    THANK YOU!!! I have literally spent the last three hours watching videos trying to find a simple way to do this. Your video is literally the only one with the steps to make this happen on my Windows machine. At least utilizing simple, straightforward steps using free online software (I do have the Pro Canva membership.) VERY HELPFUL. Thanks again, so much! ;) I'm subscribing to your channel.

    Sir thank you fo the explanation! Do you have advice how to do this for video? For example create fire flames frame animation so we can play other videos behind and se just fire flames around (without background as a png frame)? I am working with led screens and this should be of huge benefit for my work. Thank you!

    This is not working. When I click Position, it's grayed out and not an option. The photo overlaid never attaches to the frame. Help?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This works differently to other frames. This is more a cut out, so use the position to put the image behind the frame on this example.

    Great video, I try, but, after removed the black area of my PNG, after upload in Canva, when I drag the PNG nothing happens, all became a white space, I can't add any picture in back of the PNG. I don't know what is going on. I have Canva Pro. Any tip? :)

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This kind of frame sits over the top of an image. It’s not one you drag an image over. Does this help?

    • @ClaudyaRG
      @ClaudyaRG ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DarrenM Yes, I know, but, after create it as you says, when a drag the PNG to the canva at right, it not gives me the option of 'mask' some image bellow it. I really don´t know what is wrong :(

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ClaudyaRG I don't understand which part you are getting lost at. You are creating an image in Canva, opening in photopea to mask and then delete that mask, but when you import back to Canva the mask is not working? Are you sure you save the image after you have done the step in photopea?

    • @ClaudyaRG
      @ClaudyaRG ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DarrenM Yes, when I save the PNG without the black area, and upload to Canva, the area that was delete is nothing showing up. When I drag to edit in Canva nothing happens, all PNG turn in white! :(

    How do I create a custom frame shape that I can use again and again? For example, I want to create a frame out of the outline of my logo so I can place an image inside. This doesn't seem like it is a custom frame that I can use again and again and again. I was hoping to make it so it was just as clean as the Canva provided frames where there are no borders and it is a clean drag and drop for the chosen frame shape.

    Tried this multiple times and in Photopea it says Smart object must be rasterized. What am I doing wrong?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like you are exporting as an svg (vector) file. Export as a png or jpeg and let me know how you get on.

    • @kloepper63

      I’m choosing an element IN Canva (black sunglasses) downloading it as a png (what Canva recommends), opening it in Photopea, choosing the magic wand, clicking on the sunglasses and then pressing the delete key. Still the same message. :(

    • @kloepper63
      @kloepper63 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn’t show the gray and white checkered background like your video does. Just a dotted line frame around the image.

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you right click on the image, do you have the option to rasterize the image?

    • @kloepper63
      @kloepper63 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but still doesn’t work. I even tried it with the exact images you used in your video.
