Great to see that your test mirrors exactly what I found. The looks boost and slickness is amazing with this and it’s so damn easy to use. I definitely use this as a topper on CC One where it works phenomenally. It’s a product that I go over the Car with post drying to make everything beautiful. The 5L/bulk is called Sonax Profiline Quick Detailer. Same stuff, but bulk.
It’s a solid product, would be interesting to test over various spray coatings and ceramics for compatibility. Welll I guess I have another video idea.
@@sheepstardetail It definitely is compatible in the Sonax Universe. With PNS it just gives even more darkening and depth and slickness; BSD too, it gives slickness With CSC this combo is bigger than its parts imho, this is absolute fire. On CC One its also amazing. I use this everywhere - but I am fully into the Sonax Sealant Ecosystem. They recently in the same series brought a Ceramic Plastic Dressing and a ceramic Wheel and Tyre detailer
Sonax USCD is hands down the best ceramic detailer n the market. I’ve tried a ton of them like Elixir, CG hydro speed, Groits ceramic SS, Adams graphene detailer and CS3, gyeon’s ceramic detailer and Sonax tops them all. I sell jeeps for a living and detail on side and every time I use Sonax before delivering the vehicle it’s like it was professionally done. I think it works even better on dark or metallic colors .
@@talonted2659 flex is a spray coating, not a detailer. You can’t use it to clean paint like sonax. Overall flex is longer lasting (although I haven’t tested the legs on sonax real world yet) but from my experience, sonax is easier to use, beads better, looks better (jetting) and is cheaper per volume. Flex can be applied wet, but it’s expensive to do so per use, and I believe a lot of people don’t find it very easy to use dry (streaks, smears). I avoid those issues by applying with a MF applicator, but I can see it being streaky with just a MF cloth.
I've been using Sonax ceramic spray coating and Ultra slick detailer combo for a while now and it looks incredible on my red car, plus the hydrophobics are great.
Good to hear! I am toying with the idea of a combo comparison, where I take a few products that have bases and toppers and put them on the hood to test out, maybe split it down the middle with a topped/not topped. More planning required
@@clints8888 Is that from experience or just TH-cam vids? I have Amplify and it’s really nice but it has weak hydrophobics. That’s not its point necessarily but I wouldn’t automatically say Sonax is worse. They have some of the top chemists in the industry.
Have you had the chance to compare Amplify to this Sonax yet? Enjoying Amplify currently, but always looking for more gloss, slickness, and hydrophobics!
@@2toniq Unfortunately my M2 got totaled shortly after I made this post and I haven't been washing my old beater that I went back to after that. I'll probably give it a try in the summer once I run out of Amplify.
I’m not 100% sure, but I think it’s best practice to try and use up a product within a year of opening/first use. If you can store it in a cool dark place it should last the longest though.
I would really like to test Meguiars but man, it's the same price here as in the US (im in Poland) and compared to Sonax wich is like 10$ it's a no brainer. Still i will test the Megs as it seems to have a nice durability (need a Ceramic QD for my wheels - wich is durable)
Yeah meguiars is not a great value unless you live in North America. Every once in a while treating yourself can be fun, and it’s a good overall product.
Yes it can! I would advise to not apply it on top of a non-sonax ceramic base until at least a month has passed since application, but it can be used as a top up/booster for any ceramic product. Obviously, test a small area to confirm before applying to a whole vehicle.
@@sheepstardetailby the way- did you ever figure out the inconsistency’s with Adam’s graphene detail spray? I still have instances where it won’t bead, and others where it’s great! Good call. Sonax doesn't make many poor products. It's a joy to use, and the look it gives is impressive.✨️

Yeah I’m really impressed with it. Megs is a solid option as well if you want a bit more chemical resistance, but sonax is so nice to use.
I like Sonax USCD, but I didnt find it that impressive. Will have to use it some more 😊
@@tafl-9198 gotta remember a QD wears a lot of hats. Of it can do all at a reasonable level then it’s a good product, especially at this price.
How does it compare to Flex Wax by Turtle Wax?

Sonax is often overlooked. Good demo.
They are. They didn’t go super flashy with. Arabic’s like everyone else and were overlooked. They have consistently made solid products.
Hmm I have been using Armour Detail Amplify, will have to try this to compare.
armour detail supply is on another level compared to sonax and mg. leaps and bounds ahead

The slick mist works REALLY well on the front glass. No wiper chatter.
The sonax ceramic detailer? Interesting, wonder if it would work well on ceramic glass coatings.
