  • As some may know I have been having clutch issues. So, I thought I would put a couple of pressure plates and clutch disk to the test.

Rev 6 and 3 years no problems. Going to check this winter to re shim to 0.080" for wear.

Interesting. I've done that same thing a few times. I spoke to Ron and he told me he has guys running a stage 1 and black magic with 500hp. Mine wouldn't hold with 260hp. So far the BM with stage 2 is holding what I'm guessing is closer to 300hp now. Hate the feel of that clutch though.

Ya, I didn't like the feeling of the disk either. I think I am having a thickness problem. Go and watch Tom's video I linked. I plan to try that test next.

@@ddk56vw yeah I've seen toms but I wasn't willing to buy a tool just to use one time. I had a stage 2 and a super disk and it held the 260hp on the Dyno, but then started slipping. Turned out to be it got some oil on it, but I planned to increase HP so I went to the black magic.

The old disk and pressure plate are seated, after a few miles the new setup should improve
