AMEN to that. I was born in 1967, and am so blessed to have grown up as a kid, and teenager during these two decades. Only I wish for a time capsule for just 1 week to go back to the 70.s as a 19 year old. I was blessed to have experienced so many concerts in the 80.s, and would love to have experienced a few back in the 70.s. Eg. Super Tramp.s Breakfast in America tour at the CNE in Toronto. That would have been dynamite.
@@Anitasemp Mick Tucker died on 14 February 2002 from leukemia, at the age of 54. On 4 June 2020 it was announced that Steve Priest had died. It left Andy Scott as the sole living member of Sweet's 'classic lineup'.
I'm 54 now but I got to grow up with these amazing 70's songs. In the Winter growing up in Montana just minutes from the Canadian border, we HAD the cold. All the kids and teens and I would ice skate almost nightly at our lit up outdoor man made ice skating rink. This song was almost ALWAYS played from our little warming house.
Amazing song, great Andy...but in the end there remains the bitterness, the immense sadness of no longer seeing Brian, as handsome on the outside as he was on the inside...a tormented and gentle soul, passed away too soon...May he have peace in eternal love and perpetual light❤
Sweet's "Fox on the Run" was a huge hit in Germany and to this day much loved there with all of the biggest reunion shows taking place there. It was my favorite band of the mid 1970's as a 15 year old in the states.
Fox on the run.
The Sweet was The Sweet with it's original members... still did a great job, their voices were still strong and smooth. But The Sweet will always be Steve, Brian, Andy, and Mick ❤ First song I fell in love with 😍 🎶😎😎😎😎🎶 Thanks guys
It's funny how the song is about a small time in our lives when girls and boys used the word fox and foxy, now in 2024 nobody uses the term and kids wouldn't fully get this fantastic song, right on Andy for keeping the hair, the guy taking over for Brian and the other guys here did a great job and really seemed like they loved playing Sweets songs
Fico me perguntando como as pessoas conseguem assistirem um show desse totalmente paradas.
ironic that most, if not all of the audience is too young to have been alive when Fox on the Run was released in 1975. I can say I was there, I was 11 years old & rocking to it.
Lip this and lip that....just the fact that these artists go out and play in GDFW is totally amazing to me.Much appreciated and thank you for the effort to the entire band.
Wait....this is too good and too close to the original to be live. I mean, the lead singer sounds like Brian Connolly and the backing vocals are spot-on. Crazy!
hey these guys were the start of Glam Rock and they NAILED it!! lITTLE willy, bALLROOM BLITZ, AND fOX ON THE RUN , CLASSICS!!!! preiod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oops! Let me revise that the "youngsters" are in with the "Original Sweet". I love you, Sweet! You deserved compliments. God deserves the praise, but you deserve the credit. I love you! xoxo a fan from San Francisco, CA, USA, that is not quite the same as 1977 when this song first was released. No true that in California, that all voices are heard. Lord help us!
This was one of those cross over songs that weren’t quite pop and not quite hard rock either. What you would still hear on the AM radio stations in the 70s. My buddies and I would be listening to Alice Cooper, KISS, and then not admitting we’d listen to this too ! lol. Good times.
AWESOME. .just goes to prove the 70s and 80s had the best music of any decade... .Rock on Sweet. RIP

Amen brother. Such good times and good music. I was a bit young to know The Sweet in their glory, but looking back they were amazing.
He joined Brian and Mick...now they keep each other company and are three golden clouds in the wind...they look at us and smile, sweet...as they were❤
Andy keeps Sweet alive! Thank you!

I can not believe Andy Scott can still hit those high notes, that is awesome.

Really incredible, tight live performance. Vocals and harmonies sound amazing - tight and stunningly in tune !
Lol they aren't playing, lip synching
It's a fake performance, again
Crowd also looking hard at hot dog stand. Great night for all !
@@MarkGelderland it was actually live when it was being played, the studio audio was layered over the top, and that annoys me
