Hello TH-cam Subscribers! I'm back at it again with yet ANOTHER muffler and resonator delete! (I mean its good for weight savings... right?). Although there are huge debates on if they sound good or not, I think it sounds great! Give it a shot!
Keep your resonator on to avoid the severe drone. It sounds great with just the muffler delete guys.
Drone can be from the res delete. I’m looking to see if I get a aftermarket resonator tbh because I won’t stand that drone

I recently did a resonator + muffler delete on my 2019 Civic Si. The first week, the drone was so bad that I was about to drive to the muffler shop so they can put my car back to stock, but I told myself to suck it up and now it's been 3 weeks and I'm either getting used to drone/liking it or the car has had time to break in with the new weld that the drone has subsided. At any rate, I love the aggressive sound and I feel like it really matches the sporty look of the Si. Just wanted to hear your opinion...did the drone subside a bit in your car? Or are you just used to it by now? Is the drone still bad for you? Thanks!
Honestly it got pretty bad for daily driving so I put the stock muffler back on. But sounds so good under acceleration!
I did the same exact thing on my 2017 si and it does not sound like this I’m very disappointed on how mine came out

What made you remove the MAperformance street exhaust. I have the street exhaust on my 2020 si and although it took a few times to get it right from vibrations under the center console it’s finally right. I have to admit though that muffler delete sounds good also. The only thing with the MAperformance is that center pipe hangs a little low. Have to be careful on big speed bumps.
John Hernandez to be quite honest, it was a little too tame for the sound I was going for and I couldn’t justify that I spent $700 on an exhaust I’m not 100% content with. Of course I could have gone with the race muffler, but that’s still a few hundred. For the sound that still packs a punch and only costs $150, I kept my resonator and muffler once they were taken off so if I ever want the quiet sound back, I can always have it welded back on. Plus I can second on that pipe hanging low, it was annoying! Lol. Any exhaust clips u have?
I got a question lol did u ever delete the fake sound it makes from speakers? Reason way I'm asking its because I just got a muffler delet on my 2020 civic SI coupe and that Artificial sound makes it sound weird or do i just need to get use to the new exhaust sound. I been riding stock for almost 4 months until 2 days ago
There are videos on how to do it, but i had the 2019 which didnt have the fake sound. I believe you just have to pull a wire
Whats the drone like I did just muffler delete and drone is bad any higher at 3. Of course only at that when I'm driving hard but wondering if a resonator delete would help.

nah, I'm taking a different route with my build and like the pops and bangs better with the deletes
The only thing that let's my Honda Civic sport down is no sporty sound. The engine sound good but nothing though exhaust.
How bad is the drone ? I already had the resonator delete but it’s still quiet I was gonna make my own set up with a diff muffler but not sure

muffler + resonator delete was way too loud for me haha. Muffler delete only is perfect
Get a PRL catless frontpipe/downpipe set up with the cobra air intake and it’ll scream down the road.

Arnold H ironically, nope! Only once in my other hatchback I had, but since I had the Si, knock on wood everything has been good!
Is the exhaust raspy at all ? I want to do this but im not into the raspy exhaust
Not at all, its perfect
Thanks to the turbo there is no raspy sound
