed on your bike. I like the sufferfest! But hotels, sweets and sushi don’t look too bad at all. From the Teton Valley.
Hope you enjoy the ride!!
Thank you for sharing. We will be there soon!
It’s a wonderful trip! We’re excited for you! Thank you for watching 😊
Inspiring! I don’t know how to bike as well 😂 but will definitely learn for this. Planning a trip to Japan this year and hoping I can include this in my itinerary. Thanks to your wonderful video ❤
Hi, Thank you so much for your sweet comment. Planning a trip to Japan is so exciting! I hope you have an amazing time there (it’s hard not to). Actually I (Hind) started leaning how to bike a month prior specifically for this trip! I had only biked a handful of times before the journey. So it’s entirely doable and was one of the most precious adventures I’ve ever done! I also recommend renting a bike and touring lake Yamanaka if you’re visiting the Fuji region, it’s beautiful and a nice way to prepare yourself for shimanami kaido. Hope you enjoy Japan 🫶🏼
I am local.
Thank you for visiting to Shimanami.
Thank you for the very nice video. I really enjoyed watching it.

May you be happy for a long time.

@@HindDjulianThank you bro
Really nice images and editing. Wish it was longer
Thank you for watching 🙏🏼
Hello! Beautiful video. Hope you can share your process how to get there and start the cycling route :)
Hi, Thanks for watching!
We rented the bikes from Onomichi (Onomichi Port Bicycle Rental Terminal 尾道港レンタサイクル). I highly recommend you reserve the bikes in advance, you can send them an email to do so.
We arrived in Onomichi the day before by train. Stayed in Hotel Beacon Onomichi (they were kind enough to store our luggage for the 3 days we were gone).
To start the cycling route you’ll need to take the ferry ( next to the bike rental ) for about 10 minutes and then start biking from Mukaishima.
The biking route is marketed with a blue line on the ground and all you have to do is follow it 😊
Hope this helps!
@@HindDjulian Thank you, this really helpful!🥰
Thanks for the sharing, great inspiration to many peoples I think. I hope to make it one day. May I know how many days are needed for such trip?
Thank you for the lovely comment! I (Hind) started learning how to bike a month prior to the trip and had only biked a handful of times before starting the journey. Given that I wasn’t sure how it would go, we gave ourselves 3 days and it was plenty! We mainly biked only in the morning and had the entire afternoon to relax, read and enjoy the small towns. We even decided to take a longer route the last day to explore a bit more. So if you’re comfortable biking I’d say 2 days is perfect. Overall it was truly one of the most rewarding adventures I’ve been on and ever since I’ve been looking forward to doing more multi day bike trips! I really hope you get to experience something like this! It’s completely doable and totally worth it 😊
Amazing trip! We did it in November 2023. When was this trip done??
We really loved it as well!! Did it in early December, gladly it wasn’t too cold 😊
How did you move your luggage from one hotel to another as I don’t see you carrying bags on the bike?
Hey! We left our luggage at the hotel in Onomichi ( hotel beacon Onomichi) and took only our necessities in a backpack while on the bike trip 😊
niceeeee
Thank you!!
