FashNForward Daily I drove a shitty Subaru around for the first couple years that I was open. It was definitely a humbling car to drive with it’s cracked windshield and all. Invest in your business first so you can buy multiple Lexus’s down the road. I just bought a new Jeep last year and sold the Subaru! Keep in mind that this budget was for a big space. You can start a lot smaller with a lot less money! 💕

I've been using PayPal as a POS and for online sales, but I feel like they take alot out for fees and I'm not seeing the value in keeping them. Your costs are very good. I know that the SBA here in L.A. have business start up loans for around $50,000 - $150,000 . I think that many of us get frazzled in the very bare bones beginning with filing incorporation papers. Like the $70 to register your LLC and the up-front $800 for CFTB to obtain our EINs, especially when just starting out. It took me a long time because of those very beginning costs that the costs for starting up a shop looks less threatening, lol

That's a wonderful video covering a lot of information quickly! It really doesn't cost as much as I thought it would to open a boutique. A friend of mine is working on creating numerous stores and I will be partnering with her in the business. Each store will probably be about 4x the size of yours. So, we'll see how it all goes. It's a shame this wasn't answered but i myself have been researching for a small business and i came across a video of Mark Cuban in an interview saying "if you start up a business with loans then you're a moron" paraphrased of course. The logic is that being a business owner is about toughing out months of unguaranteed profit vs. Guaranteed expenses (loans being an extremely unforgiving guaranteed expense).
I started this way I have a website now after a year and in another year I hope to own a physical store . I posted my inventory on Instagram and used that as my website to begin with I met people locally for free and made the bags look really put together and cute and wrote notes to each customer that I put in the bags saying how thankful I am they support my business! I also gave small discounts to each new customer I. The beginning to get them to come back again. Like 15% off their next purchase.
Leeat Yamin just about $10 a month for a website & enough stock to get you started, as you make sales you use all that money towards more stock & upgrades for your business. You also need packaging for shipping, which they have at dollar tree. It’s really not expensive at all!

Take a loan. It's worth it if you are determined to put effort into it. You'll end up making more money from it than what you borrowed.

Start in your house, online with $500 for inventory. Brand yourself. You can start with dollar store tissue paper and bags. Move up.

I posted my inventory on Instagram and used that as my website to begin with I met people locally for free and made the bags look really put together and cute and wrote notes to each customer that I put in the bags saying how thankful I am they support my business! I also gave small discounts to each new customer I. The beginning to get them to come back again. Like 15% off their next purchase.

Leeat Yamin just about $10 a month for a website & enough stock to get you started, as you make sales you use all that money towards more stock & upgrades for your business. You also need packaging for shipping, which they have at dollar tree. It’s really not expensive at all!
