would this void a warranty?
I'm telling you. I've had the turbo and intercooler replaced under the factory warranty (with a borla axle back exhaust and a k&n COI as well) All you have to do is take the @RaceXhip harness off, and there's no issue or a record on the ECU of any enhancements. I have the RaceChip GTS black, and it's amazing!

I wonder what it sounds like with the DCT farts??
I was thinking about getting RS model for quite some time but i am afraid that would void my warranty. That is only "no go" for me. There is short video of German owned of Proceed (it is cooler looking variation of Forte here in Europe) who is pushing with RCH GTS around 250 hp and 370Nm of torque on dyno, which is massive improvement. After lot of research, reliability is still a question for me, it definitely works. I'll wait for update after few months.
@@maXXik1337 that’s what has been holding me back for a while, but I figured to just take the risk and go for it. I’ve seen many people with this tune on Map 7 for years and still no issues. I’m currently daily driving on Map 5 with no issues as well. It definitely makes the driving experience more fun!
so how much power does it give?
@@yourmanzach2307 the S model (lowest of race chip which I have) adds 32hp and 56lb-ft torque

@@therealchriskim most likely they haven’t updated their websites to reflect that the GT is up to 2024 now. Common issue when a new year is added to a lineup
Same thing happened to me. Also used WD40 and haven’t had it squeak since.

Hey there! Fellow NJ GT owner here! My daily is a 23 Forte GT 6MT. Mods done so far are: Debadged, boomba short throw shifter and transmission adapter, Race Chip S, resonator delete, second cat Delete, TMS Short Ram Intake. I also had a 10th gen SI and I LOVE this car. The only car I plan on keeping until it dies. The intake was the most recent addition and it really transforms the car after. @@rhysbruh8387 I honestly have tried to do as much research as possible prior to purchasing it and I couldn’t find 1 post that had issues with race chip. I’d say as long as you don’t push it to its limits every day, you should be fine. Especially if u run premium gas

@@rhysbruh8387 you can run either. But you can definitely feel a power difference when using premium. I now daily using premium fuel

@@LYC_44 feels great honestly, not as connected or planted as the civic Si but it’s fantastic for the money (especially if you’re daily driving). With some mods like I’ve done, it’s so much more enjoyable. If you get the manual, you even get Michelin pilot sport tires and they grip hard

Idk if you’ve already gotten the new afe takeda intake yet . But when I installed mine with the $5 Bov bypass to atmosphere, I got huge turbo lag because it felt like after every up shift the turbo pressure completely dumped off. Just something to consider if you haven’t gotten the intake yet. But being you’re already using a piggy back that could be countered with the higher boost pressure that you now have and the throttle response. I’m thinking about buying the gts version of this piggy back. Definitely going to need to swap my plugs.
@@urboymk thanks for the info; I do have the intake on but currently not experiencing any issues. I’d agree that maybe the piggy back is counteracting that issues, but I also would double check that everything is sealed tight as well just in case. You’ll love the race chip, it really wakes the car up!

I've got a 2024 can I use this on stock plugs with stock gaps (I believe theyre 0.025 heat range 8). Probably only going to use map 5 (racechip rs). Also gonna get the k&n drop in filter too. Anyone had any experience with this configuration?
@@budge3281 you should be able to run it stock no problem, I daily drive with map 5 and it’s amazing. You won’t regret it!

@PetrolJuice how are you finding the Racechip I've heard very mixed reviews and concerns of having too much pressure in the rail system and having injector problems. How is your experience with it, and how are the injectors holding up?
@@jamesdallen3936 so far so good. The car feels so alive and exactly how I wish it came from factory. I fill up with premium gas and I never push its limits. I keep it on map 5 and zero complains.

I have heard people saying they have ran it on max map with no issue but idk about all that yet lol. Deff get it though i have no issues at all. running stock plugs and a pierburg solenoid with sxth BOV

The gts i bought for my wifes soul gt line turbo did absolutely nothing even after driving for a week on 3. Went to 7 and still nothing.
Interesting. Maybe something was wrong with it, there's a definite difference with it on my car. Especially if I use premium
For future reference, you should refrain from using wd-40 as it can prematurely damage rubber components. Silicone grease or oil is your best bet, it takes longer to dry out and it tends to have lower friction forces. At the end of the day, it’s your car do whatever you want.

Thanks for the video! I'm removing the red accent on the front and need to remove the bumper cover to access the clips. I was able to remove the diffuser in rear to access the screws and clips to get the red accent out without removing the rear bumper if anyone runs across this video doing the red delete. Thanks!!!!

Can I have this on my 2021 forte gt? if not, what other exhaust do you recommend to sound like this?
@@sangjunkwak4917 it won’t fit because the 2021 has a round cutout instead of the wider ones in the 2023, but I believe you can put different tips on the MBRP and then it could fit your 2021. There is also Evilla Axle back that’s great too

Do you need to use higher octane when the race chip is installed?
@@AlienImagery no need to, it’ll run fine with regular. But you’ll lose out on its full potential with power. I use regular if I know I’m going to be driving long distances for work, but I’ll use premium if I’m mostly going to be having fun. You can feel the power difference
