I just wanted to comment about vitamin c packaging. If it's in crystal clear bottle, means you don't have to keep it in dark, coz otherwise the company will provide dark bottle for the packaging instead.

Thanks for sharing Liah ❤️ What do you think of home made Vitamin C serums? I’ve recently read an ingredient list and how it can be made at home by a biochemist. She makes it every week so that it stays fresh. Any thoughts on it please? Thank youuu 🙏🏻😘

I think its about thr humidity I dont get using lukewarm water when washing neither icing your skin. Thank you

I’m guilty of having a mini fridge. But in my defense, lol, I make a lot of DIY products and the ingredients really do benefit from being refrigerated. I also purchase a lot of indie products on Etsy, etc, that don’t have as many ingredients to preserve them. What I like to do is...when I wake up, take the products that I will be using that morning out of the fridge. This way, by the time I use them their room temp. Great video!
    Thanks so much, love🍃🌸.

I got one mini-fridge just for the reason that I live on a desert area and the usual temperatures on spring-summer are above 43C, I started to notice that in summer when I'm at work some of my products go bad really quickly ( i cannot afford to pay the electric bill if I leave the AC on while I'm not home), obviously I adjust the setting temperature to not ruin the formulas of my products.

So summer gets up to 40C where I live so I kind of have to refrigerate my products. But I have found a very bougie solution to this problem! I put serums and toners in my regular fridge and the rest (makeup, creams, sunscreen etc.) in my wine fridge which set at 20C. Very bougie but it has saved me many a lipstick (i feel that the actual fridge kind of ruins lipsticks).

What about retinol (derivatives)? It’s must to refrigerate em.
And also can we refrigerate serums like hyaluronic acid, arbutin and niacinamide ?

My country is too humid and extremely hot that my room temperature can go up till 33-35°C. I only use AC at night due to economic reasons
And i found out that my skincares are like sweating(?) esp. those jelly-like textured products that easily melt, they melt into water-to-oily consistency in a night :'
Guess i cant store my skincares for long term...

So I live in California and my apartment tends to get really hot because I live on the second floor and heat tends to rise. My family rarely turns on the AC. Most of the time (except during winter), my skin care products feel very lukewarm and even warm when I apply them. It doesn't feel very good when I apply when they're in that state. I'm not really into skin care but I do the basics. But even that doesn't feel like it's doing anything. So I was wondering, is it still not necessary for me to store them even though they don't feel right on my skin ?
