Thank Austin for showing his tool kit, good mention on the tape, and handles on the other setup, and referencing using that bit holder, great recycling, or up cycling, or what ever the kids say today, ✌🏻
First of all been a bit glad to see you back. I wasn't in love with badgers belt but I hate tool belts since I went with occidental leather beltless system. I too did customize my badgers by putting them on the betless retro kit with Stronghold suspenders. I like the ox tools gun clip myself it's huge and easy to hit everything. The hammer thing is easy to fix I got uxcell heat shrink purple pattern and put it over my stellto tibone 15oz slides well. I use thoes heatshrinks on my drywall tools as well that are all stainless. You can get any vynal baseball bat wrap will work as well. I too love that forged Japanese nail set as well. Glad your enjoying your bags and customize away! If your still in Portland it's crazy to think your working a hourish away from me in gresham.
Bro!! Just ordered my badger bags. I went with the trimmer set since I’ve been doing concrete layout. Don’t really need big framer Occidental’s anymore. Super stoked to have the quick draw McGraw hammer sleeve
Great video man. I also was super bummed with my Tajima tape, bought one last year and it broke within a month. On the plus side I have a badger belt too and they are amazing .
Thanks for sharing your kit and your buddy's. I've got a 25+ year old Occidental setup that for electrical mainly (pun intended). Now I'm doing more and varied things (elec. plumbing, troubleshooting, general fixin-sht), I'm constantly switching up my kit. Added Veto TP3 and TP4B. The Stabilia torpedo goes everywhere with me. For hammers, I still have a leather with metal loop on each belt. The Hilti box you're repurposing for bits, etc. works great. I've got a bunch from various machine tool bits that I use all the time. Also, carrying a sharpener is a must for me. I keep a small DMT diamond 'stone' and use it on my utility blades and knife. Those utility blades are not sharp enough when new. I've seen way too many guys struggle with dull blades over the years and end up with nasty gashes from forcing a dull blade. The first aid pack is a great addition as well.
@@unscriptedwithantonio thanks man I been debating between these and a set of diamond backs. The deciding factor was that badger can match my Martinez hammer
@@titocuevasseattle diamondback is no where near the quality of badger. I wore db’s for two and half years and I was constantly trying to make them work. The feel of them are not as premium as badger because I think db are made in Taiwan now while badger is handmade in USA. I have customs and they are way better than db.
The hate towards the Tajima tape 😂… to be fair the Tajima tape I found useful was the smaller 16ft one for millwork installation..it’s small lightweight and has 32 on it for that really accurate measurement
Hey bro .. just wanna throw it out there that we’re same age and came to ubc around the same time .. and I always look forward to your videos and I want to start a channel myself after watching your vids
If you want handles all you need is the 4 leather d ring that are on your occidental leather fat lip bags. I resued handles from my veto propac tp3 and other pouches they are the best. You can always order a 4 pack of thoes leather loops with d rings online and your good to go 👍
Finally someone admitting the tajima tapes are junk. Mine lasted a week. Pretty sure tajima uses the same cheap tape across their range with different rubber grips. Their chalk box and folding g saw are a different story.
Good recap buddy - keep it movin' 🤜🤛
Thank you for watching. I appreciate you.
Love it bro. Go Badger!
I love 'em. Thank you for watching.

Thank you, sir. I would have preferred to have austin in the video. But we have to adapt. Thank you again for all the support.
In the almost 30 years that I have been forming, I have owned many different makes of pouches. Badger are by far my favourite
I love em. Thank you for watching.

I work in Gresham from time to time. I have to try that Uxcell shrink wrap. Thanks for the tips. I appreciate you.

I totally agree. Thank you for watching. i enjoyed your review as well.
I love seeing others setups you never know what may or may not help your workflow get your entire crew to volunteer loadout pictures the ones willing.
That's what I need. I saw a similar video on TH-cam. So the loadout of the whole crew. Thank you for reminding me.

where did your buddy get the first aid pouch?
I'm not sure, to be honest.
Glad to see the method you use on this. I want to know what tec people have to say. We want to know real world daily use opinions. 😎🤗

Couldn’t tell from the video but is there a designated square pocket?
@@hwpo7197 There are 2 pockets for squares. One for a six inch and another for a 4 inch.

@hwpo7197 I really like my badger bags.
Where did you buy the white Tajima chalk box?
@@AlexMartinez-dq7un amazon
You might include links or a list we can use to more easily find these items online. Just a thought. 😊
Done. Thank you for the idea. I appreciate it.
I know this is an old post but is this the framer or carpenter bag set?
@@Greenbeantaco45 this is the carpenter bag set up.
Love it. Do you think you'll come back at 1 year with the bag and discuss longevity?
Of course.
Longevity is solid. I have diamondbacks which are really similar to these. And I've had them for over a year now with no issues.
@titocuevasseattle You really get what you pay for. They are expensive, but well worth it.

I’m really disappointed that the side by side doesn’t have an loops in the main cargo area
That's true.
Did you like the fat lip bags better than the badger?
I like them and still have them. They are bigger, so I use them for concrete. It really depends on the work you're doing. Both are good in my opinion.
