I use to watch this when I was little. I’d get ready for bed bath and pjs on a Sunday then at 6:30pm/7pm me and my mam,dad and brother would sit down and watch this! Great memories, gives you a happy warm feeling inside. 😊👍
I absolutely love last of the summer wine it’s without doubt my favourite program to watch Iv been a avid fan for over 20 years and still love it 💥💯👍👊❤️
Im a filipino born n raised .. But i cant understand why im so fond of this ? What is with it? Or is it what in me? Been watching these for years almost every chance i get. Why does it got me ? I guess i will never know? But one thing im sure is im loving every minute of it watching these episodes.
I, too, have watched & enjoyed this program for years now. My step-Dad (a Brit) introduced us to them. I believe we enjoy watching b/c doing so takes us into a world of peace & no real cares - just funny situations & interesting characters. I prefer the episodes from earlier on = they remind me of the England of my youth. God bless! Ket
I agree Cranky. it's so sad to lose such beloved characters... it reminds you that you're getting on up in years. if we're very lucky, we will find all these lovely people messing about in the moors of Heaven. A happy thought if nothing else... lol
June 6,2017,just read of Peter Sallis passing away,he will be much missed,God Speed,Cleggy, give our regards to Compo Nora,Foggy,Truly, and all the gang !
One of the funniest episodes, and they were all so funny. Oh, how the clean, great comedies were the best. May history repeat itself after this high-tech generation realizes what is good entertaimnent.
I wonder how many The-Last-Of small town are there in the world! I know I been to one.. my late Dad’s hometown. The town had no water pipes and was excited for have finally was provided with electricity. There were only a number of households who stayed in their properties.. the rest of the town remained dark at night.. deserted.. cats took them houses for shelter.. and of them was my grandfather’s empty house. The well was hollow and empty when rain kept the palm tree highly standing. But needed a good green thumb to help make it look neat. We stayed one night at our Dad’s cousin. He’d had young children in there. What surprised me was that the town still had a doctor running an outdated health care small center. It was a rural town but peaceful and air smelled nice and clean all day.
@Alex Thrill It`s funny, one thinks that people who leave a larger than life impression on our lives are meant to live on and on... This goes for real life peoplein too.
The "rivals" for Howard's affection died the same year...Hope it was natural causes and not the gd vaks. RIP...Hope you're dancing and laughing on high...

Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
Best thing about this series for me is the outdoor scenes, a big change from the typical apartment and house setting of so many sitcoms
“Will you stop being in a good mood. It’s upsetting everybody “ lol. I I love the one liners.
I remember watching this with my parents when I was 12, I'm now 25. Brings back fantastic memories. Brilliant programme with characters alike.

A unique show ... somewhat the last stomping ground of some of Britain's finest character actors!
The harmonica tune (21:50) of Show Me the Way to Go Home, will forevermore remind me of Jaws!
This has to be the funniest episode by far! Thanks for sharing. I hope I can stop laughing soon. So good to laugh.
brilliant ,funny and clever

I love watching this, but when the main actors died, it went down hill.
Unpopular to say but the show went on 10 years too long for me.
True. Especially after Compo.
@@lewissmith3896 yes, never was as good after foggy left in 97 but yes definitely after compo.
I think I'd rather go to a funeral!
Not Blamire please
