    You can actually change the earpads. I just bought the Q35 earpads and put them on my Q30 model as both models fit together.

      Thanks for the info! At the time, everything I found said they weren’t, and I hadn’t seen any pads. Just looked now and, yep, found more than a few!

    Fwiw, the experiment would be better if the folks were critiquing without knowing the brand names. Most everyone knows the other brand names, and perhaps there’s an assumption there premium/ better simply because of the brand names. i.e. have them listen to the exact same snippets of music while blindfolded etc. Price and name brand do effect a lot of folks. 😊🍻

      You’re probably right, and in the future I might do just that. (Comparisons like these are always fun to do.) Most of these folks weren’t aware of the prices, but they were familiar with most of the names, which can definitely color perception. Still, part of the point was just to see how people who don’t compare headphones all the time react when they can. To be honest, the results surprised me some.

    Soundcore is great! I would prefer my Life Tune/Q30 over my XM5 for long period of use. It may not come anywhere close to Sony XM5's ANC (the XM5 is still unbeatable when it comes to Active Noise Cancelation), but the Soundcore Life Tune is more comfy, and feels more lighter and balanced. It really is a big bang for the buck!

      100% agreed. It really is a fantastic budget headphone, and to this day, it’s my favorite SoundCore product.

    I have ADHD. Loud noises and background noises can cause genuine and heavy distress. On top of that, I really like to listen to music, and podcasts. Ive had these headphones for 4 years, and here is what I have to say;
    Battery; I can out them on to charge for about 5 to 10 minutes, and have a good few hours to use them. Additionally, they only take about 30 minutes to an hour for a full charge, and running constantly, theyll give me about 3 days before dying. I have a habit of dropping things quite a bit, these headphones included. It was only when I had a really nasty fall that the sides broke, and they still worked. They broke completely a few months afterwards from being dropped, but that was only because of the pretty bad damage it took from the previous fall, which left it more suceptible to further falls. Once it broke, i got a new one, reinforced it with black electric tape, and its been good for years. No wear on the pads, no difference in quality.
    Here are a few of the bad things, that have no long term effect, and go away.
    The noise cancelling mode has two flaws; it places a sort of pressure on the ears that come to hurt after a few hours, and when first buying both of the headphones, it would often make a loud, high-pitched, screeching feedback.
    For both headphones, it took a week or two, and the feedback stopped completely, even though i hadnt used the noise cancelling feature during that time. As for the pressure, you get used to it within a few days, and the mild discomfort/pain leaves entirely.
    Other than that, the headset is perfect, and like I said, the problems are temporary.
    Theyre strong, good battery, and high quality.

    With the Q35 And Now The Q45 Soundcore Has won me over for sound quality over the xm3 4 5 from Sony . I enjoy the even better sound when listening to My Q35 and Q45 wired powered off . The XM5 ARE UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING ONLY HAVING THE AMAZING ANC GOING FOR THEM

    • @NorbReviews
      @NorbReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Good sound while wired / powered off is impressive. A lot of headphones fall flat here (especially the Sony ones).
      NGL, I actually really like the XM5 (review dropping this week). But I’m reeeeal curious about it vs the Space Q45 now.

    I have the q30s and once you play around with the sound settings in the app, they definitely sound really good. I tend to enjoy lots of bass in my songs and the app lets me adjust that. Plus spotifys own equalizer I can add even more bass 😂 I’m wanting to upgrade to the 45s in the future but I kept hearing that they weren’t as good as the 30s so I’m not sure if I should upgrade or just get another pair of 30s once these finally go poof. But yea these headphones are superb!!

    • @NorbReviews
      @NorbReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have a lot of thoughts on the Q30 and Q45, and have a video planned talking specifically about both of these. That said, I prefer the Q30 due to comfort. TBH, instead of an upgrade, I might recommend something with a different sound signature to complement the Q30. Consider the Sennheiser Accentum, which is the same price as of now as the Q45 (around $150).

    Did I miss the fact they review headphones but didn't compare the sound!?

    • @NorbReviews

      The 3:05 mark is where they start comparing sound. They don’t deep dive: they’re just regular people, so I just asked, “what about this” and went where they took me.

      @@NorbReviews personally I'd go with the SoundCore Q35 Or Q45 . . .
      Get The SoundCore Space Q45 I Really Enjoy It And Think You Will Too .
      I Listened To My Space Q45 Wired Passively Powered Off With No Issue At All As Soon As I Got Them And The Sound Is Amazing Wired Powered Off . . . . .
      SoundCore Space Q45 My Take
      For Wired Passive Listening I'm Using ZFold3 To Hidizs S9 Pro DAC AMP DONGLE To Space Q45 And WOW AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied .
      The Q45 ANC is really good SoundCores best yet Right Up There With My Sony WH1000 XM3s .
      The Space Q45 sound while punchy is not as punchy as the Soundcore Life Q35 In The Bass Department .
      The Bass Up Feature can't currently be used with Custom EQs So it's Pointless for my Uses Because I Use My Own In App Custom EQs .
      We Can Listen To These Wired Passively (Powered Off) And The Q45s Sound Absolutely Amazing This Way .
      The LDAC Sounds Really Good And Gives Wired Listening A Run For It's Money .
      We Lose Some Features Of The Life Q35 With The Space Q45 . Hopefully A Firmware Update(s) Will Give These Lost Functions To The Q45 . The Q45s Are Heavier With Much Less Cushioning On The Top Where As The Q35 Are Lighter With More Cushioning On Top So Comfort Goes To Q35 . I've Never Had Any Pain To To Top Of My Head Though Despite The Q45 Having Less Cushioning So No Complaints There .
      Both Q35 And Q45 Have Excellent Sound With The Q45 Punching Hard And The Q35 Punching Harder .
      I Enjoy Them Both . Amazon Had Q35 111 Dollars With Discounts And Q45 129 dollars With Discounts . Not Sure If Discounts Still Active Now But $149.00 For Q45 Is Still A Bargain For Such An AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied Headphone .
      You Can Turn Up The Q45s Bass Using Custom EQs But Nothing I've Done Has Made The Q45s As Punchy As The Q35s .
      For Most I Think You'll Be More Than Happy With The Q45s Bass . I Know I Am .
      A Blue Variant And A White Variant Are Said To Be Forthcoming So I'll Most Def Be Snagging Them In White . THE Q45 HAVE BECOME MY DAILY HEADPHONES AND AS IM IN MY CAR RIGHT NOT THEY ARE TO MY RIGHT . THESE REALLY ARE SOUNDCORES BEST LOOKING HEADPHONES YET .

    Could someone help me with headphones? My sister offered to give me a Cystereo Lava or Soundcore Life Q30. I would love to know which is the better headphones. Technically and sound. If only I could afford excellent headphones, but can't afford it. Music is my EVERYTHING. I started playing piano at age 7, later drums and vocals. I was 16 in 1973. The tunes in my car? A boom box in the back seat. I never used headphones until a few years ago. Yes, I'm an idiot. Thanks for this video and hopefully steering me in the right direction.
