I have tested the following on my Voron 2.4 Profile "350x350, 0x350, 0x310, 350x310, 350x0, 346x0, 346x310, 350x310". This excludes 40mm to the back of my plate and 4mm to the right. (It is polygon by point if you have 3 polygon points you will have a triangle.)

Probably the only TH-cam video explaining the correct operation of this feature.

Finally!! Someone making a video to explain this! I have a k1 max that prints over the calibration lines all the time and its so annoying this is going to let me set that area to not print so it doesnt give me issues. thank you!

Thank for making this video. XD I have a Glass bed and the clips keep getting hit by the nozzle. This bed helps a bunch.

I can't even figure out how to enter the bed size for a printer that is not listed

I have found out a way to exclude 20mm both from the front and the back of the plate
    The coordinates for me are 0x0, 300x0, 300x20, 0x20, 0x280, 300x280, 300x300, 0x300

Hey Fischer! Any advice for an Orca slicer profile for an original ender 3 with microswiss direct drive and BTT e3 mini v3. (Amongst many other mods)
As the ender 3 v2 and se profiles are no good and are soooo different to cura's OG profiles.
Ive tried making my own to no avail, it just makes everything worse than cura.

Have you checked out this one yet? th-cam.com/video/vvze96TNN0M/w-d-xo.html My enders we're exactly the same, but they were Orig Ender3 that I added direct drive to. fast forward a couple of minutes and maybe you can copy some of my settings that are applicable. I would image with a microswiss you might need to bump up you temps a little and probably play with retraction. I also ran a 0.6 nozzle, so unless you are too you can ignore that bit.
What about your prints are coming out bad?
Also, try some of the calibration tests built-in. Those can help tune it.

if it's near the perimeter of the print bed, \ couldn't you just reduce the print area instead?

Looking exactly for the same... It appears that you can't define multiple areas :(

You can limit the opposite edge by specifying that the bed size is smaller by as much as you want to exclude that area.

You can, but it seems convoluted. Here are the coordinates that make the 20x20 areas at the from of my AWD Voron non printable: 0x0, 0x20, 20x20, 20x0, 280x0, 280x20, 300x20, 300x0
It doesn't render greyed out, but it works for me.
