      Ahhh just seeing this 🥰 thanks for sharing that. This is definitely a journey but it's one sticking to cause boy oh boy does it feel good to wake up with the security of this TH-cam channel (and the email list behind it). Def watch my main training if you haven't yet. It'll help a lot too: Amandahorvath.site/freetraining

    This is helpful, Amanda. I'm editing a video now and it has tooooo many jump cuts. I'm going to try someone of these tips out.

    My advice is to watch closely how professional motion pictures and TV shows are edited. You'll never see choppy edits in those programs and movies!

    I never try to make edits like that, because I HATE watching other people use it! It looks tacky and very annoying. Jump cuts are only good for scene transitions or quickening the pace of a film/video story... not for editing out mistakes when talking. I would rather see video makers keep their mistakes or start over talking until they get it right.

    Am I the only one who sees the irony in people actually taking advice on how to hide jump cuts from a video that so riddled with jump cuts that it should be prefaced with seizure warning?

    • @AmandaHorvath
      @AmandaHorvath  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LOL hi, I used to have seizures 🙋‍♀️ no joke
      I considered that when making the video - if you're talking about the beginning portion, it's intentional to show what it looks like. My editor prob could have cropped in a bit more to make the crop in and outs more seamless though.
