- Hey guys, in this video I'm assembling and testing a 4-stroke RC engine made by Toyan.
Engine specs:
-Displacement: 3.5cc
-Output: 0.5 hp @ 11,500 RPM
-RPM range: 2,500 - 13,500 RPM

Just a moment of appreciation for that very first unboxing scene. I'm guessing it's a reversed video of the box lid slowly collapsing under gravity... but such a nice touch : )

My favorite part is seeing the little gaskets and belts being put on. Something nice about 'em!
Very nice and easy to assemble. I remember at school making a steam engine, where we manufactured every part. A little different today !

I absolutely love the "snap" of the snap rings and fittings! I would die for even the BASIC model engine but I don't think I could afford it given my circumstances. I watch every video I possibly come across

To assemble this model, you must have a very high level of thinking. I really admire you
Watching you build this was so pleasing to my senses. I wasn't half way done before I was trying to find where to order one. But I'm glad I waited. The final product was a little anti-climactic. It needed a supercharger or turbocharger to get the thrill level to where I needed it. But WELL done. I love you way you kept the natural sounds and cut the video. A#1Video!! A Wonderful Video to watch and listen to!! Wonderful for the senses. Like an ASMR Video.

A very challenging job! Love the way you did it patiently.
Very interesting. How development has come along way to producing something so small. I think of the early cars and buses, 2 -stroke for motorcycles. Some people are very much against the car and what' it's done to world economy or pollution, that's what I think of when seeing this, but it's still brilliant.

excellent, is the brushless motor acting as a starter and a generator ?
I mean when engine to be started run the brushless motor from brushless esc with the external Lipo battery and once the engine starts, it not only charges the battery but also give you DC output for external more load to put on ?
Ya forgot the assembly lube on bottom end. Is this the stolen blueprint model or the original ? Also What percent nitro? Thanks

Can this be used in an RC submarine? Can it be used as a power generator, and how much power can it generate? What are the applications for this engine?

It looks like a pretty easy installation kit to me but I've been building these type of kits , as in car models and what not since childhood and I've worked in manufacturing so I can read prints. Built a few barnfinds when I was younger and they were Cheaper!

Remember using a 2.5cc engine for a toy airplane back in the day. Was WAAAY simpler. Was 2-stroke though.
Yep. The ole .15, 2 strokes. They are still around today yet.

As a "demo" kit engine, which is what it is, probably your entire life. These aren't designed with an end application in mind. They are a model engine hobby kit.
