Totally agree on the dating option! What I do is I include the dating for items in the product ID (e.g. September 19 is "1909") Then I go back and use the search function to select all of the items that were added in a specific month to mark them down :) Hope that helps!

I know that overhead is so much higher with a brick and mortar store, especially with two locations, it must be doing so well to afford overhead etc. I'm so happy that brick and mortar stores are still around for clothing instead of just online. I've debate on starting with an online boutique first and not get stuck in a B&M off the bat.

As always super helpful information. I know it would be a pain to have this info in two separate places but until ShopKeep has an update what about GoogleDocs? After you enter the info in ShopKeep you can place it in an excel sheet with the product purchase date, original pricing, etc. thanks for sharing info with us!

Definitely use Shopify and not shopkeep. Shopkeep got bought out by a crappy company and I no longer use it
