Thank you so much!! She is a absolute beautiful cat. She's getting a little cheeky recently jumping onto our kitchen counter, but she is so affectionate, loves laying on me or sitting beside me when we watch movies. :)
Mine too ♥️ 10th of July is the lucky day! Soo excited. My husband firstly didn't want cat, but now is super in love with her and want all the best for her. So he design homemade wc (1000eur 😳) and her bed from France. So she will be our little princess. My son ask everyday when will be here 😁😁😁
I’ve been looking for these kinds of videos and it makes me wonder “why does the kitten get used to the adopters so fast?” Because I got my little guy yesterday and all he’s doing is hiding hissing and running away
Definitely both breeds are beautiful in temperament and are gorgeous. Yes our cats love to sit with us. I need to video them more to capture it :D I've got quite a few photos of them on my instagram if you want to check them out. @amylifts_ is my username. All the best in finding a cat. :)
Also, My female cat is way more affectionate and likes being held compared to my male cat. My previous cat was male and it would only sit with me on his terms. When I would pick him up and lay him on me, he would get up straight way, same with my current male cat. This is my first time having a female cat and I LOVE IT!
Sorry for the late reply. We have 2 litter trays. Both kittens adapted well using the same trays. We only have 1 area in our town house to be able to keep the litter trays, and the cats have access to it at all times and don't mind them being in the same room. We do empty frequently also :)
They do tend to shed a lot and need to be brushed regularly. That may mean once a week, or a few times a week. Apparently they have baby fur for the first year or just over, so they can shed more during that time. I'd suggest to stay on top of it to remove hair that comes out easily.
Please don’t ever pick a kitten or cat up with only one hand around its middle and leaving its hind legs dangling and unsupported. It is alarming and very uncomfortable for the animal. Always put your other hand under its back feet as you lift it.
Thanks for your comment J M :) I will definitely take that on board. I do usually use two hands and support them when picking them up, but will definitely be mindful. Have a great day :)
@@framyfilms Ruby's a lovely little kitten. Thank you for your response. I'm very relieved my remark did not cause offence. Looking forward to seeing more of her in future videos!
@@jm9673 I really need to film more and make more videos for memories sake. Ruby has grown up so much. She is now over 4kg. She has a very healthy figure. They grow up so fast :)
Thanks for your comment Tony. Regarding taking my kitten off the book shelf as she began to be inquisitive, we didn't want her thinking it was okay to climb it. She hasn't ever done it since which is great. We allowed her to slowly explore the house so she felt safe and felt familiar in her own time. 😊 Sometimes when animals sniff and investigate it can be good to take them to the litter tray early on so they don't have accidents and mark their territory. Both our cats are very inquisitive, which is heart warming to watch. 😊
Lovely many years of cuteness to come, our 2 shorthairs are 15 this year, dont know where the time went
It's amazing how your cat knows how to use the litter box.
They learn it from their mothers.
Ohmygoodness, Ruby is such a cutie. Such gorgeous eyes, she will be so pretty growing up!

She looks very relaxed thankfully
Love your cat bowls

That Brit Shorthair is especially striking and lovely. Hope she's well?

I have 2❤️😍 they are the best cats
In the next few days I'll be uploading part 2 with Ruby's brother 😉 stay tuned. Did you get them similar time and were they from the same litter?
@@framyfilms they are from 2 separate litters

It may take him a little bit to adjust, but I hope it gets better :)
Also depends where you get. If kitty was outside or not raised with care by people. They will be more nervous of people and take more time to adjust
Just got mine and he's nervous and didn't want to get out of the cage from the pet transport guy. Hope he'll be fine sooner.
Aww to cute we thinking of getting a British shorthair or a ragdoll not sure yet , do your cats like to sit with you ?

Cats naturally feel more comfortable getting up to high places so a "cat tree" might be good for your kitties
We have got a cat tree. Its a really good size and they both love playing on it and relaxing together :)
@@framyfilms oh cool 🙂
How many litter boxes do you have in your home ?

cutest! also where did you get your litter tray from? :)
Sorry for the late reply. I bought it from Petcircle.com.au 😊
Did you buy the kitten from a website? If so, what’s the link?
We contacted the Breeder via Facebook. Ruby is from Chudley British Shorthairs. Would highly recommend. :)
Meow ❤😂

Although the woman in the video is attractive she does come across as quite controlling, look how she tries to stop her kitten from being inquisitive.
Pretty weird comment mate.
