Same with you idk kinda undecided if I like it or not.. but deff turned out nice I wrapped mine in black fiberglass gonna have to redo it soon as on the forward pipe my heel has been rubbing the wrap and its starting to develop a small hole. But I like different shit so props to going outside your comfort zone! My wideglide glide is the burnt orange metallic so I’ll prob be doing again in black.

They do have it in black but save yourself the headaches ahd just buy from a reputable manufacturer, I tried going cheaper but that wrap looked awful and didn't even survive the ride home.

Personally I very much like the look of the Vance and Hines short shots, because of the nice Vance n Hines badge and the chrome tips. I think it's the only pipes that stand out from the rest. I have pythons on mine, their black. But the wraps do match the filter element

My guy I damn near cried when I watched you handle that wrap with no gloves. It's not actually titanium but pulverized lava rocks which are then made into fibers, some companies like DEI interweave titanium into there wraps but it's mostly a specialized high heat resistant fiberglass, but it's sick stuff I'm wrapping my headers and exhaust now with the same stuff

I was always told to only do a 1/4 inch overlap

@@SkidPig cause of the heat index a lot of people complain about the metal getting brittle and cracking your pipes cause to much heat is held in but a 1/4 inch overlap allows the perfect amount of heat by not having as thick of an overlap all the way through the pipes.

O2 sensors,electronic this,computerized that,hell no.I will always choose old school.Stupid simple to work on and far less expensive than taking your bike to the shop.

@@SkidPig Titanium is woven in a diagonal pattern what you have there is not genuine titanium wrap, its just fiberglass with a shiny coat. trust me bought the same stuff u did
Personally I would have used a black wrap if it was my bike but it's not so as long as your happy with it that's all that matters my dude....Either way still a nice lookin bike mate.
