I have a cat back straight pipe with a set of aftermarket tips. It sounds amazing there's no rasp or high tones. If you're running a factory tune or any tune with rev hang enabled it will crackle a pretty good amount from reverse up to 4th gear and sometimes it'll pop really loud if you tap the gas at high speeds. If you get a PRL Cobra CAI with the race MAF and do a MAF tune it'll crackle a little less but still enough to put a smile on your face. Nothing about the cat back straight pipe is excessive and in my opinion it is the best sounding exhaust for these cars.
So u just cut the muffler and resonator and replaced the hdmi? Honestly thinking of doing that or just muffler delete instead of dropping 800 on a full system
im thinking Remark. Not just because of the price point, but also the fact I dont want super aggressive sound. Especially since I come home at night and dont want to wake too many people up in my neighborhood.
I really like the Borla, it is probably the lightest on the market at around 28lbs from what I saw. It also isn't absurd looking. Just the $1200 price tag is keeping me from buying it.
@@DiscyBoyo3000 it has a deeper tone but it was definitely louder, not nearly as loud as when you throw in the PRL Motorsports catless DP/FP combo but like it got louder. Mine had a little drone but nothing too obnoxious. It was worth every penny to me though
Honestly, I have your MAPerformance exhaust on my list.... The race one specifically. It has the best sound and solid gains. Also looks the best, I feel as if nearly every Si I see without the HDMI has the 2 pipe GREDY style one. Yours would make my Si stand out... Just saving up some sheckles for it!!!
To me the invidia sounds amazing. The audio doesn't make justice. Everything depends on what kind of sound you like. But the invidia i think is perfect for a daily driving.
I was hyped when I saw that you guys featured me lmao, BUT I DEF love the race exhaust not only for the sound but it seems to be fairly lightweight out of all the other options which is a HUGE plus for me.
@@Kayotik96 Drone honestly was non existent in my ears with just the race exhaust, I sometimes forgot that I had an exhaust at times lol! Once you put a aftermarket downpipe thats when some drone will creep in.
I have had the MAPerformance street catback exhaust and I can more than say worth every penny.. I like the 4 tips instead of having the open space from just having two and the sound is an amazing difference.. louder but still not to douchbag level. Combined with my other bolt-ons makes the car so much better
Exhausts are never "big bang for you buck." It's more about sound and looks, than power (bang). It's usually the last item on the list for bang for your buck. [intake first, downpipe next, tune third, flex fuel kit after that, tires, and possibly wheels after/with that, then exhaust.] I'd buy the one that gives the most power, which means the larger the better. Sounds like the MAP Race exhaust might fit the bill, but need more data to know for sure.
Love my magnaflow!! Deep and not too loud. Great for California. Loud enough to be scared around cops , but so far haven’t been bothered. Do remeber videos don’t do justice for the sound of exhaust. But love my magnaflow.
Whoops! Our scales weren't calibrated properly 😂 The Remark exhaust weighs in around 30lbs instead of the 89lbs shipping weight we have listed in the video! Which exhaust is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below 👇
@@EM3RALD0C1TY when I search up exhausts for hatchback that are in the video they don’t have them they have other brands and I’m sure I can’t use an exhaust that says it for a coupe you know
Will these exhausts work on a 2019 Civic sport? I know they both use the HDMI-like exhaust from the factory, but I am unaware if there are sport-specific exhausts or if they are interchangeable. Thanks in advance
Greddy is the way to go! It’s clean and quiet. Superior company. Barely any drone. Sounds good from the outside....... muffler delete sounds sloppy and it ranges in drone in pitch... Stock gives no feeling of a manual sound.... Greddy is the way to go
i installed the maperformance exhaust but i am skeptical on lowering my car because of the way the rear of the exhaust angles towards the ground. any advice?
I have a 10 gen si ...and can't see spending close to a $1000 bucks on an exhaust for these cars... unlike the previous Honda's engines this engine just does not have that "cool" sound no matter what you put on it . Plus to gain only a few hp its just not worth it ... for a few bucks keep the middle resonator and cut off the the rear mufflers.. ( cost $50 bucks at your local muffler shop) ... the real power gains from the exhaust system is going to be the down pipe ... .. and a ktune which all can be done for the price of one of these exhaust systems ....
@@maldo72 Nah not really - you’ll always get some drone aftermarket but Martelius did a really good job - they promise no drone at highway cruising speed. I daily my FK8 and ive has no issues and it sounds wicked - almost V8 like😂

Our MAP race version has no mufflers, so that would be the least restrictive. We cannot guarantee it will pass state inspection because it varies so much state to state. If the only modification is the catback you should be fine though!
should i go for blue tips or polished tips for the race exhaust? will it affect performance? and will 3 bolt flange or v flange affect the performance too?
The color of the tips is purely cosmetic, whatever suits your style best! The flange will also not affect performance, but should be chosen to match your front pipe flange.
I really like the Remark exhaust but i will need to hear it with downpipe as well before buying. Don’t want it to be too loud or super quiet lol. Can you guys make a video of it please and thank you!

Got the map catback street, the weird clamp just before the resonator Is kinda of a bad design as it apparently got messed up during installation and was causing an exhaust leak. Second is I wish I was told I needed a different type of hangar as I assumed the muffler portion hangar parts would be bent to match oem positioning so now it hangs really low, love the sound of it though and I love the quad tip design, I don't like the dual tip designs alot of the other systems have so why not add 2 more to fill the space and confuse corvette owners
Question: I think the HKS sounds the best and retains a more low profile look as compared to some of the stick out like a sore thumb setups on the list. I'm really jonesing for the quad-tip look though. Any suggestion on how to achieve both?
