I tried and liked the USD, but BSD will always have a special place in my heart. Very few products can outperfom its durability!
totally agree
I’d like to know which one has better anti static properties? I have a black car and I noticed after a few products I’ve used the dust is accumulated due to finishing product.
I'm a big fan of Sonax Polymer Net Shield, topped with BSD. I've seen 9 + months on my vehicle and I live in Toronto, Canada. This is ONLY applying once. NO reapplying of BSD, for maintenance.
Polymer netshield is so underrated price vs performance is crazy!
Yes, I’ve had the same with protect and shine. Also underrated in its ability on glass. Lasts even longer.
While you advertise the BSD as having great water beading, does it provide UV protection???
Ceramic Ultra Slick is also great for phone screens. I mean You don't see smudges and it's also slicky.
God i love Sonax, you where my first detailing company that I used, it was the colour wax, easy to apply, MEGA painfull to remove but oh my the glazing effect was immense, it covered all the scratches. Oh and don't you dare Sonax to change your abrasive technology, it's world loved, don't you dare! I love Perfect Finish to much to change it. Bought 1L of it. Oh and bought those two as well, they are just to cheap and good (I hope so, haven't used them yet) to pass. Cheers!
@victoryensured7137 thanks!! Glad to hear you are loving the range!
No problem Sonax team, keep up the great work! So to clarify, I can use BSD as a topper for my ceramic coated car? It won't diminish or change the hydrfobic effects of the coating? I know Ultra Slick Detailer is safe but what about BSD?
I have both and the ceramic spray, i dilute and use the BS as a drying aid and the ceramic as a topper. I love em all including the bottles ,the only thing if I may suggest is if possible if Sonax can make adjustments in the nozzle spray to have more atomization of the product.
The ultra slick is thinner so sprays better. Because Bsd is thicker, it won't give a mist, but there is no real advantage to a mist as you are spreading with a towel anyway
Do they both give the same amount of protection. And if so how long please?
@404notfound..... they aren't designed as stand alone coatings. However, they will give 2-3 months protection. My personal experience is Brilliant Shine Detailer is better durability wise BUT I have had alot of guys tell me the Ceramic detailer has lasted longer so I think there are some variables like paint condition, paint type and other coatings already present.
For a new car detailer, where does Sonax Spray N Seal come in here if these provide months of protection and beading as well?
@bpille3113 it's really about personal preference and speed, spray and seal is so much quicker to use than the detailing sprays, as you aren't wiping the whole car over, but then spray and seal has lower durability.
I would love some tips about the PNS, what kind of applicatortowel is best to have a smooth as possible application because the product is pretty “grabby” and also what kind of towel to remove the residue. Would love you tips and tricks for this.
Love the sonax products! Very underrated in the detailing industry
Thanks!! We have a video on polymer netshield here th-cam.com/video/4timyCbrvKc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_w6hDhVuV2cZScu-
But thats a good idea on a tips video
Whenever I used PNS I would use BSD to aid removing it. Works great.
I never knew bsd could be used as a topper or drying aid for a ceramic coating. I thought only the ceramic ultra slick detailer could but glad to know bsd can be. Great video and well explained. Looking forward to seeing more. Just as a final thought, do Sonax have a ceramic spray and rinse sealant?
Yeah Bsd is great at topping up existing coatings. We have Spray and Seal, which is coming into the Xtreme Ceramic range, less is more with this product though only 1 squirt per panel. We also have Profiline Hypercoat coming this year which is 1ltr concentrate rinse/drying aid.
I need some guidance, Sonax team! Next week I will be having my car polished and coated in Sonax CC Evo. Car is in BMW's british racing green color - actually a base color with almost no mettalic flakes. What would You recommend as a maintenance spray - BSD or USD?
Hey, both is great but to keep up the slickness of CC Evo i would recommend Ceramic Ultra Slick
BSD and PNS are discontinued in Canada :(
i have seen people recommend to dilute bsd 1:1 to be used as drying aid a(also it makes the spray spread easier).
Can i dilute ceramic USD as well if so how much would u recommend to be used as drying aid.
there is really no need to dilute, spraying onto a wet panel will already dilute the product. for best performance use as intended
Thanks for sharing! Does the Sonax detail spray have a shelf life? Thanks again, great job!!
@rapaent no if stored correctly in theory it should last forever
@@sonaxgb Thanks! Appreciate it. 👍
Hi. Can any of these 2 be used after car wash? If so, how often?
Yes, absolutely you can use them after every wash if you like 👍
What gives higher shine and gloss
Tkz!
Can the ceramic spray used ontop of a ceramic coated car?
@ibrahimc8334 yes that is one of its best uses for topping up existing coatings and leaving a sacrificial layer 👍
My car is ceramic coated. Which product should I get?
Both of them are great on top of coatings, but if you prefer a slick feel then use the ceramic ultra slick 👍
can i use these products on a painted aircraft made from glass fibre and aluminium to protect the paint and make bug removal easier.
Yes absolutely you can, it's great on all surfaces.
Im looking for product with the greatest water beading, which one i choose?
Brilliant shine detailer gives the best beading on uncoated cars 👍
Which one I can use for the matte paint car sir ?
Both of them are fine on matte, but Brilliant Shine Detailer because of its polymer base leaves an amazing colour restoring finish. We also have our new PPF & Viynl Detailer which is amazing on matte aswell
which one lasts longer?
Can it be applied like traditional sealant with foam application then buff to a finish?
No it's a detailing spray, not a designed as a stand alone sealant, spray onto panel or the cloth and buff great at removing light dust or topping up coatings after a wash
Can you use ultra slick after ceramic coat spray right? Serve as a topper?
Yes absolutely!
If I dilute BS for faster application would it effect the end result of product?
There is no real need to dilute, IF you want faster application, use it while drying the vehicle
what are various surfaces i can use bsd and usd .. ?
pretty much any surface, it has hardly any limitations
What's better for scratches?
None.
Polishing.
Top products 🤙⭐️
Who farted at 3:21 ?
@EvilForces definitely the camera guy 👌
It’s just a gimmick to make money
Honestly it’s not depends what you want to do. Sonax is actually not a company that is rediculous and has amazing quality
