The problem with Muslims these days is that most don't know the fundamentals of their faith. Its more a cultural thing rather then an actual belief. They say men can marry Christian, Jewish women but there's a criteria. Before anyone says oh you shouldn't judge etc It's not me that made up the flipping rules! They've been there from the beginning and for a reason! We are all starting to bend the rules like every other religion!

Christmas is major shirk and forbidden in islam its pagan festival. We have our own festivals to celebrate which Allah has decreed upon us. Respecting the culture of the country we live in is one thing and celebrating the tradition is another thing. In islam we put Allah first. By celebrating christmas you are confirming christian belief that jesus was god and son of god and all whilst in fact he wasnt born in december but spring or summer time.belief that. And also you are teaching your children that celebrating Christmas is ok so when your kids ask you mum dad if christianity is not right and jesus is prophet not god than why do we celebrate christmas? I will leave that for you parents to answer your kids. Also if your one of those "only Allah can judge us" when simply someone is telling you that its haram than i leave you to answer to Allah as to when he asks you that whilst i forbade christmas than why did you celebrate it. The prophets of Allah were most fearing when they be judged by Allah so yeah if you one of those only Allah to judge us than yes we leave it to Allah to judge you and see if you are able to answer to Allah. I dont care anyone come up to me reply that im the haram police and for those "only Allah can judge me" trust me i dont care im waiting for your replies and happy to reply. We are living in todays society were everything is accepted and haram turned to halal and where if some one sayschristmas is haram people get offended and start attacking you. In saying all this its because i not only care for myself as a muslim but also for ummah. I know im not perfect and im always open to people correct me regarding islam and as human being in general but i know my basics as a muslim that christmas is haram and shirk and where i see my fellow muslims celebrate. As human and as muslim i love this couple their family they are my brother and sister. Now i end this in hope inshaAllah that the couple learn something about christmas it is haram and shirk and not to take personally. May Allah forgive us and guide us all to right path Aameen.
