What the Palestinian people have been going through, continue to go through is thoroughly disgusting to me. And criminal, too! I want justice for them and I want justice for us as well. I toured parts of the Levant in 2019, including Israel and some towns in occupied Palestine (West Bank). In my interactions with Palestinians I’ve met and talked with, I found them to be very warm and hospitable people.
The Ferguson Missouri protests as well as other protests in the name of Black folk murdered by police in the US have occurred in nearly every corner of the globe, even in some enclaves we wouldn’t expect to find Black African faces, and where our people exist in very small numbers. Having said this, with the obvious similarities of the Black Liberation struggle in Africa, as well as here in the US and other areas of the diaspora, and the Palestine Liberation struggle, not once have I seen or heard any noted and respected historians and scholars, or other noted learned individuals from the Palestinian Community speak on the topic of “Black-Palestinian Solidarity” with the exception of maybe sister Linda Sasour.
I have only seen Black folk speak on this topic, which at times make me wonder if the declarations of solidarity by Blacks are being reciprocated by the larger Palestinian community, or is it just their community of activists who seek to cultivate solidarity with us.
Where are those Palestinian faces and voices? I’m wondering out loud.🤔

I am a person of goodwill. Please do not misinterpret my message. Nowhere in my message did I indicate that I have a neutral standing or that I did not support Hamas or the Palestinian people. In hindsight, I realize that given the severity of the devastation to Gaza and it’s people, my statements were inappropriate in this moment. Although I knew it would be seen by others, the message was directed at the host of this channel.
My remarks were spurred on by long held frustration among my own people in that historically we have carried the torch for justice for all people, but too often we have experienced disrespect and dehumanization in return.
I believe my question is a fair question because Black people here and abroad, including those who are Muslim, have complained and continue to complain about racism and other forms of mistreatment the suffer at the hands of Arabs and other non-Black Muslims. We cannot ignore this.Perhaps it’s an inappropriate one at this time. For this, I offer my deepest apology. I should be a discussion for another day, soon.
I’ve studied the history and root cause of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict and, as a result I’ve gained a broader understanding. While I’m neither anti-Jew or Muslim or anti-Arab. I do not support in any way the racist European Zionist regime that is operating an neo-Apartheid state which in my opinion is arguably worse than South Africa Apartheid. Both systems of oppression by the Israeli and South African govts, as well as Nazi Germany, all found its roots and inspiration in the former system of Jim Crow and its systematic oppression of Black people here in the US. This looks very familiar to us. It is in our DNA.
What is happening in Gaza and in the West Bank is nothing less than Genocide and ethnic cleansing, even if the hypocritical US Govt gives the green light to Israel to perpetrate it and to provide the weaponry and political cover to do it, as well as the outrageously bias news outlets in this country choosing to censor the realities and not calling it exactly what it is.
I fully support the Liberation struggle of the Palestinian people is cemented in stone.

We are an ethnic group trying to fight for our own rights within a shitty nation named the United States of America, so trying to compare us is like punching down because we don’t have our own states to be able to give support like this. Most African-Americans aren’t even in politics. Don’t be lied to, the Black people you see in politics like Kamala Harris. Islamic belief is fiercely opposed to racism.
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; a white has no superiority over a black, nor does a black have any superiority over a white; except by piety and good action.”
    - Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Muhammad repeatedly taught that racism was wrong, especially in instances directed towards black people. His close friend, Bilal, was a black man and the first muezzin. Muhammad defended Bilal from a racist passerby when Bilal was insulted; Muhammad told the passerby, “you are one who still has the traits of ignorance about him”, referring to pre-Islamic notions of racism that Muslims heavily criticized during the rule of the Quraysh, a pagan tribe. This is why most educated Muslims are strongly anti-racist and many Muslims are black. It’s also why many prominent African American figures like Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali embraced Islam. Malcom X left Elijah’s NOI and embraced Sunni Islam in Mecca when he witnessed Muslims of all colors circling the Kaaba, as equals, and realized that racial integration was possible.

What is election fixing. I coined this term election fixing borrowing the similarity it has the way price fixing works. The only difference between the two is price fixing is legal but not election fixing. This is how election fixing works: an interest group supports both major competing parties so much so that both compete to be the best supporter of the interest of the interst group and by making the voters choiceless the voters who oppose the interest of the interest group either elect the lesser of the two evil or don't vote at all.
If you oppose what America is doing on Isriel and palestinan issue you are choiceless as both Democrats and Republicans have same position except one is more supporter than the other. In this kind of situation either you elect the lesser of the two evil or don't vote at all. After all, the issue isn't the main platform during elections as it relates to foreign affairs issue. So if all American people protest for Palestine, do their voice make a difference during election? The short answer is NO. The election fixing makes the voters choiceless without violating any election law. What smart people fix election!
What if a third party comes, will you have an alternative to choose from.? It is very unlikely a third party will be formed because of this issue and even if it happens it will get trapped in the election fixing scheme. If you think this is a conspiracy theory look what was happenning (the election gets fixed) in Las vegas a few days ago while people where protesting: www.reuters.com/world/us/us-republican-jewish-donors-2024-candidates-gather-under-shadow-war-2023-10-28/
Don't stop protesting but watch out what is going on behind the curtain.

Yes, people sharing oppressed experiences should support each other, however the 2nd concern is treatment of 'Afro-Palestinians'. Not seeing images of how they're surviving the Israeli invasion despite dealing with both racism from lighter skinned or 'white' Palestinians and Israeli abuses by IDF soldiers. They're actually in the worst position.

Israelis equate anyone who oppose their actions to Nazi/antisemitism. And yet it is Israel’s ethnostate, “chosen race”, apartheid, forced sterilization of African undesirables, open air prison camp of Gaza, and invasion policies that most resemble Nazi Germany. A textbook case of the abused becoming the abuser. 💯
