Love how the foreman cat inspects your work in the crawl space below the house, then quietly stands over you as you lay the concrete; making sure that you do the work correctly. Clearly that is one construction savvy cat. And of course when off the job, he sends in his second: Rooster McBuilder.
came here, years ago, for what i thought will become a bigger hunting cabin. still here for the family home / kids adventure playground / art project / cabin. thanks for your beautiful vids greetings
I'm sure he's seen it done before, and then followed through and did his homework on how to do it right. Just like how he's a self-taught film maker, and produces videos that are so gorgeous they sometimes that my breath away. He's just a true modern renaissance man who takes the time he needs to master the crafts he needs to see his vision come to life.
love the scenic interludes , million dollar views and the stone work looks like a dream ,,,when one does not set limits , what is possible is limitless, while you may not have done this before ,,, neither did the first person their first time ,
As always, you remain a true artist, Nik. Those stairs are gorgeous, and the video stays engaging throughout... but especially those shots of the cat resting on your back while you work. Few things as fun as watching someone do real labor and a cat coming along and going "oh, you're doing something here? well, I don't understand what that is, but I'll keep you company anyway! you don't mind if I sit on your back, do you?"
Wow! What a transformation: from a wild-and-woolly man-of-the-mountains to a Nic Rijavec in one simple hair-cut! The stone-work and filming were pretty good too!
What a pleasure it is to see a man do the work to learn the skills needed to build using a material he has never used before. You are an example to everyone that has the desire to build, create and enjoy. Thank you for your hard work and hope you have many years of enjoyment from your efforts.
The level of relaxation watching this episode was super high. For me the cat stole the show 😁! Amazing work, you give me so many ideas to work with around my own house, and I thank you for that! WELL DONE! 👏👏👏
You are the “Doctor Doolittle of Nik’s mountain”! LoL I can’t believe how beautifully patient you were while kitty was getting comfortable on your back. You are the greatest Nik! God bless You… Your stone work; as usual, is of utmost perfection and absolutely stunning. Of course, I expected nothing else than another project that was done truly awesomely, beautifully and all like a picture that was painted by the creator’s paintbrush. Wow, everything you’ve developed is majestic. Thank you again for sharing! ❤❤✝️
Watching you create such beautiful things from wood, your thought process is AMAZING!❤ now with stone😮 seeing y’all are being gifted with a new baby. Family growing with the home. Congratulations on life, blessings , from a great grandma… love and prayers ❤
This dude has worked very hard for his family, he deserves everything God blessed him with this definitely is a "can do" kind of guy God needs people that can be depended on and right here building these steps is that guy! Stay blessed you have a great thing going that you built
Nik another beautiful addition to your home, for never doing masonry you did one heck of a job! Thanks for sharing with us all your beautiful work! Kevin
Impressive stonework! I felt like watching old masons guessing how to make castle walls and you were really fast at getting the knack of it. I'm sure the cat was more than happy to watch your work.
Perfect addition.....beautifly built 👋👋👋👋👋👏👏👏👏 I had a cat who would sit on the refrigerator in my kitchen who would smack me in the head as I walked by.....wonder what she was trying to tell me.....
i am so in awe of the breathtaking work you do Nik, always with so much love and care. the content, always the incredible content. thank you so much, it brings up so many memories along the way - of rocks and stairs and youth, especially youth. your cat knows how to make the most life!
I am a big fan since the very beginning, when the construction started. Everysing is put together witth a great sence for estaetic. I like the idea of a glass floor on balcony, to let as much light as possible into the interior through the window below and perfectly combines modern with traditional. The log house as such is diverse in design, so the fence on the terrace and balcony makes it a bit too busy, in my opinion, but it is a matter of personal preferences. A great project overall.
I love the way you work. Wonderful work. The front stairs are nothing less than a well mastered creation, unique and practical all at the same time not to mention the use of the stone. Kudos to you Sir for your reminder of tenacity to the stone, wilfullness, family, nature, I could go on. I'd love to see some pics of the back stairs. Bless you and your family.
Beautiful work Nic, thank you for sharing. The cat and chickens just not leaving you alone is very funny, but how you treat them for being that way speaks a lot about you as a kind person and a good father
And then you show us something different along with all your other unique talents which is a stone mason. As I watched you tinker with each chosen stone I could see that you got more and more comfortable with where and how you cut them. At first there was a mistake or two but nothing you couldn't deal with. You made it work. At the end you learned how hard and sharp to hit the stone to get nearest to a perfect cut. ..... Just as you said in the beginning it was a learning experience. You did well and it turned out spectacular! Keeping to the true artist that you are...another fine video. Thnx. A cyber friend, Me southern AZ. (USA)
Thanks, Nik. I enjoyed seeing how the cat and the chooks wanted to participate, especially the really curious one. They helped deliver some really nice steps.
Nicely done job on your steps, and it was fun watching your furry, four-legged Quality Assurance inspector watching over your shoulder to make sure you did it right.
VERY nice Nik. Love your imagination and skill. Everything you do seems to come out beautiful. I remember when it was just you and some logs. I'm glad you share what you do. Don't know what I like most. Watching you build or the nature where you live. Either way, all is beautiful. Thanks for sharing! Those chickens and that cat.....funny!
WOW , love the masonary work , for someone who has never done it before (you are very talented in everything you do) I think you would show up some of the experts . Love the very "Nic's original" and spectacular cabin build , with the help of your beautiful wife and children (and pets) . Thank you !!!!!
It was very interesting to actually be able to see someone completely learn a new skill on camera. You can see the lessons you have learned from stone to stone, getting better and better with each cut. This seems like a very fun skill to learn, and so satisfying to know that all your hard work is paying off right before your eyes. You have turned into a very good videographer and storyteller through your work with the cameras. We are all glad that you chose to film all this amazing, hard work and share it with the world. Bless you and your family, Nik
Great job Nik looks fabulous , I have just made a garden wall with rocks and stones that the farmers just pile up at the side of their fields after ploughing if they hit any .... a great source of material for free !
I like your channel ! and watch you for long time ... and i can tell you ... i RESPECT , APPRICIATE & LIKE everything you do. Work with hands i something that every person should know to do or learn; it evolves you , your brain and mind so much + hard work stops you to think about bad things , negativity in general it helps to clear your mind and toughts 🙌😍🔥... Greetings from Croatia Nick 😄🙌🔥 ... Continue making amazing content ❤️🤞😊
Great job, as all the jobs so far! Looking at the seasons filmed and judging by the time of year we're now, you must be more living there now. Hope all is well with you all! All the best!
I love that you mix moments of hard works and moments of just enjoying nature around you. It's good to have goals and work hard to reach them, but you must not let simple moment of life pass by without enjoing them. When you get old, those moments are as important as the goal you have reached.
I'll never understand how Nik does all this work and never looks or acts tired. I would love to have half his work ethic. It's not even work ethic, it's that his body can keep up with his work ethic!
I really like the way you have been consistently posting, you are a talented builder and filmmaker. I have been watching you for years.
Besides the great craftmansip, the chickens and the cat are the main characters...
Seeing how much LIFE surrounds this house... made me feel joy
That cat is hilarious and adorable.
A very attentive student!🤣
@@timofeyserikof8397 The building site manager!
A few times i noticed the cat meowing and Nik responding with a little whistle

Feline quality control. Inspector Catget demands outstanding work as per usual.
Are you sure you’ve never done this before? ‘Cause you sure look like a pro! Beautiful work!

Imagine some years from now... being Nik's grandchild, and watching on TH-cam how your grandfather built the house you spend time in... blows my mind
I had exactly the same thought watching this tonight.
love the scenic interludes , million dollar views and the stone work looks like a dream ,,,when one does not set limits , what is possible is limitless, while you may not have done this before ,,, neither did the first person their first time ,

That would be boring. I am glad that Nik is mainly a craftsman. Not saying he cannot
Wow! What a transformation: from a wild-and-woolly man-of-the-mountains to a Nic Rijavec in one simple hair-cut!
The stone-work and filming were pretty good too!
Chicken whisper!!! You and your chicken seem to be quite the pair. Adorable kitty too. Lovely stone work❤😊

The ginger kitten was fascinated with your work!

It is good that the orange supervisor left you alone and only dropped by to make sure you were following the blueprints.

Great to see you again. I have watched every episode from the start. Best of luck!

Now THAT was a lot of hard work. Anyone who has worked with stone and concrete will know just how tiring that can be. Great work Nik, awesome job!
💚 Loved the morning sun rays and tree steam footage!
My OCD wants top step centered or small stone added on right-hand side.
Nik another beautiful addition to your home, for never doing masonry you did one heck of a job! Thanks for sharing with us all your beautiful work! Kevin

There's just something soothing and calming about chickens and cats while you're working.
The cat is great, you can feel the familiarity.
the boss always riding your back? LOL to cute!
That’s beautiful Nik and your little kitty too, and thanks for sharing! 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯
The largeness of the stone steps complement the size of the house! The seasons changed. This must have taken you 6 months or so! So beautiful.
Instead Of Cat In The Hat, you got Cat On The Back!!!!! Kitty is so cute.
Krasno. Karkoli se lotite vam uspe. Bravo. Srečno še naprej in vse dobro. Tudi mladi mamici 🥰
Amazing skills... lots of hard work. the stairs turned out beautiful. Kitty loves their master. ☺🐈
The stone steps are a work of art. You need one more on the right hand side of the very top step to even it out. Just beautiful and so much work!
yes, the baby! so excited, can't wait!
Well done Nik, as usual your work is beautiful. And really relaxing to watch.

I love your Videos Nic. You are so talented. Such beautiful work.
How nice and friendly that you listen to the advice of your animal supervisors.

Salute to you Nik.
Not surprised the stairs came out so well---after all, just look how the cabin came out !!! BEAUTIFUL !!
And the eggs are free-range:) Nicely done, Nik. I love your work and energy and willingness to take on new challenges
Very beautiful work. For someone who has no experience in stone work, you did a great job.
I've been watching from when you cut the trees and wow what a job you're house looks fantastic.
That cat is so funny sitting next to the shovel at work lol :P
You are a man of all trades, awesome work
