She also has very distinct marking on her fur but can’t believe how their faces look so similar like they could be related or something 😂 I came across your video by accident and this was exactly what I was looking for! The Blues are so laid back and passive, ours is just over 18 months now and has started to put on more muscle even though we keep an eye on her diet. I think you need another to keep her company.

We were also worried about this but she actually loves water from a bowl. She does have a fountain and also loves it. She sits by it and waits for us to turn it on. I would start with a bowl and after a while introduce the fountain if you want to.

That is exciting! It is entirely up to you, they both have pros and cons. They are obviously carnivorous, so enjoy wet food (this is often their preference). Just make sure it says the meat it has in it and not 'meat derivatives, as that means it is low quality. We now use Hi Life wet food and she loves it. Dried food is convenient and is good for getting plaque off their teeth, it generally has added minerals and vitamins too. We go for a mixture of both, to get the best of both worlds.
I feed mine just dry, every now and then they'll have chicken or a treat but they don't crave it and never turn their nose up at biscuit's ...their teeth are in very good condition as of this.
Hello, may I ask was you kitten hyperactive when she was small like around 3 months? If yes, did she calm down? My boy is a blue bsh and is three months old. He is hyperactive and jumps from one couch to another lol. I’m hoping once he is mature he will calm down. 😭
Do you have to clean her eyes at all? I’ve noticed my lilac bsh gets eye crust and it’s starting to stain the fur on the inner corners of her eyes. I’ve been told they’re susceptible to it as they’re a lighter shade of bsh. I’ve only just got her and her blue sister and they’re booked in for checkup on Thursday but just thought I’d ask a fellow cat parent x
Hi 🙂We actually clean her eyes every day, just by removing the dried bits and haven’t noticed any stains. However when she was small, she did used to have red, watery eyes so the vet gave her some antibiotics and it was never a problem again. I think it was just from the litter and then accidentally cleaning her own eyes after using the bathroom. Good luck with your new babies! 🐾

I know there are treatments for the staining and once it goes 🙏🏽 I will keep on top of the eye cleaning, she really doesn’t mind it either 🥰 also love your balcony, have been looking into building a catio myself too, yours looks awesome 👏🏽

Please check on ingredients in royal canin even if its expensive its not great. Go and check by yourself how much meat its in comparing to seriously good from pets at home If you don't like it try lily's kitchen or raw diet . Greetings !
We have scratch posts all around the house and she doesn’t actually scratch anything else but she does shed a fair bit, however the hair is very fine, so it’s not so noticeable 🙂
Thanks for your question, I wouldn't be able to leave her alone if I travel, I would feel too bad and she loves human attention. So I always ask someone to look after her :)
