I hope one day an animated show on the galactic civil war happens. We have only ever gotten that conflict in comics and games.
Getting entire canon lore retconned by one show would be funny
I would KILL for an original trilogy series done in the clone wars style.
Yeah. Shame something like Star Wars: Rebels doesn't exist. **sigh**
That show is not set during the galactic civil war
It’s a shame we’ve never got a Force Unleashed 3. It would’ve been epic in PS5
I actually read a mini comic That took place after the force unleashed too It had ahsoka Talking to vader In his cell And they took off his suit So he's just sitting down next to a bed behind a On the energy field
Honestly The story is quite good And has a lot of potential. And not to mention in that Universe, Star Wars, rebels never happened So there never was a Final showdown between vader and ahsoka
Knowing disney they would probably Change his origin and make him the son of ahsoka and vader 😂😂
The fan base would lose their mind if that happened But that would be better than the entire Sequel trilogy.😅
But I do have to say that would explain Why he was so powerful in the games and It would be Cool and interest To have another skywalker and
I heard a theory During the end of mandelorian season two that is the reason Ahsoka was after thrawn was because he had her son
Which if that was true back then that would have gotten rid of the entire sequel trilogy
@@djashovelwhere can I read this comic?
@theyoutubeacolyte969 The comic doesn't have a name but The person that made it. Has a channel
I'll have to look back. And find the video So I can give you the name but Shouldn't take too long😊
I agree
Kyle Katarn, where you at, sir?!
7:41-7:54: It doesn't matter if it's the Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, Dinsey Canon, or Legends, every major war or event in the Star Wars universe is full of incosistances, confusion, contradtitions, and wacky timelines. And yet we still love this franchise, somehow, lol.
40:35-41:00: Wait, seriously? There's an actual in-universe explaination for the calender detail years?
41:20-41:24: We're getting into the end game already? I know my Legends knowledge is greatly limited, but before we get to Endor we got four more years of conflict, I feel like there should be more to discuss before getting to the Battle of Endor, and not just the Episode 5 stuff, in the next part.
Watching Rogue One is great and all, but it does pale in comparison to *living through* the set-up for the Death Star's destruction as a (mostly PC) gamer and a reader.
Honestly darth vader and Grand admiral thrawn Would have really ran the Empire better, especially with thrawn.
Would never make the political and Military Doctrinal mistakes So the rebels would lose their alien Recruits and Funding
I wish vader was alive to lead the imperial remnant
30:32 Stormtroopers? Why? The Empire was already planing to destroy the entire moon with the Death Star so why bother sending troops?
These are the same guy who had a dude send a copy of the scamatics of the Death Star to the guy who built and designed it. Imperial incompetence is very plentiful.
So how do the Death Star and Polis Massa missions from Battlefront 2 fit into all this?
When the rebels got the schematics that ultimately fell into Leia's hands, they didn't send them straight away. It was too far so multiple rebel cells re-send the message to the next until it reached her. The battles in BF2 were part of that chase, but I know it's confusing. Everyone, including the guys from the force unleashed, wanted to add the death star. Let's not even add kyle katarn to the mix, it's not actually a plot hole but when you recycle it so much it sure feels like it.
I'd say if you played both the Rebel alliance and the Imperial campaign in Empire At War then you would be able to see how the death star information was captured and the space station was destroyed on the Rebel campaign
Dude I’m loving these long videos. Thank you. In a world of tik toks, this is refreshing
@geetslys I once read somewhere a text about the possible plot for the force unleashed 3.
It starts with the Slave 1 reach the Rougeshadow. The dark side clone (from the dark side ending of TFU2) is with Boba Fett. The dark Starkiller kill Juno, Kota, seriously injure Starkiller and free Vader. After that they left the ship floating in space. A rebel search party found the ship. They heal Starkiller, who is depressed about loosing the loved ones. He found some purpose by travel to Naboo to help the revolt against the empire. They use old trade federation tanks, some battle droids and gungen infranty. After he liberated Naboo, got on intel that the darkside clone is hiding on Mustafar. He wanted to take revenge on him so he travel there. When they meet the dark Starkiller said to him that he recognised everything was wrong he done and apologies to kill his friends. Starkiller is still angry, wanted to take revenge and they start dueling. After he defeat a dark clone he need to choose between a darks side and a light side ending. The light side ending means he spare him and they escape from the planet. In the dark side ending he kill him. After that Vader arrived, but the player takes controll of Vader now and have to defeat Starkiller. As Vader you finished your apprientice one and for all. The game ends with Vader getting a holotransmission that the rebels stole the Deathstar plans and he must return to pursue the Tantive IV. Wich means this is the only time in the 3 games that the dark side option is the continuation of the story, wich comes full circle with original legend story and the trilogy perfectly with no loose ends.
Damn. A story where the dark side ending is the canon ending. Bleak.
@@crusader2112 Dark Side endings are canon in SWTOR if you play as a Sith if I recall.
@@emzonik8851 Okay cool thanks. 👍
Thanks you so much for all this quality content man!! i just discover your channel and its everything i wanted to see about star wars!!!
Excellent work. If you don’t have one already, I look forward to seeing one about the beginning of the Clone Wars.
Truly glorious
Enjoying this series, hope you expand into the books and novels after Endor.
Truly awesome content g
No link to the first video?
Tantiff please
Far out .
Will this series encompass the entirety of the Galactic Civil War, which in Legends continues all the way untill 19ABY, or will it stop at Endor? Hope the former (;
Ah yes. Finally getting to the more coherent timeline.
Question: I know that the Battle of Yavin was the great turning point in the Galactic Civil War, more accurately like the Galactic Revolution to be exact, but wouldn't something like the rebirth of the Galactic Republic or the moment when the Third Republic and the Imperial Remnant signed a treaty to end the war can be just as important to be used as the marking moment for the new calender?
It's honestly more used for us the reader to know when something is relative to the original movie, as I cannot think of any time it has ever been used by the characters.
Legends > canon. All day every day.
I'm confused is this the first video or the second in this series cuz I'm looking through your list and I'm not finding the first one???
It's a sequel to "The first battle to truely start the rebellion"
👍
Lol what happened to all the bothans that died to get liea those plans?
That's Second Death Star info.
Y Scarif? What???
Din't exist in Legends. Battle of Toprawa is its counterpart, although the plans were kept separated as the video says.
Reminder: "Alliance to Restore the Republic" was never used once in the Original Trilogy and Episode 6 had its original ending having Leia ascend to become Queen of the Galactic Empire.
That sounds like a joke ending
