    I guess that's the good thing about working on the same cars all the time, you know them inside and out, you didn't even have to check a wiring diagram lol

    Probably not Common down there in GA but that could be a corroded wire up here in the north. We gotta test right at the solenoid.

    This is whats called DIAGNOSTICS and its what you usually get charged an hour for and it can save both the technician and owners time and money knowing exactly what and where the problem is.
    FYI Shot gunning parts at cars isnt how you fix them😊

    What does it mean on a 2011 Cherokee when you have to push (cycle) the push button start three times (ACC, ON, Start) before the car turns on (foot on brake pedal) Is this a fuel check valve problem ?

  • @ljh162

    could still have an issue between relay and starter

    • @OnlineMechanicTips
      @OnlineMechanicTips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course it could. Its time to let it up in the air and verify solenoid getting the 12 volts. This a 60 second shorts video.

      @@OnlineMechanicTips But at the end of the video, you say it's a starter problem. Always contradicting yourself

    • @OnlineMechanicTips
      @OnlineMechanicTips  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@kylehodgins423 It is likely a starter hardware problem, that should be tested now. Again, only so much you can get in with 60 seconds. You welcome to finish up the diagnostic topic by way of a video if youd like. No sense in relying on me if you already know everything if you to advanced for the topic. Thats always an option.

    But you didn't check power and ground at the starter

    • @OnlineMechanicTips
      @OnlineMechanicTips  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This quick diagnosis ended with me saying that you have problems at the starter. Of course theres more to check at the starter. This a 60 second shorts video. Really the only thing left is to verify that the starter solenoid wire getting that same 12 volts you see at the test light. The starter grounded through the block.
