Rigid and Hercules were the obvious winners. I didn't think the other two could finish their jobs until they finally did. I've seen a few Hercules videos and all have been glowing reviews for HF and what they produced this time. Great work.
It always seems like you're about to forget what you're saying and then you remember it the last second
I was amazed by the HF Hercules. May consider it next time I go to the store.
Just got remember when you put adapter on so bigger socket will work on half inch impact wrench you will have some torque loss.
Roger that String Bean!
Incredible power 😮👏
Yo Vince! @3:05 butt nusting torque! 😂👍
Yeah Butt Nusting torque…it’s a thing…lol!
All of those impacts would handle my stuff just fine. :) good video
From what I have seen your missing the power houses . The new DeWalt new Milwaukee and the Makita 40 volt beast. From what TTC shows the new DeWalt high torque should ripped the wheels off. I think its hitting just shy of a thousand foot pounds. The new Milwaukee ain’t no slouch it self
Plus Milwaukee as big brothers 3/4” drive and 1” drive
He’s purposely testing an older generation Milwaukee against lower tier newer model impacts. Of course he’s not going to use those..
@@justine7242
I know he’s not gonna use those. I was just saying that Milwaukee offers them it would not be a fair test to put a 3/4” or 1” up against the 1/2” models
He's also using the Gen 1 Hercules Ultra Torque not the Gen 2, (which I believe has a higher torque rating) or the 3/4 Ultra Torque.
@@justine7242doubt it, Vince is without a doubt a Milwaukee fan boy
Thanks Vince!
Thank you Bennett!
Wow Hercules! Thx for sharing
Fabulous!
Vcg rules baby!!!
I went with the Ridgid and got a deal with 2 4ah batteries! Never needed over or close to what specs are yet
I picked up the Ridgid High Torque kit with two 4ah high output batteries and a charger with bag for $199 a few weeks ago.
How you liking it?
@@VCGConstruction I've only gotten to use it once It worked well changing over studded winter tires off of two Scion XB's.
It was surprisingly heavy though.
Bought it cause I needed a couple of ridgid batteries and figured that if I did this route it might keep me from buying Dewalts new beasts. I know I could have taken the lugnuts off with my DCF 923 but I wanted to try the ridgid.
Thanks
Thanks for the test. Those are big bolts! Curious how tight the 3/4 milwaukee would make the bolt.
Good question!
great job vance.
Thanks Kliff
I've found price for performance in the Hercules line. They don't have a lot of kits, but they do offer bundle deals often.
Excellent video @VCG Construction!
Glad you liked it Max, thanks!
Why not use the newest gen Milwaukee?
Did you not listen to the beginning of the video.
Not sure why you are using the Gen 1 Milwaukee. That tool is ten years old now. Even Amazon off brand impacts now have more power than that Milwaukee.
I'm not saying it is a bad tool. I own one and use it all the time, but it definitely cannot compete with all of the newer models.
I'm sure cuz it works alright and milwakee ain't cheap.
I've no doubt that a new milwakee would make these other 2 look like toys.
If you listened, in the beginning, he said he used THAT one to try (unsuccessfully) to remove lugnuts. So he went "home" and got his bigger battery. He's comparing it to others he had on hand.
@vcgconstruction Another great video! Once again, using what I learned from your channel, I got a super deal at The Hone Depot. 2 m18 12ah batteries & 1 m18 8ah battery with a rapid charger for $339.00! Before I subscribed I would have walked in the store and paid $250.00 for 1 m18 12ah battery! Thanks again Vince!
I have the Ryobi that is a monster for the price and with the Ryobi system being as good as it is a no brainier for me and if u catch ryobi days you can get a great deal
It’s Hercules for the overall win! Lovin my Hercules, as my backup to my Milwaukee…lol!
Great job brother. I think I would have to go for the Hercules.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Joseph, we appreciate it! 👍🏻
I thought the Ridgid did the best overall. I would like to see better lighting on the ridgid.
I literally got the Ryobi for free when I needed more batteries 🤷♂️🤦♂️..
I'll take it lol, I love Ryobi..
And sorry to tell ya, for a guy that owns his own contracting business with 27 5 star reviews on thumbtack..
Nobody gives AF especially your customers about what tool brand you have, get the job done and that's that..
I like saving money 😁😜 and the brand works 🤙
Love all my Ridgid impact Wrenches have all types 😌
Vance looking ripped, keep up the good work vato!
🤣 👍🏻
Sometime a 1/2” breaker bar and 2 guys
More pissed then he’ll rip the nut off
Better then finest of impacts
And with Vince gunsss he could done with a coffee in other hand lol 😂
🤣👍🏻
I have an older Ridgid 1/2" Octane with matching 6AH Octane battery. It's never failed to perform as needed, for me. FWIW, Ryobi, Ridgid and, Milwaukee are all TTI brands.
Thanks for sharing my platform is RIDGID so we can kind of know my vote direction. : )
VCG please do a review on the senix brand power tools!! Can’t find a lot of videos on the brand but I’ve read great things about them and very interested in buying!
What Senix tools would you wanna see?
@@VCGConstruction drill driver/impact combo kit, and/or any of the outdoor power equipment you can get your hands on like there battery powered blowers or chainsaws! I would greatly appreciate it good sir!
Did Hercules buy out the Kobalt brand? Looks EXACTLY like My Kobalt impact wrench
They don't call it Hercules for nothing. 🤣🤣💪💪
Old ironworker tying steel. How many grunts of torque is proportional to how big you are and the angle of attack.
Try the new DCF961 😉😉 i use it daily on 18 wheelers
holy COW those are some big bolts
Yo Vinny, what supplements you running?
I did purchase DCF961 this impacts feels like toys compared to it 😅
Dewalt: "no one wants to play with meee"
4:56 Gotta have dem modes! Don't want to be like Diddy and bust some nuts then fly off and go missing.
I want to see hyper tough vs black and decker speed test.
Gonna do it! 😜
I've got a DuraTech impact from Amazon.
In my experience, milwakee has that tq.
Go Hercules!!!
Hercules was surprisingly powerful. Ryobi not so much. Rigid has a really good policy for warranty and Milwaukee batteries kind of suck now. I think I would say rigid if I would do it all again.
I especially like the auto feature of the Ridgid!
Just when the new RYOBI EDGE BATTERY comes out soon more get up and go juice
When will you review the new dewalt framer?
DeWALT ToughSystem Most Modular Tool Storage + 2 New Cordless Framing Nailers!
th-cam.com/video/Brd7tz9FhV8/w-d-xo.html
@@VCGConstruction I've seen this. Was hoping you would do a proper review of it. I saw ToolReviewZone's review, but I don't like how he reviews nailers, as he showcases them not so well. I think in general you do this more thoroughly, and you are more experienced in carpentry so you can give a better opinion
Why are you using the old Hercules ultra torque?
"But nusting torque" lol.
Also, something important to keep in mind is that if you set torque for a nut/screw to a certain amount, it will inherently take less than that to remove the fastener.
Case in point, torque spec for gas key screws on an AR-15 bolt carrier is 50 inch pounds. When testing if the key screws are torqued to the correct spec by attempting to loosen the screws, more than 25 inch pounds is considered a destructive test.
Follow up to this. Torque test channel proved that any adapter for a socket reduces the amount of torque applied to the fastener by an impact wrench
I feel like once it takes longer than five seconds for the impact driver to undo it, I would stop using it and use a breaker bar
If you would of took the DeWalt dcf961. In and out. Problem sloved
Nah needed the new Milwaukee 2967! I love it!
Lmao the 1st gen Milwaukee 😂, i have the 2767 then upgraded to the new 2967!! What a beast!
👍
Why are you comparing against a 10 year old milwaukee impact that isn't even sold anymore? Compare current gen against current gen or this test is just complete BS
Because it's nice to have an impact as powerful as the Milwaukee with out the Milwaukee price. I use the Milwaukee at work, the Ridgid at home which I got on deal for $80 on sale.
@@morenothing4uI like ridgid as well but your comment makes 0 sense..
@shortsmcgee7134 My work place supplies the tools.
@@morenothing4u still has nothing to do with the comment you replied to. 🤡
@@morenothing4u that still has nothing to do with the comment you replied to…? 😂🤦🏼♂️
D.J.T. says: those are some Huge lug nuts, you got their Vince.
Huge Nuts!
Hercules! Hercules!
Breaker bar. Very inexpensive. Never had an issue breaking something loose with a 36" bar.
How about getting a torque gun so we can see the exact amount of torque being applied. We all know no tool will have the torque the manufacturer says it has. Most tools are either higher or lower.
Supposedly the Flex is one of the top dogs. And dont giggle at the Kobalt and DeWalt either
Go Vince!
With the Butt Nusting Torque! 😅
Bo buts about it!
The Torque Channel does this all the time ......
DCF961 enters the chat
Take out pos ryobi for a Makita
Yeah, no thx
Love you Vince. Keep putting out tve awesome.
Those adapters dont help ang if thise guns
Anybody remember Ryobi’s original colors? Hahaha
Butt nusting torque. Sorry I caught the first time you said it but you fixed it later.
Couldnt remove a lug nut with any of those? R.I.P. That lug stud... No way a passenger vehicle should ever have a lug nut on that tight.
It was ridiculous
@VCGConstruction Yeah id say so 😂 I thought it was bad when I needed a high torque like that to get my cars lugnuts off one time cuz a smaller one wouldn't, but that's brutal lol.
Where is DEWALT?
USE HERCULES 💪 YOU HERECTICS
Vince, your editor keeps betraying you man. You keep pointing at videos in the corner of the screen that don't appear.
To get the full take off torque on the Ryobi you need to use their High Performance Battery.
Awesome video @VCGConstruction
You haven’t even seen it
