Pro tip if you own one of thoes diamondback sax quiver any of them stick a deep packout cup in it. It stiffens it up and you can remove all the fasteners easily for different tasks. The quiver will take 2 cups so you can have spare anything and won't fall out.
If your in love with a bag but it won't clip on to a 3 in belt they make 3in spring steel clips for belts drill out the rivets and put a Chicago screw in its place. Still dosent fit but a madpack clip on holder and put whatever you want on the rail (25 dollars made in usa). And for the easy solution to impacts and a place to secure them is called a noholster it will clip on to anything under 3/8s thick even that occidental belt. No additional things on your belts clips ect and if you buy in bulk they get alot cheaper (tapes impacts anything with a screw mount). Another product that is very useful accessorie is called ripnot you can take any fabric and turn it into a tape/impact holder with no damage to the bags no mods. I use them on veto bags and tool belts to have a sturdy clip point (even a mag 77 can hang from it!).
Im also a big fan of klein bolt bags when doing formwork. Also not an everyday thing but if you end up tying a lot of bar a reel is a pretty awesome addition to have on your belt.
I agree about the drill holster. I have a Dewalt one almost identical Design but without the snap buttons it is rivetwd. Overall it ends up feeling like a waste of space and more bulky mess on my tool belt, drills already come with a belt clip anyways
I seen those cobra buckle belts on temu for like $4. The melotough brand is also the toughbuilt pouches rebranded without the clip tech attatchment for cheaper. Good recommendation
I bought a 4 pack of tatical belts on az for under 20 dollars and just cut the belts off. I've retrofitted cobra belt bucks to tool aprons or belts easily with Chicago screws kits under 10 dollars
Good stuff 🔨 🛠 ⚒️ 🔨 👍. Yea 3in occ belts are definitely big and hot 🔥 🥵 to wear and limit your accessories options. If I win you can drop it off in person or I'll pick it up 🤷 🤣. The Joey pouches are very nice quality and recently I moved to a diamondback vest myself for not so crazy loadouts. I even put a veto dp3 as the main tool bag works out well. For impact holsters especially budget rhe thoughbuilt compact impact holster is the smallest one your gonna find that has a great friction fit and under 20 dollars. Spec ops products are garbage rebrands of other online az noname tools (vet charity aside) your not buying quality there. The diamondback slingshot is a tad pricey but I like it better than most of that occidental polly stuff since it has 2 clips. Most of that clip on polly stuff if made for thr builders vests and such never intended for the main leather rigs. They do have some of thoes builders vest products you can clip on your suspenders up by your shoulders that is handy. I suggest for all you starting out and doing small things maybe not alot of tools get a occidental pocket caddy style and craft 3 pocket pouch or ox tools outback leather products like pouches. The funny carpenter has a video on the ox pouch and it's my everyday never take it off even driving tool carrier (pica pencil pb swiss insider flashlight utilty knife shaprie). The occ pocket caddy can handle a small trim square. And despite your video on tapes I still use my tajima for 5 years now never a issue mag x2 model. And for thoes starting you can add a diamondback hammer sheath to any full size tool bags without making a hole in them including occidental leather bags. Don't need to spend a fortune on that feature alone! I got endless mods and stories I could share and I'm glad your making more videos I do look out for them 👍. Keep making the magic and sorry if I cost you too much money 💰. Fyi try the occidental leather beltless retro system I bet you'll be hooked (it's only 6p dollars and you can use badgers or any existing tool belt and suspenders you got).
What’s up Antonio, love your channel, great insight on this skilled trade. I am a career changer, I live here in the east coast I am currently looking into a pre apprentice program for a possible direct entry into the union. I have a few questions I would like to ask you. Is there an email where I can reach you perhaps we can discuss over a quick zoom or phone call. Please and thank you.
My buddy has one he ground out all the forging marks completely smooth and polished. It looks like a million bucks and as long as he waxes it here and there it's jewelery.
Hmm, so I'm a young looking 41 year old attending a 'trade school' in Canada that gives me my first year of apprenticeship training. I found your channel through your 'older worker' video, where, as someone 'older' you hit pretty everything dead-on, but I think your subs and views would skyrocket if you made some at-work videos. Meaning like you're just recording and uploading parts of the various sites you're on and whatever you're doing on them.

Great product breakdown Antonio, fit for purpose, keep rocking the podcasts brother, peace
🔨 Great info on the belt sizing of the pouch.

@liamvincent8066 totally agree. I love having reel if I'm doing a bunch of rebar tying
I have several of the black fire resistant bull pin bags that just won't die. Pretty good for not leather!
@@MattHmm-rq6dn mine never failed either. Someone just stole it. Lol

Thoes nailsets are forged in Japan no China or Taiwan in there composition. A true made in Japan product.
