    I'm mostly a Dewalt guy at heart. I do have some Milwaukee tools too. Hercules is beginning to look like it's going to make it's way into my tool truck.

    It's nice to see new products from a wide range of companies especially harbor freight. I'm a dewalt guy at heart and it's 90% off everything I own. It's refreshing to see these new Hercules tools come out powerful especially at the price point they are selling for. That means more people will have access to quality tools without breaking the bank on the 3 big Red, yellow, and blue guys

    1/2 inch lag from the Hurcules made the grain tighter for the flex. Drive two more separate by 6 inches apart. I'm sure the Flex dominates with a clean hole with nothing solid packed beside it. The Hercules got to drive a bolt next to another pre drilled hole allowed less pressure in the process. Clearly not a fair run.

      own both and full honesty, the Flex might be a "Bit" stronger in actual use. The Hercules I like better and a far better price. They are almost interchangable as far as power goes.

      I was just going to say this really is not a fair comparison, a 24v vs a 20v. If he was using one of the high-performance batteries this would be a lot closer. even the 4ah.

    🔴🤯How's the vibration on the Hercules? It's got nice power and all but I'm curious to the durability and vibration on your hands. Im a milwaukee guy and yea it kinda hurt seeing my team get beat but it's all fair and square. Can't win them all. Lol

    I would say this isnt an entirely fair comparison of 20 volt versus a 24-volt. If you wanted a true comparison you should grab one of the high output batteries from the Hercules line. Like that 4 amp hour high performance battery. That would bridge the gap. Even then tho with the less powerful battery the Hercules is damn impressive. Hercules for the win in my opinion. 99% of the performance at about half the cost.

    Sorry man not a good test the new 4ah extreme performance battery makes all the difference it has a higher amp output and i know this first hand and it looks like you're using the best battery for the flex and saying the 5ah for hercules is equal when the flex is 24 volt so you should try again with the extreme battery there's over a 100 ft/lb jump in power but they are really closely matched

      @@cristianpaulmartinez52 do I need to insult you basically this is not an even test and in an even test they are evenly matched i even showed proof of that with the link was just saying it was an obvious bigger battery and hf weaker battery not my fault people not doing there home work it takes less amps the more voltage you have to do work so you would want the higher c related hf battery to compromise the off set in voltage now you could test the top battery's but no one actually uses them with 12 ah battery its just to heavy for the set up

    Im a milwaukee person converting over to flex as money is available. I believe Dewalt got the speed correct on impacters though.
    The 1/2 lag is an impact wrench job not an impacter job. As affordable as Hercules is everyone should be able to own an impact wrench.

    People hype Hercules too much. I tried it and driver would blink from overload and not drive anymore
    My kobalt kept going driving 1/2 lag
    Also your first time driving the lag isn't fair. You have flex next to another bolt it has no room to expand

    • @seanbutler2291
      @seanbutler2291 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      People hype Hercules exactly as it should be, it's a damn fine line of tools so far. With harbor freight backing the warranty. That is the best you can get in the fucking business period. And at half the cost. Even the batteries cost less and you can get high output batteries that make the difference between the flex and the Hercules become almost non-existent performance-wise

    I think flex is a fucking beast and there is no way this thing was beating everything 🤣 the only way it can win is if you don't use the bigger batteries that's why I wanted to see them using stacked lithium and high output of course with Hercules ho batteries but I have to say I'm very impressed with this Hercules brushless but it didn't beat the Milwaukee 🤣 the only test it won is the lag challenge and you can tell the Milwaukee hit some hard wood it was tie on the 3" Milwaukee won on the drill bit and the spade bit and hurc took it on the lag so you can hardly say it won lol!!!

      thibs tool reviews, yeah you're not gonna want a 10Ah Stack Lithium on the flex impact driver. It will turn your impact driver into a mid torque impact wrench. And it's not helping it's worst! The tool is destroying a lot of bits and Fasteners mostly decking and framing screws and timberlok screws. For decking and framing you're gonna be doing fine with Flex 24V 2.5Ah battery pack. It will reduce the Power and Torque.

    • @TacticalThib
      @TacticalThib ปีที่แล้ว

      @@twinbee4243 that's not quite accurate my friend. If you year the tool and battery down you will find there is an extra positive and negative connection on both the stacked lithium battery's and the tools which the regular cylindrical cell batteries don't have they only have one positive and negative with much smaller leads!! Have you ever tried the 3.5 it's the same size as the 2.5 and puts out more than the 5.0 for the impact driver to really bring it to life I recommend the 3.5 or 6.0 on the drill for max proformance 10.0 or 6.0!! You can see the major difference between the battery proformance with the video #JUST4THEWIN MOST POWERFUL IMPACT DRIVER!! YOU WILL SEE THE 2.5 FAILED AT DRIVING THE 8"LAG AND THE OTHER BATTERIES MADE IT THE FASTEST MOST POWERFUL IMPACT DRIVER IN THE WORLD!!

      @twinbee4243 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TacticalThib you are wrong again pal. Engineers knows how to make tools I don't, but I do understand how they work. By designing a brushless that can handle the great amount of discharge or current otherwise the motor will fry like a hot sizzling Barbeque. Milwaukee gen3 and Gen4 are engineered and built to handle the 21700 cell battery but NOT the Stack Lithium Ion pouch cell battery pack. Flex is, Flex's Brushless Motor is designed and built to handle both Stack Lithium Ion pouch cell battery and 21700 cell battery.

    • @TacticalThib
      @TacticalThib ปีที่แล้ว

      @@twinbee4243 okay bro go and watch it not be able to drive the lag with the 2.5 and do it in under 6 seconds!! More ah more amps therefore more power you can't argue with math and if you knew anything you would not be arguing this fact not theory!!! If you knew anything about engineering they made it so it proforms better with the stacked lithium battery's because they put out so much more than 18650-21700 cell batteries!! This tool was designed for the stacked lithium pack and was allowed to use the older tech batteries but with less output!! So you would see the difference between the two batteries and buy the best which is the stacked lithium batteries! No more back and forth!! Once you realize what I'm telling you is fact you can apologize!!

      Buddy you're looking at Hercules using a standard old gen 5 amp hour battery that is 20 volts. Versus flexes 24 volt battery. The 24 volt battery pumps out more juice. If you ever grab one of the high output harbor freight batteries like the 4 amp hour high output, that would bridge the gap. And there are plenty of tests proving that it does indeed bridge the gap. And when you consider the results and the price difference yeah Ole Herc fucks with flex all damn day like it's a little baby back bitch

    I like the underdog, Hercules, but I recently purchased several FLEX tools...they are INCREDIBLE! This is what I got and what I paid:
    6.5" Inline Circular Saw, 5.0 Ah battery, charger: $189
    Reciprocating Saw, 5.0 Ah battery, charger: $189
    Hammer Drill w/Turbo and Impact Driver Kit, 2.5 Ah battery, 5.0 Ah battery, charger: $259
    1.6 gallon Vacuum, Tool Only: FREE!
    Five FLEX tools, 4 batteries and 3 chargers, worked out to an average cost per tool (including batteries and chargers) of about $137!!! Amazing deals as I happened to be at my local Lowe's at the right time, when these spot sales were happening. The 2 saws are typically $249 and the Drill/Driver kit is normally $359; the vacuum (Tool only) is $119 but it was free with the already reduced Drill/Driver kit!
    I think the Hercules Impact Driver is closer to $180 when you get the battery and charger, as well (70/70/40). In my case, the average cost of my FLEX tools were more than $40 less than the cost of the Hercules tools plus FLEX has a Lifetime Warranty.
    I think I saw a video recently where the FLEX battery was powering a Milwaukee tool...there is an adapter you can get for this...if you have Milwaukee and want to transition to FLEX, the adapter is a great idea.
