Among the left in Latin America, there's been a decades-long opposition to Israel, partly as a result of solidarity with the Palestinian cause and partly as a result of Israel's role as an instrument of US policy in the region. For example, during the seventies and eighties, Israel advised, trained, and equipped the armies of Guatemala and El Salvador. Both those armies had very awful human-rights records, to put it mildly. There are many other examples of Latin American armies with strong ties to Israel that you can read about at your local library.
Read about the ACU death squad in Colombia,they were so brutal that even the US couldn't train & fund them but ethno-fascist Israel most certainly did for years. ACU made ISIS look like angels in comparison.
