Gemma Tweddell KraveBeauty. I use her brand cuz they are good and work so well for me and I didn't know it was hers. I watches her videos but I didn't know that was her brand !! I only found out months ago.
I would use The Ordinary as specialized ingredients you want to mix with your favorite products. The Inkey List products are more standalone products. I've tried their PGA and it was very drying. I mixed it with my other products and I suspect the product separated - the combination smelled very alcohol-y and I used inert ingredients like oils to mix. If you have sensitive or combi/dry skin, I'd really look at the list of ingredients for both brands and see if they could work for you. For me it was a bust, for both brands.
@@Guremien Thanks for the tip! I checked out roseroseshop, and everything is out of stock. Lol sigh.... Hopefully Liah will be announcing that Krave Beauty is launching internationally soon.😎
For those who don't know, she has her own beauty line called Krave Beauty, and it is wonderful. She gives props to other good brands but her brand is also very good. Krave Beauty's Great Barrier Relief is my favorite. The Kale-Lalu-Yaha is also wonderful. And the Matcha Hemp Cleanser is also great. I appreciate when brands have good, quality products at affordable prices like The Inkey List, Krave Beauty, Paula's Choice, CosRX, The Ordinary, etc. And thank you Liah for giving this information.

Thank you for the in-depth review and breaking it down into categories. This way I can pick which product is best for my skin type and how to incorporate these products into my skin routine
Been using this brand for few months now and can seriously vouch for its credibility. Its so affordable yet does not have low quality. Its cheap and comes in small size. I have sensitive skin so don’t know works best for me. So, I am loosing much with buying this products to test.
I wish one of these TH-camrs that are so honest about these reviews, would compare this to The Ordinary. Pricing is comparable, and the ingredients. Impossible for the average consumer to understand what would work better 😔😖
Allura beauty did a head to head comparison with the ingredients of inkey and the ordinary and it was SUPER helpful. Definitely check her video out if you want in depth comparisons of what makes up the products.
The concept of using hero ingredients per products for you to make your own skincare recipe is definitely similar. The formula though, seems pretty different. I definitely agree that The Ordinary opened a whole new market in bringing active ingredients in a more accessible way and its good to see there are other brands following the footstep while offering different formulas. Just like how Missha opened a whole new sector and now we see all affordable korean brands everywhere. I don’t necessarily view one is better than another if that makes sense!😊 so long story short, even though they have similar ingredient based products, how it performs, feels on the skin will depend on the formula 💕
Imo it’s about individual products for each individual & not about one brand being better across the board for anyone/ everyone. In addition to the videos already mentioned I also recommend NO BS Beauty’s channel. She has individual review videos posted on most of the Inkey List & Ordinary products, & if most if not all of the Inkey List videos with a comparable product from the Ordinary she mentions how they compare.
I'm so excited that we can now easily access this product line! I'm in Canada and I just noticed it at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. Madi hi, I’m not skin care expert so I can’t offer a really good comparison tbh. But this was based on my personal taste. I didn’t find the Hada labo one as hydrating and was finding it difficult to decide where to put it in my routine. Whereas the inkey list one goes on like a serum. Another positive was that it was actually accessible at my local drug store as well!

Hi Liah, is there any collagen supplement you are taking everyday? What would you recommend to a beginner at anti-ageing? Thank you and love your informative videos! ❤
Yes!! I’m so glad you did a full video on this line! I was at Sephora today picking up some Drunk elephant stuff and one of the associates recommended inkey. But since I didn’t know anything about the line I wanted to do some research. The price point in comparison to drunk elephant itself is a plus.
I just purchased vitamin C cream from The Inkey List , hope it is okay for my skin and good for layering, because i read many bad reviews after purchasing this. Its delivering to me :3 ~
I think you can use it, I'm not an expert but there's no specific age to start using skincare. You can use it in the earlier age when you know you need to take care of your skin. We all know that serum is so good to strengthen and build your skin barrier.
You definitely can and it is safe. But it depends on if you really need it! I think most teens can just benefit from keeping your skin moisturized and protected (spf)
I bought a few things this morning with the vib sale! Can't wait!! Just wanted to let you know that I'm in a constant struggle with my teenage son and my krave beauty products. We both can't get enough of the cleanser and great barrier relief for daily use. He keeps taking them whenever he stays with his dad and I don't realize they're gone until I'm doing my routine. 😭 I'm going to have to buy extras the next time it's in stock. Absolutely love the glycolic toner for every few days, perfect percentage for my rosacea/sensitive skin. I did get the sunscreen but I do think my skin enjoys mineral filters best but it's a gorgeous formula. Can't wait to see what the moisturizer is like!
Liah Yoo I picked up q10, polyglutamic, multibiotic lotion, and the caffeine eye cream. I get the puffiest eyes due to allergies and caffeine really seems to help. I've been wanting to try a coq10 in skincare for awhile so I was excited to see an affordable version available. Thanks, for replying. Watched your channel for years and always trust your insight.
Dr. Bronner's castile soap is still soap because it's saponified, which means it has a really high pH. Soaps in general have around 9-10 pH, which can make your skin dry and REALLY not good for compromised skin barrier. But you can use those "beauty bars" (syndets) which have surfactants instead of soap, like other liquid surfactant-based cleansers. You wanna stay around pH 5~7 for cleansers. :D
For at least 8/9 months (maybe more) my skin has felt irritated, dehydrated, and just straight up uncomfortable. I exfoliated my face a lot and I think it might've been the cause... I thought my skin barrier was damaged but I've tried things that were suppose to help/fix that so I don't know. All I do know is it's still messed up. My face is irritated and red when it use to be pretty normal... I can't even put water on my face because it gets so dry. I don't know what else to do and I can't afford to keep buying things that don't end up working... I'm 15 so I asked my doctor about seeing a dermatologist and she said that the dermatologist might wanna do microdermabrasion which surprised me and didn't sound right to me... so she gave me some ointment to try that she uses but I don't think it's helping and could be clogging my pores because it's pretty thick like vaseline... what should I do?
Gracie Phillips if i were you i would strip down my skincare to just a very mild cleanser and then a moisturizer you know you support (+ sunscreen (but that can be tricky if you don’t know what is triggering your skin)). Stop everything else for a while even if it is tempting to keep using skincare because its supposed to be good for the skin, right? But from what I’m reading I think your skin could use a breather from the new products you’ve been trying and exfoliating etc etc. I’ve been in the same boat, with normal skin that suddenly was freaking out and anything I tried to remedy it just had an opposite effect. I then just cleansed, used my hada labo hyaluronic aced toner, a moisturizer which I’ve been using for years and that I know wouldn’t exacerbate my skin condition. Not immediately, but after a week or two I noticed that my skin was bouncing back to its previous, quite healthy state. I’m not a dermatologist though so visiting one may be your best bet, and if your not sure about he/she suggests ask them why and if your still not convinced you could always seek out a second opinion
TATI did a review of your kale-lalu exfoliator, you should look at it, apparently she had issues with the bottle constant leaking....she liked the ingredients though, but they were too strong for her skin
Will you be doing a good genes review? Could you do a comparison between oridinary, good genes, and ink list, which your stand out products from each brand. Thanks!!!
Hi Liah! Will I be able to use Q10 and Polyglutamic acid using a dermapen for better infusion? Already obsessed with it after watching your video, thank you!!! x 💜
I personally find inkeylist vitamin c very gritty. If you don't have anything slippery on your face beforehand, it does NOT blend well. So I started mixing The Ordinary Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F oil with the inkeylist vitamin c. Spreads better. Kinda stings.
Can you tell me the correct order to use what I have? 🙏🏻 - glycolic acid toner (PM) - beta hydroxy acid exfoliant (PM) - niacinamide serum (both) - collagen booster serum (both) - vitamin C serum (AM) - caffeine serum (both) Thanks !!! 💕
Thank you so much liah for delivering such a great content!💕 Now i really want to try those beautiful products because i feel like my skin need it and i'm soo curious about it too
Hi Liah! I tried Inkey's Polyglumatic Acid w high hopes for 30 days, especially given your recommendation, but sadly the product was extremely drying, no matter how much moisture I added underneath and on top of the product. I have tried 100s of products and love HYA and other water-binding agents, but the formulation for Inkey's PGA just doesn't work to keep moisture in. Really a pity because it has been so widely recommended and hyped. PS - I've always loved your other brand recommendations and your skincare videos. Also your honest review of The Ordinary was so amazing and very true.
Liah, are your top picks ranked accdg to your most loved product? Because I'm planning to buy at least two of your top picks. Thanks in advance for your response! 😘
Great informative video! I have been looking for an alternative to the Paula’s Choice BHA 4%. Been using PC for several years, while it’s a great product, would like something more affordable since I am in this for the long haul for my mature skin. Definitely will try the cq10.
Just got my first product by them, the Fulvic Acid cleanser and so far so good but not a fan of the dispenser because I squeezed out more product than I needed.
Hi Liah! would you say that the Q10, polyglutamic acid and multibiotic are sufficient enough for someone in a humid country? (: do let me know! would really appreciate your thoughts (:
Hey Liah, I asked recently about a shampoo video for people that have sensitive skin/scalp. You were kind enough to reply thank you. But I just realised I meant to say people that suffer from seborrheic dermatitis and malassezia over growth. The only options out there are just far too drying and I feel mess your scalp up in other ways. I have been searching almost a year now for alternatives to the typical shampoos that you could use in between using the harsher that elevate the symptoms of SD, but unfortunately these shampoos feed Malasseszia ☹️ It’s the same problem with skin. It’s truly become a really desperate and isolating experience. I know this is such a specific and niche request but I truly believe if someone could help point me and others like me in the right direction it would be you 🙊 I apologise for leaving such a long comment and if you got the chance to read it thank you for listening. And of course thank you for the amazing content!
Can I mix Alpha Abutin from Ordinary with Vitamin C from Inkey List together and apply directly on my face? Do I need wait time? Are both water soluble? Should I apply one after another or mix together and apply at the same time? Thank you for great content.
Hello Liah , I'm waiting for this . Sorry a lot of products I'm confused which one is good for my skin condition . I'm honey colour . 45 year. I have now dry skin.and i have keratosis Polaris on side of my face . And pores on cheeks. All these conditions of my face . Please help me which products can I choose now . Thank you dear . Always appreciate your time and efforts. It is great help for all . Love to listen your voice .
I´ve heard they invested less on packaging to focus on getting the best formulas and ingredients but still keep it affordable. But I also agree with you, I love pretty packaging...
I too MUCH prefer glass, especially as it’s MUCH better for the planet. That said, on the flip side, ingredients that are especially light & air sensitive are going to be a bit better protected in the Inkey packaging as one doesn’t have to remove the dropper regularly to access product.
I recieved my bottles from England two weeks ago. Packaging is just horrible. A third of glycolic acid toner was off and it wet the whole order. I am so happy, that it didn't destroy my Hourglass blushes! Bottles are cheap, light and thin, hard to close. Nonono, won't order again!
For this price range I don't think we can complain about something like that, it's not like it's going to affect the product and the cheaper the package the more money invested in the product
Hi Liah, I have a question for Krave Beauty. Are bad reviews being censored? I left a 2 star review for the Barrier Relief Serum, and verified my review. However, it is not showing up on the site.
Hi! 1. I love you 2. can you review the new sephora collection "clean line'?? i like the price point and it seems good but all reviews so far seem to be sponsored from people I don't trust about skincare.

I noticed I didn't get a notification for this video even though I'm pretty sure I opted in before.... 😔 Wonder what's going on with TH-cam. Great video as always, glad I caught it!
Inkey List's pricing is very similar to The Ordinary but I chose the latter one because of the packaging, if you know what I mean. Also, I wanted to try Inkey List's Zinc for sunscreen, has anyone used it?

Yes I watched her video! Every criticism is being heard to potentially improve or pivot out products & formulas 💚😌
Will you be doing a good genes review? Could you do a comparison between oridinary, good genes, and ink list, which your stand out products from each brand. Thanks!!!
Great review Liah! Loving the formula shots, because in my opinion they are very important and I'm really excided for this brand!
Thanks Marta!
I'd love to try them out! I hope they will be shipping internationally soon...
And your earrings are great!😀
Hope they do too! And thank you!
Can you tell me the correct order to use what I have? 🙏🏻
- glycolic acid toner (PM)
- beta hydroxy acid exfoliant (PM)
- niacinamide serum (both)
- collagen booster serum (both)
- vitamin C serum (AM)
- caffeine serum (both)
Thanks !!! 💕
Such well-curated skin recipes. Will take those recos.
Very informative. I have sensitive and dry and aged skin? What do you suggest as dont want too many products? Thanks
Thank you so much for this review! I've been curious about The Inky List. I got some tamanu oil from your recommendation and I LOVE the smell! ♥️😃
so glad you enjoy the smell because I do !! haha
Thank you for the review, it really helps me on understanding the use of each product.. 💕
Thank you so much liah for delivering such a great content!💕 Now i really want to try those beautiful products because i feel like my skin need it and i'm soo curious about it too
Thank you!!
So informative and thorough! Love you Liah 💚
yesss! the video I've been waiting for since your Overhyped Products video! 🙌 thanks for always delivering us good stuff, liah! 😍💖
Yes yes yess! Thanks for your patience💚

Do you live in a dry area? If there's not enough moisture in the air the acid will draw moisture out of your skin.
What top/dress is Liah wearing in this video? It's so summery and pretty!
Hi! Can you please do a review of Inkey List's Bakuchiol or maybe do a video about it since it's creating a noise that it's a retinol alternative? 😍💘
Absolutely!! But also depends on your skin needs
@@LiahYoo sorry! i meant sufficient enough as a moisturiser haha
Wow 😲 this video is so detailed. Thank you 🙏 Liah for making it easy to understand for even the most novice of us.
I have been searching almost a year now for alternatives to the typical shampoos that you could use in between using the harsher that elevate the symptoms of SD, but unfortunately these shampoos feed Malasseszia ☹️
It’s the same problem with skin. It’s truly become a really desperate and isolating experience. I know this is such a specific and niche request but I truly believe if someone could help point me and others like me in the right direction it would be you 🙊
I apologise for leaving such a long comment and if you got the chance to read it thank you for listening. And of course thank you for the amazing content!
invisiblekid69 have you seen dr. Dray? Her videos might help you out!
Jenn Taylor Hey Jenn thanks for the reply. I’m going to check out some Dr Dray videos now 😊
Can’t wait to try these and price point is such a plus
absolutely!!
With the same price range at least The Ordinary has glass packaging. This brand's packagings look cheap af.
Who cares about Package?
Id rather have Ugly Product thats is actually helping my Skin...
For this price range I don't think we can complain about something like that, it's not like it's going to affect the product and the cheaper the package the more money invested in the product
Super helpful video. Thanks so much! Anything you would recommend specially for evening skin texture? Thanks!
Hi Liah, I have a question for Krave Beauty. Are bad reviews being censored? I left a 2 star review for the Barrier Relief Serum, and verified my review. However, it is not showing up on the site.
No not at all! So sorry that the product hasn’t worked for you and thanks for taking your time to give us honest feedback🙏🏼

@@LiahYoo thank you for taking the time to reply! I really appreciate it.
Sound very wholesome and hopefully now this new affordable products can takeover the ordinary brand
Hi! 1. I love you 2. can you review the new sephora collection "clean line'?? i like the price point and it seems good but all reviews so far seem to be sponsored from people I don't trust about skincare.
Yes! I’ve been dying to try the range too.
Which is better The Ordinary Vitamin C suspension or the Inkey list Vit c?
Doing subtitles must have been a mission
T_T! you know it
The review seems grt.but I'm little confused here as to,comparatively which is better line the inkey/ the ordinary?
When you say "aggressive skin care habits" and "disrespecting skins microbiome," what do you mean? Could I be doing this now?? Thanks love your videos!
The concept for this brand seems the same to me as the ordinary. Would you recommend one over the other ?
The concept of using hero ingredients per products for you to make your own skincare recipe is definitely similar. The formula though, seems pretty different. I definitely agree that The Ordinary opened a whole new market in bringing active ingredients in a more accessible way and its good to see there are other brands following the footstep while offering different formulas. Just like how Missha opened a whole new sector and now we see all affordable korean brands everywhere. I don’t necessarily view one is better than another if that makes sense!😊
i have hormonal acne and usually get quite a bit of pimples...i have problems with picking too :,( what should i start using from the inkey list? i was interested by it because i saw it on some posts but i didn’t see a review i trusted until now. would retinol help me (i was always curious about retinol and all)? i just want to maintain good and balanced skin😭😭
this video was so helpful! thank you xx
Hey Liah! thank you for this video! I have a question, if polyglutamic acid is an humectant, shouldnt it be used before applying Q10?
I had to subscribe your so knowledgeable. After watching a few of your other videos and this one I wanted your help in purchasing a hydraulic acid for combination to oily skin. Do you have a top pick?
On the topic of bacteria in skincare what do you think of the brand Mother dirt Liah?😊
please ship Crave to Canada Liah :(
Hey, I have some postacne dark spots on face and heard that retinol works wonderful in brightening those. The thing is that i'm 18. Can i start using the retinol serum at my age?
what is the difference between caffeine solution and retinol bcs both of them are targeted towards eye problems
Hey Liah ! What AM/PM routine do you recommend for dry skin ? You skip this skin type :(
thank you ~ i will order firat time from the inkey list ~ so this was sooo helpful ♡
I noticed I didn't get a notification for this video even though I'm pretty sure I opted in before.... 😔 Wonder what's going on with TH-cam. Great video as always, glad I caught it!
Oh no 🥺 hope it works next time
Can Q10 serum be used along with The Ordinary Niacinamide?
Is there a reason that hyaluronic acid was recommended for the teen skincare recipe instead of the polyglutamic acid?
Inkey List's pricing is very similar to The Ordinary but I chose the latter one because of the packaging, if you know what I mean.
Also, I wanted to try Inkey List's Zinc for sunscreen, has anyone used it?
Hi Liah! Do you have a recipe for skin with overall redness (and PIH) ? I’m looking at that vitamin C and retinol, but not really sure it’s the right recipe.. thanks!
Hello Lia, sorry if someone else already asked this, but I was wondering: what are your thoughts about the turmeric moisturizer?
If you still wondering, Dr Dray made a video about the turmeric moisturiser :)
💕 Inkey list!!! Also where do you get that metal face roller I saw before on your intsa stories? 💕 your vids!
from korea!
OMG!!!! I LOVE YOU❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ you're so informative and well spoken It's a pleasure to watch you❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
This was so helpful!!! Thank you so much Liah!!! 💕
I have oily/acne prone skin but also have hyperpigmentation and dryness. Can I mix these recipes?
